Christmas shopping took an unexpected turn when my heater decided to take a holiday too. Despite the chilly weather, we toughed it out for a couple of days until we turned to Yelp for help. LCS Heating and Cooling stood out, and boy, did they deliver!
Mark Harvey, their technician, swooped in like a hero. His professionalism and readiness to tackle the issue put us at ease. After a quick diagnosis, he outlined the solution and assured us it could be fixed that very day. Mark hustled, making calls for parts and returning swiftly, promising warmth in just 20 minutes. And true to his word, the house was cozy again!
The cherry on top? A fantastic price for top-notch service. Huge thanks to Mark for his expertise and lightning-fast response. LCS Heating and Cooling earned our trust, and we're definitely sticking with them for any future HVAC needs. I had to completely overhaul the heating system in my home. I had multiple quotes with multiple solutions for my house- that everyone said was built illogically. LCS found a solution that didn't involve completely redoing all the duct work and for the first time since I moved in to the house- I'm warm! There were several tweaks that needed to be done at the beginning and the company sent a technician right away to fix it. (Including at 9pm when my water heater was showing a malfunction.) It wasn't cheap, but I feel good knowing that it works and is warrantied for 12 years.

INEXPERIENCED TECHS- I didn't have a good experience. I called and they were responsive but when they fixed my issue of my furnace, from turning on and off intermittently. I noticed that there was a water leak after they left. They claim it is my 7 year old furnace with a 10 year warranty in the the home I custom built. My first bill was 254.00, my second bill was 322.00 for them to come out on a Sunday for 4 hours and then they quoted me over 400.00 to fix the part and the part was covered under warranty. THATS JUST LABOR!
Found out the first technician missed a screw, after several hours at my home. They didn't charge for the call outs and did apologize for for not recognizing their mistake.

We actually caught that during our internal review of invoices and refunded it back to your credit card before we saw this review come in. This was our first time of using LCS we are now customers going forward! They responded extremely fast to fix a problem that another HVAC company created. Mark, our repair tech was here within an hour of our call and demonstrated his 14 years of experience by fixing our problem within 15 min. (It took their competitor 2 hours to mess everything up). Mark was courteous and never said a negative word about the shoddy workmanship from the day before. He was focused, yet light hearted. He calmed us down right away and helped to get us comfortable with what had to be done. He left the work area cleaner than when he arrived and wore protective shoe coverings the entire time he was here.
When he was done he charged exactly what had been quoted which was less than a third of the previous guy and gave a very thorough report of his work including pics of everything he did.

My furnace decided to turn on, full blast, during the heat wave, and refuse to shut off. I had to kill power to this gas furnace to stop it!
Called these guys. They were good from the estimate through install.
The quoter was knowledgeable, thoughtful and provided an excellent quality estimate.
Insurance gave the green light at 2pm, and by 3pm I was scheduled for 9-11am the next day! BAM. Next day new furnace install. That is what I needed to hear.
The technicians arrived right on time (arrived at 9am after I was given a 9-11am timeframe).
I was actually 10min late and they were gracious, friendly and also thoughtful.
Thoughtful: They wore booties in the house, took them off when walking outside, and put them on again when coming back in. Or, worked as a team to hand things inside from non-boot to booted tech. This kind of stuff, and other stuff, all day long. These guys were awesome.
The new furnace installed properly in a timely and professional manner by thoughtful employees.

My furnace thermostat flaked out after a nearby lightning strike a couple days ago, and my heating system switched over to emergency mode with no way to control it except to flip the breaker. I knew LCS was just a few minutes from here, so I tried them first (the company who originally put in the furnace merged with another company a few years ago, and they're not nearby anymore).
They answered my call, assessed the situation, and had a tech, Jason Smith, available that afternoon. He swapped out the thermostat and checked the rest of my heating system to make sure nothing else had been fried. I was able to schedule an appointment with LCS heating and cooling before their busy season. Ryan was the technician who serviced my HVAC. I wanted to be aware of what he was doing for my education on how to maintain my HVAC. He was very patient and was fine with me following him around. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. I was very pleased with the service.

I hired these guys to come install a dryer vent for my tenant in the basement. Travis came out and gave me a quote. He was very professional and knowledgeable. The front office was very helpful and responsive. Great service all around! Since I am an out of state investor with a few multi family units in Indianapolis, it really helps to have such a great company who I know will do great work at a great price. Anyway, Travis installed the vent and then called me to explain everything. Very professional job and the attention to detail was flawless. He even took pictures of the work and sent them to me. Wow! I am so happy and so is my tenant. Now they can have a washer and dryer, making their lives easier.

Good, solid service. They sent an email and a text with the photo of the technician who was coming to do the repair work. The technician arrived within the timeframe promised, wore a mask and covered his shoes before entering the house. He was friendly and fixed the solenoid valve on my humidifier quickly, and showed me how to do regular maintenance - and informed me of maintenance services the company offers.
The price charged was reasonable and the works appears to be well done.
