Laura is a gentle, non-judgmental, caring and insightful therapist. She brings years of experience, personal and professional, to her therapy work in service of her clients. She is comfortable with just about anything a client brings in to work on. She is especially good with women and teens. I recommend her highly, especially for those who might be new to therapy/counseling.

Meet the Business Owner: Laura G.

Laura Gardner is a graduate of JFK University's Counseling Psychology Program and is an MFT intern (#52187) under the supervision of Marsha Hiller, MFC30216.

Her experience includes leading a weekly women's group at the JFK Center for Holistic Counseling; working with children diverted from the justice system; and providing psychotherapy to clients in her private practice. Currently, in addition to her private practice work, she is a certified Sexual Assault Counselor at Rape Trauma Services in San Mateo County, and works with rape and sexual assault and abuse survivors at the agency.

Her passion for her work combines her interests in the body/mind connection, her love of diverse cultures and cultural studies, and her fascination with human nature. She loves what she does and truly respects her clients' willingness to bring their inner experiences to the forefront.
