The few times that I've been roped into coming to this testosterone heavy bar, I've always regretted it.

Let's see....

Food: over-priced
Service: slow and pissy
Trivia: HORRIBLE
Seating: somewhat cramped
Weird sexual comments from emcee: ??
And finally my personal least-favorite: the music. One time I was in here for their horribly car focused trivia, and in the span of 3 hours, we heard the same Sublime cd..what 5 times? THE SAME ONE. AND I HATE SUBLIME. (Talk about co-opting an awesome word)

You know what, I was going to give this place a 2, since it is nicely located, but I just remembered that one of my friends worked here as a busboy for awhile. He said they were slave drivers, refusing to give breaks or overtime.

Yup...you just got my ire Lazy D

It was a bright and sunny day in lovely Boulder, CO.

The children were playing in the fountain.  A street performer was jazzing up some tunes on his saxophone.  There was a never-ending crowd filtering past for this self-confessed people watcher.

And I took it all in on Lazy Dog's sidewalk patio.  Once I had moved out of the scorching heat to a better shaded table, I ordered a Hoegaarden, a delicious burger, leaned back and just enjoyed the view.

The burger was good and the fries had some tasty seasoning on them, but I guess the best part about the Lazy Dog was the ability to just soak up what was a wonderful day in Boulder.

By the time I stumbled in here I was already half in the bag, so I didn't mind that it was crawling with drunk frat boys.  We got a table, squeezed in, and ordered from our waiter.  He was really attentive and the service was fast.
There is a selection of $3.50 appetizers all night to help coat your tummy.  Portions of fried 'shrooms were generous, the chicken  quesadilla looked good, and the tater skins, though there were only 3, were also good (I know that none of that food is hard to prepare, but it came quick, which is of utmost importance to drunken bar patrons).
It was the night of a big Rockies game and the place was packed with drunken boys which was fine, until I went to the ladie's room to pee and I had to wait in line behind a bunch of swaying, belching guys decked out in Abercrombie.  Even this wasn't such a bad thing (I am all for sharing), until it was my turn and there was pee all over the seat, all over the floor, all over the wall behind the toilet (!), etc.  Gross!

This was a happening place to watch world cup Soccer this year. Plenty of TVs to share with your friends. Better than staying home and watching by yourself.

Rooftop bar is also fun. Sometimes they have TV up there too.

Food is as you would expect - barfood.
