It's not close to my house, but it's my go-to nail spot.
I don't go get my nails done for the chit chat. I don't go so that I can spew my worries and problems in my life on some poor manicurist a-la Legally Blonde. I go to get my nails done... and I'd rather just skip the chitchat. That's why I bring my iphone and/or a book.
I brought a bunch of ladies in here when I got married... Mom, bridesmaids, etc. They were good to us... were able to take us all at once and did a great job.
I have brought children in there and they have been patient and friendly. Some places roll their eyes at a manicure for kids and when they do things like requst painted flowers and sparkles, flat out sigh. Not this place. I even had a girl lose her "sparkly gem" after we left... we went back and they gave her a new one, no problem.
Hell... I might head over there right now. My cuticles are looking a little ragged...
I have been very happy with my pedicures every time I go here. The ladies who work there are pleasant enough but are not the type that will chitchat with you, which I am 100% okay with. I don't mind enjoying the massage chair and trashy magazines in peace. One pedicure I got, the lady answered her cell phone three times during it which is a little weird, but whatever, I liked the way my nails came out. I will continue to go here because my pedicures always last a long time, the prices are reasonable, and the location is convenient for me during my commute home from work. I have never had problems finding street parking either.
So I went here because from the outside it looks like a realllllly nice nail salon ~ I went inside and it's pretty top notch as far as others in the area (or at least as far as looks go). The lady that greeted me was pretty rude, they don't have a very big color selection, and the lady that did my nails didn't say 1 word to me until she asked me to pay at the end. WTF! Really? They are pretty over priced too... I'll take a pass on this place.
