Sunday afternoon on Larchmont... So many cutesy places to choose from. We got lucky and found parking right in front of Le Petit Greek and so happy we did!
We started with the Halloumi grilled cheese appetizer. Heaven on a plate.
I ordered the special of the day - grilled octopus salad... Yummy yummy yummy in my tummy.
I can't wait to go back and try something else.
Service was excellent as well. -

I give up on this place. I have tried and tried to support this place, maybe because it's in my neighborhood and easy, but also because the food/service used to be good, but I can no longer do it -- poor service, bad food, etc.
I called and ordered take-out tonight and while they were laughing in the background, missed filling my order and over-charged me for the food I ordered but failed to deliver. The chicken zorba was stringy and mushy; the linguine was cold and hard. I ordered an appetizer and two dishes and the price was $86 -- really?
There has to be better Greek in LA.... -

My colleague and I stopped here for dinner on a Tuesday night. This is a pricey Greek restaurant that's in the heart of Larchmont.
We ordered the gyro sandwich, which you can order at dinner even though it's on the lunch menu. The meat was dry- as thought it's been sitting. -

Cute place with a romantic vibe. But that's where it ends. Here's my experience: My date made a reservation for the patio at night, but when we arrived I wanted to sit inside. The host said there was no room. Funny because only three of the 15 or so tables inside were occupied. However, the host was kind enough to point out a few other reservations on the books to prove to us that they are expecting other guests. BUT there were still more than enough EMPTY tables inside! He copped an attitude and said, "you booked outside." He was literally ready to argue with us. So we ended up sitting outside under a heat lamp like two baby chicks.
Once seated, the service was rushed, and dishes came out very rapidly. The table top was never left empty between courses with unfinished plates remaining as the next course arrived. As for the food itself, that's another story. I could taste the lack of passion coming from the kitchen. Every plate that came out looked like the food was just thrown on it. The four stuffed grape leaves covered in a semi-clear yellow sauce were tasteless with dry, crumbly filling. The Greek salad was crisp and fresh, chopped in huge, unrefined chunks and could have used a touch more dressing. They also used large cucumbers and didn't peel them. My date's salmon smelled fishy. Not so fresh. My grilled chicken kabob was super dry and bland. The side vegetables tasted old. I suspect my meal was not cooked to order, but prepared in advance and microwaved because, as they warned me, the plate was "hot." Adding to my suspicions is that there was no grill aroma coming from the restaurant/kitchen. I think Gordon Ramsey needs to pay them a visit and set things straight. -

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday afternoon.
They start you off with fresh pita bread. This had to be the best pita I have ever had. I will probably spend months trying to duplicate it at home, doomed to fail. There were about half a dozen items that sounded great, the other costumers meals looked great, and ours were no disappointment. The only negative I can give is the wait staff can be a little impatient. Not to the point of being pushy but still annoying. We hadn't been sat for even a minute and the waitress was already asking for our order. Needless to say we had to shoo her away a couple times. -

Just got back from Feta Town USA over at Le Petit Greek (not complaining). So here are a few key words you should learn:
Tirokafteri-- Amazing cheese and hot pepper spread
Spanakopita-- Heavenly little spinach and cheese triangle thing, best ive ever had.
The octopus and the gyro plate looked pretty amazing as well--- but expensive. Go with a date. -

Greek food is my absolute favorite, but unfortunately, not from Le Petit. I can only attest for the avgolemono soup and chicken gyro, but they both lacked flavor and authenticity. For the price, $7 for the soup and $14 for the gyro, we won't be returning.

Excellent Greek restaurant on Larchmont. We stopped in for lunch on a beautiful Friday afternoon and sat on the patio area in the front of the restaurant. A good start to the meal!
We opened with a trio of appetizers: Taramosalata - whipped caviar, Hummus, and
Melittzannoosalatta - chopped eggplant salad, served with fresh pita bread. The restaurant brought us a couple of refills of our bread basket.
I ordered the daily special - lamb kabobs. They were very tender and flavorful. Some of the best I have had. They were served with lemon roasted potatoes and a very tasty feta salad. The potatoes were tasty but just a little mushy.
We some delicious rice pudding for dessert, a perfect cap on a delicious meal that left me in a food coma.
Service was excellent. Street parking available. Highly recommended. -

I would go just for the saganaki. Flamed cheese in ouzo with garlic butter. Decadence, and its a case of being sooo good, that you don't feel guilty because you don't care. That's how much I liked this appetizer.
We went during off hour, early dinner time, so not crowded at all. As such, the staff was very attentive to us and other tables. We started off with the saganaki. The presentation from the server lighting up the skillet is worth ordering the dish on its own, but the cheese, toasted on the outside, moist on the inside, smothered with the garlic butter, is certainly to be savored.
As if I didn't have enough cheese, I ordered the Kotopoulo Olympia (chicken breast, with three cheeses, roasted peppers, cilantro and red onions wrapped in filo). The chicken was tender, and the supporting foods were succulent. My one criticism would be that it was slightly overcooked in that the bottom filo was burned to the point that I had trouble finishing cutting off pieces to bite.
All entrees are served with Horiatiki salad, which is nice and fresh, vegetables, again nice, but not great, and roasted lemon potatoes, which are great. Sometimes it can be a bit too strong, but generally, if you don't come in for the saganaki, come in for the roasted potato.
Why I don't give this place a five? I know it's in Larchmont, and by definition, the prices will be higher, but it's priced just high enough that I can't give it a five - and not that it's way overpriced, just a couple dollars on the entrees. The saganaki and side potatoes are excellent, the main dishes are very very good. The service was excellent. It's a 4.5, but just slightly on the 4 side, like 4.49. -

I love going to le petit greek. Been going here for years. Food is delicious and location is great. In the heart of larchmont, you should definitely check this place out.
What I ate: Kotopoulo Olympia. Cheesy, meaty, vegetably, greatness in a filo wrap. My favorite entree! This dish comes with these roasted lemon potatoes which are epic indeed.
Bottom Line:
Food is delicious, but it gets so cramped here. Especially on weekends. I would definitely recommend. -

A nice place in the heart of Larchmont. Not your typical Greek place. They had some traditional foods as well as some they created. Over all a very nice menu and attentive staff. I will be back.

This place is ok and a good fall back. The food is good, I will say that, and I like the waitstaff. However, we were here for 2 hours the other day for my birthday. Not because we wanted to, but it took over 45 minutes for someone to take our dinner order and another 20 minutes at the end to close out the check.
Just too much time. -

The hubby and I wanted to sneak away for a romantic afternoon.
We stopped at a sushi place a few doors down but when they allowed hairy dogs on the patio.....we split.
We decided to give Le Petite a try.
Excellent service
Delicious/flavorful food
We had the broiled calamari salad, Taramosalata, Lamb gyro, yogurt and tabouli.
Everything was very flavorful and the service was definitely memorable.
We left HAPPY :) -

I don't know much about Greek food but I know good food when I taste it and everything here was top-notch quality. The saganaki is a must (flamed cheese with garlic butter) and the hummus was truly addicting. I let my friends order a combination entree for me and just devoured everything in sight. Everyone in the restaurant was so suave and helpful - just as excited about the experience as I was!

Came here on a Sunday for lunch. Outside seating was already getting full so we were able to nab a spot inside.
Staff was super efficient and courteous. Easy to order and came fast. The food was delicious! Loved the flavors, super light. A little on the spendy side, but keep in mind you get a ton of food (great for leftovers or sharing). -

The food may be overpriced, and as someone mentioned that tables may be tight (it's unfornatunate when you have obnoxiously loud neighbors), but this place is awesome.
Location is great, the food is always delicous, the staff is always cordial, I highly recommend eating here: hummus and marathon pasta are my favorites. -

Le Petit Greek has some GREAT food.
Great area as well. Its nice so after or before you eat you can walk around Larchmont and do what you like.
Menu recently changed!
We ordered the greek salad (onion, tomato, cucumber, olives, feta cheese) and Hummus and Ciziki (probably wrong spelling... whatever cucumber) with pita bread... All Delicious
We had the Macaronia me Kotopulo and Macaronia Me Garides.
Both AMAZING and quite a lot, had to to go the rest.
Some glass of red wine which I can't remember, but it was great as well.
The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that the water tasted as if it came from the tap, but others at the table disagreed.
Also we had a dog so we sat al fresco (outside, just trying to sound cool), but the waiter wouldn't let us put the pup on the seat or on the lap and strongly insisted he stay on the ground.
Other than that we had a great time with amazing food.
Great service
Some where I will and have been returning to. -

If you've never been here before, you have to get the lemon potatoes!!! They are so delicious. They could be a meal all on their own. However, if you're not going to load up on carbs, then try the gyro or chicken pita. They're both delicious. Service is a bit lacking at times, especially during lunch time, but overall it's a great place.

Was there on Monday with my boss having lunch at 2 pm. Luckily it was not that busy - maybe five smiling groups. My boss is on this new raw diet fad and I just wanted Greek food.
He ordered a salad without Feta, lentil soup and yes, it was cooked. He ate the bread and had a glass of water. agh.
I ordered the octopus served as a salad with the extra Feta that my boss refused. Also ordered the spanakopita appetizer and an Arnold Palmer. The bread and drinks came quickly but the entrees took a good 20 minutes.
The octopus was cooked to perfection. It was hot, moist, tender (delicious) and sitting on top of a crisp cold Greek salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, black olives, mounds of Feta cheese and the proper amount of dressing. I could have heard the salad whisper to me.. "go to Mykonos." I'm ready to go, marry a good sexy Greek man and just travel between the islands until the end of my time.
We devoured our salads, complained about work, and then spoke about our not-that-interesting weekend. I had to go hunt for our Greek waitress. I found her in the back, sober surprisingly. I asked that she bring us a galaktoboureko. Of course, it takes about 20 minutes to prepare or re-heat in the oven. I always ask for this dessert at Greek restaurants, even if its not on the menu.
I cross my heart and tell you this was the best I've had in many years. And, I've had amazing galaktoboureko before. If you have anything at all at this place, eat this dessert.
There are three reasons I do not give this restaurant a full five stars.
1. The olive oil provided for dipping the delicious bread was far most definitely not first cold pressed extra virgin. It was pure olive oil or a mixture. Huge demerit
These are less important negatives:
2. the waitress, buss person were both friendly and knowledgeable. However, the charming waitress was slower than a snail, dipped in molasses, oozing across a solid metal platform in freezing winter in Alaska.
3. The plate that was used to present the galaktoboureko looked like a flying saucer space-ship. The sides were elevated and did not touch the table. The center was a bowl that held all of the dessert. You have to dig in with your fork to cut the filo pastry and the plate wobbles. Also, disappointingly somehow it must be Greek culture for a waiter to bring two forks. Although I was expecting my boss to pay for the meal I was unpleasantly surprised that he ate so much of my dessert. I mean, considering he is supposed to follow this rigid raw food diet plan - just saying -
Review from Steph C.
My friends and I decided to get a casual dinner on Larchmont one night, and we ended up in Le Petit Greek. I had been once before several years ago, and I still remember enjoying the moussaka, which was described to me as a Greek lasagna. I won't kid you and say I remember the way it tasted, so I'll stick to my latest meal.
The place wasn't empty, but our party of three was seated right away. The space was nice and comfortable, and we got a cozy table inside. There's also outdoor seating in keeping with the ways of Larchmont. Service was well-paced and attentive.
I'd say food was pretty average. No tragedies, but nothing worth going out of your way for. I ordered a Greek combination plate, which was a reasonable way to try a variety of dishes. It included a Greek salad, which was light and tasty with plenty of cucumber, tomato, and feta. Afterwards, I got a platter loaded with Greek morsels, none of which I particularly liked.
The best item was probably the tzatziki, a cucumber yogurt spread that I ate with various items on the plate. Unfortunately, the pita I would normally use to scoop such spreads was stale and unpalatable. I also didn't care for the garbanzo and tahini hummus - I found it bland, and I am not picky about hummus. I did enjoy the braised lamb shank. It was too fatty at points, but mostly it was pretty moist and flavorful. The other protein was the a chicken breast with a lemon sauce that I found reminiscent of Chinese take-out, with tough chicken and heavy sauce. The little roasted potatoes with lemon and oregano were okay, but not as soft as I prefer. Finally, I disliked the filo pie with spinach and feta. It was dry and crusty, and I dismissed it after a bite.
I stole bites of my friends' kalamari and halloumi dishes, and these were better on average than what I had. The grilled squid with lemon and herbs had a pleasant texture, and I was rather amused by the giant block of grilled goat cheese.
Overall, I wouldn't mind coming here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a dinner out. I did like that the place was low-key with good service, but the food seemed rather hit-or-miss. If the price point were slightly lower, I'd be more inclined to treat Le Petit Greek as a decent cheap meal out. As is, though, there are many other mid-range neighborhood restaurants I'd rather frequent first. -

Sooooooooo good. We got the greek salad (add chicken) and the humus appetizer. Ok first of all, I'm pretty sure that was one of the best greek salads I've ever had. OH AND THE CHICKEN. If even possible, maybe some of the best chhhicken I've ever had!
I've had some amazing humus so I can't proclaim "best ever" but I can honestly say, DELICIOUS.
Sooooo delicious, def. recommend if you're in the mood for some GREEK! -

but the food is pretty damn good.
our waitress was adorable, matter of fact she kicked ass.
i dont mean to be cheap but the prices will keep me from coming back often. im talkin 20 bucks a plate, and thats for basic dishes. it gets way steeper than that.
a cute restaurant though. pretty decent wine selection.

Great location in Larchmont Village. The food was superb and plentiful. I will certainly come here again to try more of their Menu and vino. There is alfreco dining, which scores additional points. Lastly, there is a policy for no cell phones, and that is something I can appreciate
The only set backs is that even out doors, the tables are rather close to each other, I could here clearly the business meeting that was taking place right next to me and there side discussion of a mistress! Additionally, according to what I read on the menu, there is a 20 Dollar minimal per person. I do not know how well that policy is enforce due to the fact of when I saw it on the Menu, I made sure my guest and I ordered to the 20 dollar minimal (dont want to give away free money). Because of the diets of my friend and I , we do not eat alot, and as a result of having to order extra food to ensure we met the $20 minimal, we left some food on the table. A waste. I would have preferred that I ordered to my desire and not be subject to a minimal.
With that said, I still enjoyed the place and would return, the food was great as well as the atmosphere. -

I have been dining here for over a decade in spite of the fact that every entree and appetizer I order is a miss. The service is good, but the only thing I ever found that I liked besides the bread was the Atlantian salad, which is no longer on the menu.
For instance, I recently ordered whitefish in dill and lemon sauce and the sauce was too deep, fattening and flavorless (not enough dill or lemon). The veggies were out of season, especially the mealy tomatoes. The "famous potatoes" were undercooked and I didn't like the flavor, though I am admittedly not a big potato eater.
I would have given it an OK rating for $15, but for $45 for an iced tea and yucky sauce on bland fish - I may not return again. I would rather enjoy Greek salad at Astroburger.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I don't think I've ever had better hummus and pita bread than I've had at Le Petit Greek. The pita bread comes to your table warm, soft and incredible soft. It melts in your mouth! Then you dip it in the hummus and it's just magical...
I also had the pastitsio and it was yum as well~~~!!!! -

Greek is for lovers, especially on Larchmont. Le Petit Greek is a beautiful sidewalk cafe-style restaurant serving traditional Greek cuisine in an upscale fashion. This is a great place to bring a date or mark a special occasion. We came here before going to see a musical at UCLA, and the food definitely put me in the mood for a "fancy" date night with my beau. I have the vegetarian plate while he had the moussaka. Both of us were happy with our meals and there was lots of food, so don't worry about going home hungry. The waitress was great and the service was very attentive. Prices are a bit steep, and be prepared to spend at least $20 on your meal. You'll get your money's worth in portion size, but it's still more than I normally feel comfortable paying for a vegetarian dish.
Get used to people walking past you on the sidewalk looking at your plate hungrily and no doubt burning with jealousy over your fine meal.Listed in: Veg-friendly LA

Excuse me while I make gentle love to my food in my mouth...
*covers face in front of my dinner companion*
Just finished a late night swedish massage at Awe Spa down the street and my friend F. was gettting me pumped up for dinner at La Petit Greek. I was surprised, since this was the first upscale greek restaurant I've ever been to - white table cloths and napkins, real menus not paper ones, hosts, waiters and bus boys all dressed up in slacks and either button ups or evening jackets and a nice ambiance. Greeted by a debonair and nicely dressed host who promptly seated us. Everything I ate was great.
I've read other reviews and my friend may have shown me how to enjoy your experience here at La Petit Greek.
Expect to have a long leisurely meal here. Service is slow, but the host was very cordial and kept checking on us initially. Afterwards he left us to dine.
Also the wait for the food is worth it, but will take a while. Order the appetizer of fresh and hot pita bread with two items (my friend adores the whipped caviar and I ordered the eggplant) and it's like crack on bread. Both were flavorful and tasty and I almost just ended up eating with spoon (damn the pita! j/k).
My friend F. ordered her favorite dish, the salmon and warned me about the lemon potatoes - they're to die for. I ordered the pastichio, which is a greek lasagna, and was pleasantly surprised. It was nice brick of penne pasta with delicate bits of spiced meat and had a thick slice of cheese on top. My sides equally delicious - lemon potatoes (which I could order on its own and be happy), and a side of vegetables. That was the biggest surprise of the night because they were dressed in a spice or sauce or something that made them go from bland side to something I couldn't stop eating. I finished the vegetables before I even broke into my pastichio. Everything was served piping hot and was spiced nicely.
We were there past closing and rather than usher us out (and the other couple at the table behind us), they let us linger over the food while they brought in the outdoor tables. They even boxed up our food for us, which I think is a plus.
I really enjoyed all of the food and the company and would like to come back here again. -
Review from Rob H.
I am a huge Greek, Arabic, Mediterranean food fan! I am also very picky when it comes to this genre of food. I had dinner at Le Petit Greek and fell in love with it immediately.
It's a great little sidewalk cafe (very euro in feel). They have both indoor and outdoor sidewalk seating. This is a great place for a date and/or dinner with friends/family. It's wonderful for people watching or privacy (in doors). The food is delish, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is perfect.
It's casual, but don't be afraid to dress it up a bit here. You won't be alone in your fancy duds. I was coming from a massage when I stopped in here and felt a bit underdressed but they took care of my date and I and didn't judge us for being a bit underdressed.
I can't wait to get back and eat here again. -

Food is amazing here, it's a must eat for Greek lovers. However, tables are on top of each other so don't go there for an intimate dinner unless you plan on sharing it with strangers.
Also timing! Everything should not come out at once! the tables are not that big, and I can, but should not, eat that fast. -

There aren't many good Greek restaurants around Southern California...In the past, I've been to Sofi on 3rd Street, the Great Greek in Sherman Oaks, Ulysses Voyage at Farmer's Market, and Petros in Manhattan Beach...
I remember a long time ago when there was a Le Petit Greek location in the Beverly Connection. I hadn't been to this Le Petit Greek in awhile. I usually get a take-out order, but today, I ate there with a friend.
I had the vegetarian plate which came with a big Greek salad with lots of feta cheese, spanakopita, lemon potatoes, hummus, pita bread, dolmades/grape leaves, eggplant, and tzatziki. Everything was good and this sampler platter looked quite attractive. They had pretty good business for lunch with diners both inside and outside. We sat inside but had a great window seat because it was a little chilly.
Parking is always difficult in Larchmont Village, but we got lucky and found a spot after circling the street twice. -

LE PETIT GREEK! You are my love!!!
You are always there for me!
I cannot believe its taken me so long to review this place.
I have been coming here for years. I'm usually there when theyre about to close..
My comfort food/usual order
Avgolemono which is their Chicken Lemon soup which is what I get maybe 3 times a week. I LOVE IT! They must know me as the soup girl with the tabasco on the side.
Along with my soup I get the Melitzana Me Tyri which is delicious also its eggplant with feta cheese....Im a big eggplant fan.
I also Love the Zorba....I just want to ask for more dill sauce...
And I also love going late night and seeing the owner in his special table at night having his dinner (which I think is the same plate every night). I feel like the Godfather Theme Song should be playing as I walk in to get my food.
Also, no cellphones in the restaurant. -

I went to La Petit Greek because it was supposed to be dog friendly. When I asked to be seated (with my pooch), the server placed me at a table at the very end with a ton of foot traffic from another restaurant. She looked at my dog like he had fleas (which he does NOT, thank you). She said, "You won't be able to sit in the shade." I felt like she wanted me to leave. The food was okay, but almost twice as expensive as Papa Cristo's (which IS dog friendly) and not as good. All of the menu items referenced their famous lemon potatoes. The entree came with two pieces of potato that were so saturated with lemon, I thought I was eating a sour patch kid. It also took FOREVER to get our check (asked twice and waited after each request). A different server did bring water out for my dog. At least they did that. News flash: "Dog friendly" means you like dogs and make them feel welcome. If you're going to be that expensive, you need to bring it. I had soup and a sandwich (with the two pieces of potato), iced tea ... $26. Nope, I didn't have dessert in that.

Poli nostimo!
Greek for "Very tasty!"
Can also be used to describe the opposite sex or same sex if you roll Bruno style.
This is a beautiful patio cafe style restaurant in Hancock Park with a neighborhood cult following. The waiters and owners (all Greek) have good relationships with their customers, meeting, greeting and cracking jokes with the clientele.
My DP and I ordered the Greek house wine ($8) - I went with the white since it was a warm summer evening and it was quite refreshing. My DP swears by the red and its food friendliness, so I'd try this next time.
They give you pita with olive oil and a horiatiki (Greek village salad) on the house. The salad was beautiful, fresh, and of course super authentic. No iceberg lettuce in sight, thank god!
We began with two mezedes: saganaki and the gigantes. The saganaki was amazing! If you've never had flambeed (table side, of course) Greek cheese before you are missing out and I feel sorry for you. It's a tangy white cheese lit on fire with ouzo or brandy, then spritzed with a squeeze of lemon. The combination of the melty hot cheese, flammable booze and lemon is increds!
The gigantes ($10), giant white beans braised in a tomato and herb sauce, were nothing special and over priced.
We split the vegetarian platter which came with lemon potatoes, grilled eggplant, spanakopita, hummus, tzatziki, dolmathes and braised vegetables. Everything was superb! The spanakopita had an exceptionally crisp-flaky phyllo crust. The hummus was amazing, as acknowledged by other yelpers and my DP is obsessed with the lemon potatoes.
Desert, also on the house, is a form of galatobouriko (custard pie), except they make theirs open faced with a kataifi bottom crust with whipped cream on top. I ate the whole thing - it was so creamy and luscious. It's kind of like a Greek coconut cream pie.
This gets my Greek stamp of approval and I will be back for sure. Next time it's octopus all the way.

Located in adorable Larchmont VIllage, this is my go-to for Greek cuisine when I am in L.A. I think I could live off of Chicken Souvlaki, Pita and Tzatziki....and Le Petit Greek is mouth-watering yummy. HUGE portions meet semi HUGE prices... but you definitely get what you pay for. The last time I was there, we ordered a side of hummus, side of Tzatziki, a Mediterranian Chicken salad and a Chicken Souvlaki plate, all to split betweeen 2 and it was almost $70.00! Definitely not cheap eats... but it's sooo delicious, it's worth it if you can afford it.
I can't review this place without giving honorable mention to their Hummus! I never even liked hummus before having Le Petit Greek! Their hummus is delightful. Light, Fluffy and whipped, the consistancy and seasoning is so good.. I crave it all the time....the next time I'm in LA, I will definitely be making a trip to LPG... until then, I'll have to keep dreaming about it.Listed in: Top Nosh in Los Angeles

This is a very nice cozy place in the heart of LA's Larchmont Village. You automatically want to sip on some vintage and so we did. Great faux treatment on walls and great mood lighting with a fine dining steelo. We had fresh warm pita to start with side of olive oil.
Calamari appetizer was great! not fried and cooked tender, seasoned very well. The Host and our server was good and had proper fine dining etiquette. The rest of staff was militant and stern, not sayin too much w no smile.
The food was presented nicely. The hummus and tzatziki were tasty and creamy. The Spanakopita was a bit on the salty side but the Dolmathes made up for it. We also sampled the Seafood kabob special which was alright, I think the shrimp was cooked the best out of the 2 other fishes that were included.
All in all I would say this spot is definitely worth checking out. -

God I love Larchmont. Not only is it super cool and like being in a small town, it hosts some fantastic restaurants (and in my opinion the three best are in a row) - Village Pizza, A sushi restaurant whose name escapes me, and in between the two Le Petit Greek.
This restaurant is wonderful. The best octopus I've had in any Greek restaurant in LA. Wonderful Greek salad. A pasta dish (Marathon pasta) that is so flavorful, and one of my favorite deserts in the world - klafiedes (sp?) (A vanilla custardy thing on top of some baklava grain type substance).
Here's what's really great about this restaurant: The street is beautiful, the service is super friendly (though lunch service can be friendlier than dinner service depending on who you get), the food is the best Greek food I've had in LA, everything is so fresh - it's a restaurant you can go to 3 times a week (which I often do).
Now to be fair it is on the pricier side (Steak Kebabs about $25, most entrees between $15 and $30, appetizers about $10). Think of this as an upscale Greek restaurant in a more casual setting. This is not Daphne's - this is a real restaurant.
Also note the salads do not come with any dressing - they let the vegetables and the feta make it moist. To that end I like to order mine with extra feta and then I throw some salt on it...and it's perfect.
I've been to this restaurant about 75 times easily and I love it every time. If you go you MUST get the octopus, it is divine!!! God I love this place, I really do.

When an old flame called me up, I was surprised to find that it was not during the usual drunk dial / booty call hours (i.e. post 2 AM). Even more surprisingly, he wanted to meet and catch up, knowing full well he was no longer on my "to do" list. "But you said you wanted to be friends..." Right, and it's not you, it's me.
Considering we were always pretty drama-free and had a good repoire, I gave in and met up with him. We walked the along peaceful tree-lined sidewalks of Larchmont Village and all of a sudden, my belly was grumbling for some tsaziki and pita. Luckily, we caught sight of the charming Le Petit and seated ourselves at one of the sidewalk tables.
The other Yelpers were right about the service. Although the waiters/actors were hot, they were too busy looking in the mirror to pay attention to us. In fact, we ended up getting more face time with the busboy than anyone else. No wonder those bastards couldn't get a gig; they can't even "act" like a waiter.
Our entertaining conversation and delicious food, however, did make up for the lack of service. The steak on our salad was perfectly grilled medium-rare, the stuffed grape leaves were yummy, and the creamy tsaziki hit the spot with their freshly warmed pita bread. I had such a great time that upon leaving the restaurant, I almost considered updating that "to do" list. Almost, but not really.Listed in: I'm not a Player...I Just…

Two words: lemon potatoes.
I don't care what you order or what you feel like eating or what you're drinking or how many times you went to Greece and omg this isn't really authentic Greek food, just try the goddamn lemon potatoes that grace almost every entree and tell me that they AREN'T the most delicious things in the world.
(At least, I think they're called lemon potatoes. Or something. They're just like soft, cooked potatoes that are deliciously lemony and make me want to eat potatoes forever.)
Am I spelling potatoes right? Potatos? Potatoe? Potato?
