I am rather grateful that I have not personally had need of David Givot's legal expertise, since he is a criminal defense attorney. However, I can honestly say that I have such a strong opinion of David's character and compassion that I would feel confident referring him to anyone I know and care about who might find themselves needing legal counsel.
I have witnessed his giving nature and know that his previous experience as a paramedic has given him a mission to help anyone in that field who may find themselves in need of legal help or just advice that will protect them as they go about their work. -

The Legal Guardian! First and foremost let me quote one of my favorite lines from Mr. Givot, "Criminal defense is not about defending actions, but defending an individuals rights". This attitude is what makes David a fantastic person to be your representative in the court of law.
I never thought I would be able to send Mr. Givot business. Really because I do not know criminals. Let's be realistic, would you admit it? However, I do know people, GOOD PEOPLE, that have found themselves in a bad situation, who need someone to help them navigate through the legal process. David is not only a knowledge navigator, but a beacon of light and compassion. I have sent a few individuals David's way, and every time they respond with glowing reviews and they better write some here.
The norm seems to be that he lifted the stress and fear out of the situation. "David gave me a clear plan of actions, which gave me hope and security", this was one excerpt from an email sent to me in regard to David.
Finally, this is a truly bias review (I must be candid). I see David usually once a week for networking. I really want to see his business grow, and I know he wishes the same for me. That is not my bias. Mr. Givot has a great sense of humor and, as I stated previously, compassionate. This again is not my bias. Plain and simply, I like this guy. The way his mind works is amazing. His attitude on life is a tribute to his growing success. If you have a "friend" that has found himself in a bad situation. Please tell him to remain silent, and call David. I absolutely guarantee when you speak with them again, his name will be said with a smile on their face.
Remember, "You are innocent, until proved guilty" is for prime time TV, but if you want a counselor like in those prime time shows... David is "that guy"!

Having been a Paramedic since 1989, David Givot was ready for newer and greater challenges. He attended Law School while working full-time and raising a family. His mission was and still is to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. That's what this firm is all about; defending rights, not actions.
Meet the Business Owner: David G.
Before devoting my professional career to the area of criminal defense, I worked as a paramedic, responding to 911 calls in communities throughout Los Angeles County. I later traveled around the country helping distressed Emergency Medical Services agencies, before taking over as Director of Operations for the largest ambulance provider in Maryland.
Ultimately, I returned to California. After earning my law degree, I founded the Law Offices of David J. Givot. Here, I have built a reputation as a powerful, determined criminal defense attorney, representing people charged with felonies and misdemeanors.
Although emergency medical services and criminal defense might seem unrelated, the two have much in common. Helping people in immediate need. Fighting for those who are unable to fight for themselves.
That is what I do.
