HUGE portions! Tasty entrees! The sides that come with the entrees aren't actually sides...they're meals themselves! If you're looking to stretch your dollars without sacrificing quality/taste, look no further than Bohemia. Don't forget to bring your appetite!

Grabbed a quick bite here after some golfing, and loved both the Miami and Cuban sandwiches.
I love the old school diner feel, and since it was mid afternoon the place was quite empty and we got some good service.
Would have loved to have tried some of the main entrees but that'll have to wait for my next trip back to south florida! -

This is a really solid Cuban diner. Food was fresh and healthy (we ordered the pollo juliana) and avocado salad. We really enjoyed our meal and we will go back. The price point is right too. We had a beer, glass of wine, shared the pollo juliana, and the avocado salad and the bill was right around 19 bux. This was plenty of food for the two of us because you get 2 sides with the chicken. Don't skip the fried plantains either - they were done just right. We went around 8pm and the place was pretty empty, so if you want a bit more activity and want a little hustle and bustle, go for lunch - the place is packed. The ONLY thing that would give this place 5 starts is the ambiance. It is what it is - a diner - and a super clean and functional eating space with great food. And again, if you want a bit more ambiance, I think seeing the place packed during lunch would do it. However, we enjoyed chatting with our waitress and there is no way she would have had time to chat us up if we went during lunch. Take the time to go here and you will get a good meal at a really fair price and will want to go back.

I was a regular at this place for five years when I worked down the street ("LB" as my co-workers affectionately call it). I go back every now and then when I meet up with my friends from the old job.
The food is consistently a solid B-. Nothing fancy, but you always get a good enough portion for lunch to hold you through the rest of the work day. Finishing your meal with a Cafe Cubano or a Cortadito is a must at this place.
The prices are low and have stayed that way for a long time. When every other local restaurant was raising their prices by $1 or $2 during the gas price spike of 2007-2008, the prices at LB remained unchanged.
The staff is very friendly. Although during the lunch rush, some of the more senior staff can be pushy trying to get you to leave your table as soon as you're finished.
The only real bad thing about this place is the greasy smell in the air because it follows you back to the office. Seriously, you need to sit as far from the kitchen as possible, but even then, it doesn't always help. I used to keep a bottle of Febreeze in my desk so I could spray myself down when I returned from LB.
Also, you'll never have to worry about this place being held up. BSO consistently dines here around the clock. -

It's good. Las Vegas Cuban is better.

Had lunch here today, the place was packed which is always a good sign, yet they sat us down right away. I had the tilapia, it was very good, the yellow rice is seasoned, very good as well. Prices are cheap and service good. I will definitely come here more often. Everyone on my party loved the food.

A fabulous restaurant find, tucked back in a strip mall. A Latino friend of mine recommended this place and at 1 PM we could barely get a table it was so busy. That's good and bad but the good is that it seems like the local business people find it to be a good place to eat. They have a large menu. I ordered an egg tortillo with Plantains and swiss cheese (basically a big omelet). It was odd (I've never combined all of those) but very tasty. A friend ordered the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. I scored a taste and think I'll get that next time. And by next time I mean the very first chance I have to return. Their Cuban coffee was flavorful...perfect. I think my only complaint is that it took a little while for the food to be done. I wouldn't come here if I was in a hurry. Despite this, I will return soon and often. Also, if you're alone, there is a diner-like bar.

This place is great. My favorite place to go when in Pompano Beach. The staff is great, the food is Latin. Besides Latino fare you can get a real breakfast for about $5 and that includes a real tasty Cafe con Leche. The lunch specials can pass $10, ex lamb shanks in wine, but its worth it. Other dishes I've enjoyed include Ropa Vieja, Lechon, Bistec Empanizado.
The portions are plentiful. Ample parking, and inside it is very clean. Also has a outside walk up counter to order a quick Cuban coffee, empanada or croquette. Staff speaks English and Spanish. Even my Latino friends like it.Listed in: Lunch in Ft. Lauderdale

I have been here about three times, I definitely like the food and since I am Cuban I can tell you its authentic. The soups are always delicious like the red bean soup and well as the split pea soup. Food portions are big. Sometimes I have noticed the staff can be a little rude but the food seems to make up for it.
P.S. bring a sweater its always cold in there. -

Excellent food and service. The portions are indeed large, so it's well worth the money. I ordered the half grilled chicken plate which was huge! The portion of moro arroz was very generous. Plus, their guava and cheese empanada was fantastic.
Looking forward to going here again for lunch soon since it's right around the corner from the office. -

I've always had a great experience at this place, and stopping in yesterday for lunch reminded me to write a review. Everything the previous reviews said is true - tasty food, good service, clean surroundings and pretty large portions.
I tried one of their sandwiches yesterday - the Miami Sandwich - it was turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo pressed on cuban bread...really good and better than a standard cuban b/c I don't really like mustard or pickles. They also have good empanadas and croquetas appetizers. Most daily specials on the chalkboard are around $7-$10 and come with beans/rice/plantains. One time I had the red snapper entree, which was seasoned well and awesome, plus they have the typical cuban fare you'd find at a cuban restaurant: "arroz con pollo, ropa vieja, lechon asada" etc...I also love finishing off my meal with a shot of cuban coffee, which is cheap here, only around $1.25 or something like that. Latin Bohemia is awesome. -

Loved the bistec empanizado and puré de papa. Quick service. Agree with another reviewer though -- the AC was on blast; must've been in the 60s in there. :) Definitely take a jacket or sweater. Otherwise, la comida es para chuparse los dedos.

if you're in the area, this restaurant is a MUST! every time I'm in the area i stop by. i usually order the churrasco steak meal which is mouthwatering. you definitely have to eat it with the green chimichurri sauce. once added to the top of the steak and it feels like heaven in your mouth. i also get rice and black beans on the side which is equally great. the way they season their black beans is quite unique. the bread they give at the beginning of the meal is buttered to perfection. If you still have room, try the chicken empanadas! it's the cherry on the top that's a must! my cousin recommended this place to me and i was not disappointed. on the next visit i brought friends from out of town & they left with happy bellies!

eating out with grandma is often a reason to shudder in fear. she has her favorite places, and some of them are even good. but after eating every thing on a restaurant's menu numerous times i am ready for a change of pace.
so i was happy when she suggest latin bohemia for dinner last night. i got there a few minutes early and had a nice cold beer in the clean, well-lighted restaurant. it had a window open to the street for serving pastellitos and coffee during the day (a good sign for cuban places to me).
when grandma got there we were seated and took a look at the extensive menu. pretty typical cuban-style fair; she went for the snapper and i had the churasco steak. both came out quickly and were delicious, served with two sides on large plates that met my large appetite.
the menu also included a number of interesting looking sandwiches, and when i discovered that there was a location near my office, i decided a lunch there was in order. reviews to come...Listed in: eating with grandma

We were looking for some good Latin food that was local instead of driving down to Miami. We decided on Bohemia grill in Pompano. The Service was good and the food was excellent. We will be back for sure. If looking for good Latin food that's not commerical. This is a great place to eat at. Nothing fancy just good food.

5 stars because it took me more than 30 seconds to find something wrong with this place and got nothing. Food taste and quality is great and fresh. Service is super fast and friendly! I have been there 10 plus times and it is always the same!

We were in town for an overnight and asked at the hotel for a Cuban recommendation. Their best suggestion was a chain 20 mins away. We turned to yelp and found Latin Bohemia. What a find! Fabulous food decent service cold beer and great portions! Thanks yelp!
