Wonderful store, very helpful with baby registries and has some of the nicest staff around. Ask any questions and they'll find the answer. A few staff members don't know as much as others but they'll always get you the answer in a friendly way.
Good location and parking lot available (even a few spots for expecting mother's)
Wonderful, high quality items for gifts.
COME ON! I guess you need to have a credit line into the millions to shop here. I saw a kids toy that I bought for $5 at target for $35!
Yes everything is cute and the staff is nice but that is a hell of a mark up. a 18 month old doesn't need a gucci label - he just needs a a pair of pants. At least that is my opinion.
Like everyone else said, they have great stuff . . . but I had to write a review based on the customer service I received.
We registered for a car seat at the big ol' horrible baby store that everyone's heard of but happened to be closer to Land of Nod one weekend so we went there to buy it instead. While trying to install the car seat, we realized that the base had an issue--it was defective. I still had the receipt but no box. We'd had so many issues with returns from other stores and I was unsure of how this would work. I mean, we're not talking about a $30 blanket . . . this is a pricey car seat.
I called and talked to an assistant manager. She was extremely nice and put a new base on order, no questions asked. When I called back to ask another question a day later, I talked to another manager who told me to just bring everything in so they could exchange it completely since time was of the essence (baby on the way and he needs a seat!).
We brought everything in and everyone knew about us and our new seat was already on hold for us. We were out of there in no time. It seems so minor but I have been to so many baby stores throughout these 9 months and I have never been treated as nicely. They helped us quickly and with nothing but smiles. Sadly enough, you just don't get that very often.
I have driven past this place many times and finally went with a friend who was visiting and rarin' to go to baby stores.
It's pricey, yadda yadda yadda, but the stuff is pretty cute and tasteful.
Plus you can park in the lot and go to Container Store & Crate & Barrel too.
This places makes me want to reproduce!
They have the cutest personalized wall art and wall height measuring things (not sure what the official name is...)!!!
They also have a whole chef section, with old-school diner tables, faux sushi set, chef's hat, spice racks, and many, many more for the future yelper!
Definitely check this place out if you're baby/child shopping!
Looking at adorable things makes shopping so enjoyable!
This mostly has to do with customer service. Though I did think everything they had was pretty cute.
I went there today to look at some bedding for a friend who is pregnant in California. She can only use the website as a guide so she asked me if I could go check out some things as far as matching and what not.
I went in today. It was a kinda busy Sunday afternoon. There were folks outside testing strollers and the store was kinda busy.
I went to look at the linens my friend wanted me to check out and this girl, Teela, came and helped me.
I told her what I was doing and she was really helpful. I told her about my friend so she was aware that I was only there to compare shades of pink and not buy anything. It didn't phase her.
She checked in back for something they didn't have on the floor and when they didn't have the item or swatches of the item she actually called the warehouse to see if I could have swatches sent to me! Unfortunately they didnt make swatches for what I wanted but still. A lot of times I'd expect "oh we dont have it, sorry" and that would have been cool. But I feel like she really went out of her way to help me. It was refreshing.
Kudos to Teela and excellent customer serivce. Should I ever have a baby I might go back just for the service even though the prices were pretty high for me.
My family were visiting from overseas and they could not resisit this place.
My future son is spoiled with a huge amount of gifts from this store.
The packaging is sooo cute and their selections are quite unusual and special.
I am excited that he gets to read, and wear goodies from Land of Nod.
The name is too cute in itself!
I love this place! They have very expensive baby & children's furniture and accessories, but its one of those things that sometimes you need to have! They're the only place that sells the Orbit stroller system (other than online) that I fell in love with the moment one of the employees gave me a demo. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about all their equipment. They have alot of things you can't find in your typical Babies R Us, but definitely expect to splurge!
Super cute stuff that is actually very reasonably priced . . . we figured this out after we shopped around at other children's shops in the area. Sure you can get a crib at Toys-R-Us for $100 but if you are looking for something that is of decent quality . . .Land of Nod is a better choice.
This is a very cute children's store. I recently went here to look for things for a friend who just had a baby and it's all very very cute.
Awww- it's adorable. A children's furniture/toy store with classic appeal.
