I have been extremely impressed with LL's service. My clothes are clean and folded perfectly upon pickup. I don't know what type of soap LL uses, but they are able to make my dri-fit running shirts smell like new everytime.
Convenient service, as I can drop off and pick up my order whenever it's convenient for me (no more leaving the office early to make sure I catch the Dry Cleaner before they close.) Plus, they have next day service, as long as you drop off your order by 9am.
So why only three stars? LL has been very unreliable. In the four times I've used the service, they've put my order back in the wrong locker, had to hold my order an extra day because of a malfunctioning locker, and had to retain one shirt out of an order of 15 dress shirts because it "required extra service." It's a men's dress shirt. How can it require more service than the other 14 cotton dress shirts in my order?
To be fair, they did give me a discount with my next order for all the issues. I'll probably keep using LL, simply because I'm a sucker for convenience. I just hope I've used up all my bad luck by now.
Lucky me, there is a locker in my building! I just leave my stuff and it's dry cleaned or washed and folded (as I wish) the next day, waiting for me in the locker! I even had my down comforter cleaned and they did a pretty neat job.
A bit pricey, but totally worth it!

Laundry Locker has really taken the pain out of laundry! Leave the laundry by 9am, send your instructions via email, they keep you posted step by step via email, and they return it the next day. And, the more laundry you save up, the more efficient it is. Prices are fair considering the work you save.
Wow! Fantastic service. Fast turn around and reasonable prices.

I probably used laundry locker 5 times before I had a problem. Until that 5th time I was singing their praises and telling my friends how great they were.
And then when I went to pick up my clothes on the 5th time, my card wouldn't swipe in the door and I couldn't get in. There was someone else who came up during this time and his card didn't work either. He said his girlfriend was calling about the door not working.
But the next day, the same thing happened. I still couldn't swipe my card or get my clothes.
When I called their customer service line and said that my card was not working they offered to change the card on file in case my card had been de-magnetized or something, (it wasn't) but when I went back the third time to try my newly registered card didn't work either. URGH!
I called their customer service again and asked if they would call me when someone was at the facility picking up stuff for other people; that way the employee of laundry locker could let me in. I was told that they don't like their drivers to have customer contact and that was not an option. They proceeded to tell me that the only thing they could do is send my clothes to their warehouse in the Dogpatch neighborhood and I could pick them up there.
Another three days pass . . . since I don't have a car, and I couldn't get a ride to Dogpatch.
I call customer service again ask them to have one of their delivery drivers drop my clothes off at my work building (in the heart of downtown SF) - their response was that their drivers do not go off of route.
I finally told them to put the clothes back in the locker where they originally were.
I then marched over there and sat in front of the front door for an hour and a half until someone else came and I could sneak in behind them.
In short, a great idea, and a great service, but if you ever have a problem, expect horrible customer service. I, myself, recommend avoiding. Also note that if you need to call customer service, the line goes to voice mail after 5.

Laundry Locker is the greatest laundry service I've ever used! The dry cleaning is cheap and good! The fact that they can have it ready by the next day is amazing and I've never had a problem with them being on time. So awesome! I will never go anywhere else!!!!! EASY! CHEAP! AWESOME!!!!

Hooray Laundry Locker opened a block away from me. No more wasted Sundays toiling away at a dimly lit laundromat and lugging my rickety cart up van ness with tons of clothes. I once found a surgical mask in my clothes when I tried to wash it at Larkin St. Laundry another reason to avoid shady laundry mats.
25% discount coupon with your first load. I did a 14 pd load and with the discount it was only $14 well worth my time. You can customize how you want your clothes washed (temp, soap, etc). Then they email you or text you when it is ready and you can pick up whenevs. Really quick turn around too! I am totally converted.

I love this place! You just sign up online and take your laundry to self-service lockers (like the ones at water parks) that are open 24 hours a day. Place the order online and pick it up the next day. I also like that you can look at the website to see exactly where your clothes are at all times (picked up, being delivered, etc.). They even give you a really nice laundry bag bar-coded with your account on it when they deliver your first order. One thing that I've hated about living in the city is lugging my asian-lady cart to the laundromat on weekends.
No more wasted Saturdays! Go Laundry Locker!

Keep your graffiti to yourself please.
I was aware of the Laundry Locker in my neighborhood, there was no need to spray paint the sidewalks in a 4 block radius nor to dump paint near the corner of St. Brigid's church.
And wtf is up with writing a review for your own place?
it's so sad to know that people have had such horrific experiences with laundry locker. my apartment building has lockers in our wash room and it's so convenient to drop off laundry AND dry cleaning befofre i go to work and have it be ready for me to pick up, in my own apartment, after work. i have yet to experience anything negative with this service. i'll keep my fingers crossed.

My boyfriend and I just moved to San Francisco and we had to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks before our lease started. I looked up laundry services and saw that Laundry Locker had great reviews. It fit the bill for what we needed at the time which was CONVENIENCE. We both have demanding work schedules and the idea of drop off and pick up at any time at the 24/7 Kiosk location was appealing. Well, we went to pick up our laundry and for 3 days we could not get in because the card scan was not working. It got to be the weekend and the office was closed so we couldn't get to speak with anyone until Monday. We had to spend money on buying undergarments to hold us over. When we finally got someone on the phone the attendant was rude and would not refund us any money for our inconvenience. We were told that it was not their problem and that the owner would not care about our issue. Poor Customer Service!!! Inconsiderate!! Rude!!
