Sad that I've not reviewed these guys yet. My experience with LaSalle Limo service is limited to only the two following types of vehicles: Sedan and the shortest of the Limo's. I've yet to had a negative experience with them:
Punctuality: 10 of out 5. They've never been late. Ever. Not when I was an undergrad at NU, not when I lived in Streeterville, not when I lived in Bridgeport, not when my parents needed them, and get this, not even when I lived as an "urban pioneer" on the west side. If anything, I've peeked out my window 10 minutes before ride time, and there they are waiting. At around 5 minutes before ride time, I'll see the driver dial his cell phone and a few seconds later mine will ring.
Cleanliness of Cars: 4 out of 5. I've only had one instance where the little minibar area in one of the standard limos had like...saltine crumbs it in or something. All the other times the cars have been immaculate inside. The exteriors are always very clean too with one exception that I'm not docking points for. I had a flight in February out of O'Hare, and the car that pulled up was slightly dirty. But guess what? There was snow on the ground. And salt. He had probably just had the car washed the night before too. Poor guy. Oh, also - there is one older Lincoln Towncar that has purple tints on the windows. They look like the type you buy yourself and stick on. I'd consider upgrading those if I were the company/driver.
Pricing: 5 out of 5.
For what it is (a limo service), the pricing is competitive with any other companies. Frequently you can find 5 dollar off coupons either on their website or in little magazines.
Friendliness of Drivers: 5 out of 5.
Can't complain here. Always courteous, always try to make conversation with me and my traveling companions. A big plus at 5 in the morning.
Knowledge of Locations: 4 out of 5.
With relying on GPS comes a few downsides: in the instances where the waypoint on the GPS is slightly off, the driver may have to circle around if he isn't familiar with the area. This happened only once, and that was when I was going to the Peggy N. Nature Museum for a formal event. I mean, getting to the airports isn't really an issue because there's only so many ways you can get to the terminals. And the number of ways is usually...one.
Overall: 5 out of 5.
There's nothing really spectacular about them, but they definitely did the job! We're going to use them again the next time we have an early flight (February). We thought for our honeymoon we might as well get a car to take us to the airport. I wasn't about to take the Blue Line all the way from the S. Loop when our flight left at 8am. Since there was little traffic early, we got to Ohare in about 25 minutes for about the same price as a cab, except with a friendly driver who was on time and in a much nicer car!
Thanks Yelpers - i booked a car based on reviews here and was very happy I did. In fact I booked a sedan and a shiny limo arrived to take me from my gold coast hotel out to Oak Brook. The driver was very nice and I arrived on time and in grand style! The price was only about $5 (+tip) over what a shuttle van with extra stops would have been. Big thanks to Nigel for being a great driver!
I hired Lasalle Limousine to pick up a bachelor party (14 passengers) at the Chicago Yacht Club (Monroe location) and drive us up to Southport and Wrightwood.
When I called to get my first quote, the woman on the phone quoted me $245 plus 20% gratuity. I said I'd call back if we decided to go with Lasalle. I called back about an hour later, awarded Lasalle the business, and she jumped the price to $250 plus the 20%. I didn't make a stink, because I figured what's the big deal about $5 extra bucks? Also, any limo I've taken for these types of events has been happy to give us a little bonus time for some extra tip. I should've let the initial shadiness be my guide...
Come the day of the party, all 14 of us were waiting on the side of the road for the party bus to show up for 20 MINUTES. After the confirmation email said THEY WOULD CHARGE ME for wait time. WTF?! I understand that there's traffic out there, but why wouldn't you knock some money off the tab? It should be a two-way street. (Pun mildly intended.)
Don't get me wrong - the driver was friendly and the bus was very clean and nice.
When we got in, I asked him to take a slower, more indirect route to the next destination. I asked him to drive around a little bit so that the bachelor and his out of town guests could enjoy the Chicago views as the sun set over Lincoln Park. He said, "Sure, I'll drive you around a little bit, but I have another job." Then he proceeded to drive us straight up Lake Shore Drive, exit at Fullerton, right on Southport STRAIGHT to our destination. No extra drive around. No bonus time. No apology for making ME wait for 20 mintues.
The driver then had the gaul to ask what the problem was when I refused to add FURTHER gratuity to the bill (when he was already making $50 for under 20 minutes worth of work). $300 for a 15 minute bus ride to a bar? Forget it. I'm never using Lasalle Limo again.

I used to travel weekly for work- at least one trip. They were ALWAYS on time- even when I had 6 am flights out of Ohare. i could depend on them- even if I overslept. Pack the night before, they would call when they got to my house, wake me up, I would jump up, throw on clothes, brush my teeth grab my suitcase and run out the door. I had a favorite driver at this time... he would often arrive with coffee for me- GOD what a man!!
Now that things have changed and I travel less (2-3 times per month) I still use them! I don't think my driver is still here, but they are still on time, courteous, and the price is great!!
I have to say- they do treat their customers well! I needed a car service for a trip across town-and due to the date- it was gonna be really bad traffic. I called, they quoted me a great price for pick up and drop off, I can make my tests, not worry about random tourists walking where I cannot see them, and get where I need to go and back.
I have also used them to drive me to and from the milwaukee airport- great rates there too!
More than just airport service- I do recommend them!
I keep them on speed dial on my cell- they have been my go to company for 5 years. They are worth it!!
I just used them for both a drop off and a pick up at O'Hare for business. They arrived right on time. I had ordered a sedan, and they did not have one available. So what did they send.... a stretch... same price... pretty sweet!
The drivers were courteous, the cars were clean although not brand new. I will definetely be using them again and again!
On time, friendly, clean, and not much more expensive than a cab. Love it!
I really didn't want to rent limos for my wedding. I wanted the bridal party to travel via cabs especially since we had a complicated travel system and cabs can take much longer. However, I was concerned that I might get into a cab that was dirty and it would stain my dress. (Bloody wedding nightmares!)
Anyhoo, as a long standing customer of La Salle, they upgraded my town car to a limo. It was very nice of them. It wasn't anything fancy but I did NOT WANT a bridal limo. I was very pleased. I would highly recommend.

I recently moved up to Lincoln Square and was concerned about trying to find a cab to take me to Midway at 5:00 in the morning. A co-worker recommended Lasalle Limo and at first I balked at the idea of hiring a car as it seemed pretty pretentious. But my fear of being late to the airport won out and I gave them a call.
The driver showed up 5 minutes early, the car was immaculately clean, and the driver was very friendly. The price was comparable to a cab ride as well. I would definitely use them again for my next early morning trip to the airport.
I usually cab to the airport or take the el during high traffic times, but my fiance and I decided we needed another plan when flying out on Thanksgiving morning. There's nothing quite like stressing over finding a cab at 5 am on Thanksgiving morning- no thank you.
So our plan was LaSalle Limousine (thanks to Ang & Misse's wonderful reviews). They usually charge $49 for a ride to o'hare, but due to the holiday it was $59. More expensive than a cab & much more expensive than the el...but worth it in my opinion.
Our very nice driver (I consider anyone to be very nice who works at 5 am on Thanksgiving Day) was waiting for us when my sleepy fiance and I made our way downstairs. And we were at the airport within 20 minutes. Definitely something I'd look into again if I was worried about finding a cab.
I used LaSalle Limo for my mother and her best friend's 60th birthday celebration and they were the best!!
Our driver was friendly and personable, he arrived on time, the car was clean and comfortable, and planning the event was easy to do with clear confirmation, fair prices and no last minute wierd charges.
Brilliant, straight-forward service.
I would use this company again without hesitation!
Standard limo service. Prompt and courteous drivers, clean, very nice looking newer cars, and prices that are reasonable.
I can't think why you shouldn't use this service, if you need a limo.

I was lazy and decided to get car service instead of lugging around my suitcase full of pitchbooks in Chicago. $50/hour and the driver was great. On-time, friendly, and well-kept cars.
Half the time it seems that car service is a better value than taking a cab. That's odds enough for me to make it car service every time... I'm a frequent traveler and frequent customer of car service operators. Lasalle was there when scheduled and got me where I needed to go in one piece and relative comfort. Cars are newer, but show the wear that you'd expect from any big city car service operator. I will be a repeat customer of Lasalle - and they get my recommend.
We used LaSalle Limousine to transport us to O'Hare for our very early morning flight. They arrived early, were professional and courteous, and the cars were very clean. The one drawback? Price. A car service is pricey, I know this. But by the time we got hit with a holiday fee, and an early morning pickup fee, we were looking at a bill more than twice that of taking a regular cab. Ouch.
I've been a frequent business traveler for about seven years, and after finally getting fed up with cabbies not willing to take credit cards, I decided to check out car services. Of course, the first place I checked was here on yelp! The reviews for Lasalle Limo were very positive so I decided to give them a try. After two months and approximately 12 pick-ups, I can honestly stay that they have never been late (even very early on Monday mornings) and are always professional. Airport pick-ups are a breeze and the prices are competitive. Keep up the great work, Lasalle Limo!
