When I was a kid, Laser Quest was the absolute coolest place to celebrate a birthday or just spend a day shooting up your buddies with strange, blinding lasers. I haven't been in a while, but I can tell you that this place remains cool no matter what age you are.
Sure, there are plenty of places to play laser tag, but Laser Quest is renowned for being the number one spot. The course is pretty confusing, but that typically makes for better games, and (unlike at other places) I don't recall ever getting a gun or vest that was a dud. The staff, though they always seemed a bit jaded about the whole thing, was typically pretty nice. I like the fact that the course has randomly placed mirrors off which your lasers can ricochet.
Laser Quest is on Second Avenue, right in the heart of the tourist district. This makes it a good spot for visiting families to pop in for some good clean war games. The fact of the matter is that it's laser tag; as long as the guns work, you're going to have a good time. They also have games like air hockey so you can kill time easily while waiting for the next match. The place is also available for private events, so if you're a high roller who can afford to privately slaughter your friends with lasers, be sure to book this place.
I love Laser Quest, I'm here almost every week. It's great fun for the family, and kids and adults alike can enjoy this fast paced environment of tagging. It's not for everyone, if you dont like loud music, smoke, flashing lights, or running around, then go find the nearest retirement home. This place rocks!
How much fun is this! This is my 1st laser tag experience. I went with my office for a "team builder". The maze is 10,000 square feet and each game is 20 minutes long. We had a great time shooting one another, what a release!! :o) I also worked up a sweat from running, ducking, hiding, and laughing. As a side note you also get to make up a super cool laser tag nickname. I feel like a kid again. The place is really right downtown, near Hooters.
