As a non-techie I only know so much about computers.  So when my laptop crashed, with my whole life in it I freaked out.  I was hearing all sorts of scary stories of the cost of fixing the laptop so my cousin was gracious enough to try and fix it for me.  He advised me to take it in somewhere and get an estimate.  I did'nt have a clue as to whom I should take it to so of course I turned to Yelp!

Laptops Plus was on the list and I got the best service.  They could have gotten all technical with me, but the solution to my laptop dilemma was simple.  All it took was a $20 fix!  They even had to send me somewhere else because they didn't have the device to sell me.  They could have used my lack of knowledge of computers to totally take advantage of me.  But they were honest, to the point, and did not make me feel like a complete idiot.  They didn't even charge me for looking at my laptop.  I will definitely use them again!

If you have no idea what Cntl-Alt-Del means, then this might be a good enough establishment for you.  If you know anything about computers stay away.  The guy at the counter took my laptop in even though I told him that I thought I had a bad motherboard.  This I assumed since replacing the hard drive and installing a new OS continued to display the random freezing or rebooting that would occur as I tried to get some work done.  In addition, the symptoms persisted even if I booted into Linux from a flash drive.  This did not deter the genius at the bar.  After doing a full analysis over several days, he told me they had found the answer.  A virus in my junk email.
I am very careful not to open attachments and use Norton internet Security on all my computers, but I figured if he solved the problem, it was worth the $100.
The next day, the same symptoms occurred.  I had it with these geniuses.
I bought a new ultrabook the next day and have been quite happy.  Moral of this story.  If you know anything about computers, stay away.  If you are still looking for the "any" key to push, this is just the place.

A week after my boyfriend took his laptops in to Laptops Plus for evaluation, my external hard drive stopped working.  Not being familiar with any other computer repair places, I brought the hard drive there also. We both had great experiences with Jon and the help he provided us, and I'd recommend him to anyone who needs computer help.

I could've easily been taken advantage of, not knowing much about how external hard drives work.  I came in thinking I'd need some expensive data extraction, but what I got was an economical new case for my existing hard drive.  Jon took apart my external hard drive and was able to determine that it was just some faulty hardware.  He put it into a new hard drive case for me ( I think I'm describing it correctly) and I was on my way.

Like I said, a dummy like me could've easily been taken advantage of when I came in saying "my hard drive doesn't work anymore, wah wah wah, I can't access all my drunken college pictures to post on Facebook!"  But Jon was there, and he saved the day, cheaply.  Is it weird that I'm excited for something else to go wrong just so I can stop by again and be amazed by the geeky awesomeness?

Love the guys at Laptops Plus!! I wouldn't go anywhere else.  They really know their stuff and I agree that they are honest and will give it to you straight as far as worth of repair or not.  They are happy to help out, regardless of how small the problem.  And the great thing is that they remember you, even helping me out with a free part once! Thanks guys!

This place is great, price for the service is not too expensive, they also were able to help with my broken laptop and left it as new, the next time I needed their help I took my other laptop that didn't turn on, the nice guy did a quick easy trick  to make it work again. Awesome help, and very friendly people...I will recommend to go here for any computer problem!

These  guys fixed my laptop for $100 less than what hp quoted me AND they did it way faster. They had to order a part for it and I still had it back in three days! They totally fixed it and didn't try to sell me any extra crap. They have laptops for rent while yours is being fixed too. I will definitely go back to them.

Was told TOO MANY different things between the 2 guys that work there. I dropped my laptop off on a Wednesday he said 2-3 days. I called on Saturday and he said it's about to hit the bench, I called again on Tuesday and he said the same exact thing. Then later that day he said I needed an entire new part and it would take another 2-3 days to get in and install it, since I'd only had the laptop 2 months I thought I should just bite the bullet and eat the $266 dollars...THEN later that SAME day I get a call from him telling me my laptop is ready and I'm lucky because he had another laptop of the exact same model come in for a repair and the mother board was gone but the part I need was in great condition. I said alright I'd pick it up in the morning assuming the price would be dropped since the part given was USED. I get there the next morning the another man that I have never dealt with before tell me I was lucky because I order a LCD screen for another repair and it was the wrong one but it was perfect for mine...REALLY?? I was just either point blank lied to my face or a freaking miracle just happened. The first guy that helped me I felt was pretty honest because he told the part was used, but the other man just seemed extremely shady. I will NEVER go back to this place again, because they can't seem the get there stories straight!
