My letter to the management of this superb hotel, in full:
I recently finished a long-term stay at your hotel and wanted to thank you and your entire staff for a most wonderful stay.
Based in the Renton area for a work project beginning in April, I moved over to Larkspur following a most trouble-filled stay with your neighbor to the West, the Marriott TownePlace. I won't list the problems I had while staying there, suffice it to say that you and your team could go over to that property and teach their management and staff how to run a hotel professionally!
When one is based away from home for such an extended period, they expect their hotel to provide them with the comfortablility of a home-like situation. The earlier hotel never seemed to understand that. Larkspur, however, did.
Your rooms and facilities are most comfortable, extremely clean and well-kept. The ammenties you provide prove beyond a doubt that you have your guests' best interests at heart. Your staff is stellar - day in and day out, their number one priority is always their guests.
While every member of your team was courteous and professional, I have to single out one individual for additional praise. Thomas gets high marks in my book. The afternoon I checked in I was having connectivity problems with my laptop. Thomas took time out of his busy schedule to troubleshoot things (from both inside my room and from the front desk) and got me up and running. Moreover, during the entire length of my stay he always made sure to provide me with a hearty smile and a "Good afternoon, Mr. XXX" each and every time I walked through your front lobby. The man has a brilliant future in the hospitality business should he choose to go down that path.
The next couple of months have me wrapping up this current project from my home office in San Francisco. But, I will need to return to Renton for about a week within the next month or two; and after the very positive experience I had earlier this summer, you can bet I'll be staying at your Larkspur property when I return.
So, one more time...a big "thank you" to you and your staff for a very comfortable and very enjoyable stay.
We have stayed in the past at the Larkspur hotel in Tiburon, CA and it was so beautiful and romantic that we decided to give this one a try as well. It's a great hotel. Conveniently located. I liked the kitchen and the nice big flat tv. Bed was comfy and staff was nice. They are pet friendly. The charge is 75 USD per stay for your pet. The best rates can be found via their website.

I loved--- LOVED --- this place. I was in Seattle on business when they first opened up - about 3 years ago, (yeah I am new to YELP), and I stayed there. It was FAB. I wish they had a few more few perks for biz travelers, but whoa was it is great anyway. I would stay there again and again. It was cozy, comfy, nice. The prices are a bit high for the company now, (I got in on a new opening special rate), but I still look to see if I can get in every time I am up there. The location might be a bit tricky if you are not familiar with Seattle/Renton/SouthCenter/Kent..... But do try to find it. I am always traveling for business, and that place really stood out, as great!!!!
Great hotel for business travelers. Small gym and jacuzzi. Our suite had 2 burners and a small dishwasher along with microwave and refrigerator. Refrigerator ice maker worked like a dream. In room DVD player and 2 televisions. Double sink in the large bathroom. Convenient to downtown Kent and near highway entrance.
I really LOVED this hotel. There are 3 other hotels in the same complex but this one looked nicer and more upscale. Surprisingly the cheapest too ($109/night). Our guest room was very cozy and felt like I was living in a studio apt. There's a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, wine corks and everything else you would need. Huge work desk to sit and play on your laptop. Huge flat screen TV. Bathroom is on the small side but still nice. No vent fan though. Close to HWY 167 and 405. Comfortable beds with down comforters.
