I don' t know the secret of Las Palmas, but somehow these guys manage to own and operate dozens of tasty little authentic Mexican joints throughout the greater Nashville area, and virtually all of their cuisine at each location is the same.  As is the case with the other Las Palmas restaurants in Nashville, this one is a good, solid joint to grab some lunch with friends.

Every once in a while, service is a bit slow.  That's typically during your usual lunch hours, however, and if you go after the rush you'll probably be seated and served very quickly.  The salsa at this Las Palmas tends to be a bit spicier than most, but I like it.  They offer some pretty cheap lunch specials, and it's located near the mall and several other places of interest in the Rivergate area.

As I say with most of my Goodlettsville reviews, I wouldn't recommend heading out that way just for kicks.  If you're there doing some shopping, however, Las Palmas is a friendly and familiar spot to do some speedy dining.
