Q:
It's January 2021 now, have you been given the green light to reopen again? This is my favorite movie theater I want to support them as much as I can. When they were open during the pandemic I went at least once a week
A:
Not yet. Please monitor landmarktheatres.com for updates.

This is my favorite theater in the greater Denver area. Its clean, affordable (popcorn and drink included in ticket price), walkable to lightrail, has full bar, comfy leather seats, lots of restaurants options nearby. I also like that its (usually) filled with adults rather than teens.
Here are some tips; get your tickets early. On peek nights the showings can sell out or you can arrive too late to get seats together. One night we purchased our tickets in advance but showed up too late for seating. We were quickly given a refund and apology. Arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the show or ask when to arrive if it's a new release. The food options are slim. Plan on buying your tix then hitting the Irish Pub, Sushi place, steakhouse or kabab joint, fine dining... or just fill up on the bottomless popcorn.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mike L.Los Angeles, CA07Dec 29, 2023
The one good thing this outdated theater had going for it was the included popcorn. Now that they got rid of that, there is no reason to choose this theater with older non-reclining seats and worn cushions over other relatively close options with nicer seats.
To management: the popcorn costs you pennies and it being included in the ticket set you apart. Bring it back, or at least upgrade your seats.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 17, 2023
We don't often go to the theater for a movie and when we do we usually purchase our tickets online ahead of time. But, we happened to be in Denver and needed to kill some time before heading to the airport. We went into the Landmark to purchase tickets onsite and the employee working was so kind. He showed us the layout of the movie theater, explaining where the screen was, where you walked in and what rows people typically liked to sit in. He suggested roe C because there was a rail in front you could put your feet on so that's what we picked. Also, no additional fees because we purchased our tickets right there! We did not purchase any food or drink but I saw the fountain drinks were self serve which is nice because you can get your ice to drink ratio just right and I assume you can get refills. Only downside was no toilet paper in the bathroom stall when I went.

Landmark Theater is one of my favorite movie theaters to visit. There is plenty of parking in the parking ramp that is right next to the theater. There is also a bunch of restaurants and bars right there if you want to do a whole date night.
The theaters themselves are some of the cleanest I have ever been in, and the staff is friendly and polite.
They do not have late showings (that I have seen) so 7:00-7:30PM is about the latest showtime available. They also close concessions/bar about 15 minutes after the last show starts.
Overall The Landmark is a great place to catch a flick and unwind.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - H. A.Denver, CO01951Aug 18, 2023
Pros:
Theaters are small, the sound isn't overwhelming and the temperature is comfortable
Cons:
Entire space is outdated and very worn, seats are uncomfortable and a few are completely broken, popcorn is stale (we didn't need or want any other items from the concessions stand)
Overall: it just isn't as nice as it used to be and it doesn't seem like it would take much to get it to be awesome again before they let it run all the way into the ground.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 16, 2022
Had a great evening at this theater tucked away with other restaurants and bars surrounding for guaranteed fun night out. The chairs were so comfortable and and each kind of rock so not your average stiff theater chair.
This was a smaller theater (maybe5-6 screens) so less crowds! Parking is ample and they also have a butter your own popcorn station. That seemed to be a hit with the group lol.
Will definitely make a trip back to this theatre!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 11, 2023
This is a nice movie theater! It only has a handful of screens, yet the lobby area is spacious and welcoming, with concessions and seating areas before the theater doors. We also discovered that they have discounts on certain days, so definitely check those out! Also, it was clean, which is nice.

What a disappointment, especially after years of consistently positive experiences here. Initially, I opted for 2 premium seats, considering the ease of access with fewer steps for my elderly mother, who, while not wheelchair-bound, faces mobility challenges. Surprisingly, there's no senior discount; in fact, those seats cost $1 more for individuals aged 65 and above. Upon reaching our seats, we were dismayed to find them notably uncomfortable, lacking reclining features, and only marginally wider.
To add to the frustration, the elimination of complimentary popcorn and soda was disheartening, necessitating an additional $10 expenditure. This issue seems more pervasive within the movie theater industry, excluding exceptions. Lastly, the online ticket purchase incurred a non-refundable $5 service fee, further contributing to the sense of being nickel-and-dimed.
Having been a patron of this theater for an extended period, the current trend of additional charges has led me to consider exploring alternatives, such as Alamo, where the overall experience aligns better with customer expectations.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jul 3, 2022
Settled on The Landmark to see Top Gun: Maverick as it was one of the cheapest options closest to us.
The Landmark is located in a great area, but can also be quite crowded. We watched a movie on the same night that a comedy club was doing a show and wow the place was crazy.
We didn't get around to the concessions, but it looked like they had a full bar and soft drinks, popcorn and snacks.
The theater itself was, ultimately, outdated. Some of the seat cushions were falling apart, there's hardly any room from one row to the next and there seemed to be no air conditioning. I brought a jacket because theaters are usually kept cold, but it was actually a bit warm.
As for upkeep and cleanliness, it cold use some tender love and care. Walking to our seats our shoes were sticking and there was some trash on the floor.
All in all, the place did the trick. We sat, watched a movie and enjoyed it. As for another movie night, I'd probably pick a different theater.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
