I didn't know I could pay attention to anything about nutcrackers for more than five minutes. First I watched a 14 minute video on nutcrackers. Actually I dozed off but woke up when my mom took a picture of me. Then I walked around and saw a lot of nutcrackers. There are even Star Wars themed nutcrackers.

It was pretty cool seeing some old nutcrackers from the 1800's and there was a nutcracker there that was bigger than me.

Zipzap Zubidy Bop!

Do you like stores filled with knick knackity crap?

Do you especially love nutcrackers?

How about overpriced junk?

This is the place for you.  Get on it.

Truly one of the scariest places EVER!  If you like Nutcrackers you'll probably like the Museum.  If they scare you, you probably won't.

However the Nutcracker Museum is handicapped accessible.

C'mon, you know you wanna go. An entire museum dedicated to Nutcrackers. Glass fronted cabinets full of Nutcrackers. Plenty of the soldier variety, but also some interesting, old, metal vise like, vicious looking tools that seem like they could just as easily take off your finger as crack a nut. Some of the carvings are really fine examples of arts & crafts and there are nutcrackers from all over the world, not to mention nut accessories. The way these people love their nutcrackers borders on the "nutty" - yeah, I know, boo, hiss, bad pun - and the almost kitschy feel of the place makes it a favorite with me. Really short hours however, plan to arrive between 2 and 5 or you'll miss out on the nuts.
