Tried this for the first time last night. I had been wanting to try it since my 24 LIFT instructor Selena recommended it.

I thought all the flavors were fresh and not artifical tasting. The staff is friendly, the environment is nice and the place is clean. I even discovered I got 10% off when I looked at my receipt.

I came here with my fiance and mother and my mom was saying how she was too full from dinner for yogurt, she ended up getting double the amount that me and my fiance got. I'm glad I found another yogurt place to add to my rotation. I just hope they go with some adventurous flavors like Taro every now and again.

Where did my previous review go?  Don't delete or treat this as a negative review - it's a wake up call from a customer that has probably purchased more fro-yo's than any other single customer or family that you have.  I was a fan and would like to be again.

Notice that the previous review was from July when things were busy and life was good.  I work out across from this place at 24 hour fitness and so I keep an eye on what is going or not going on.

Rated G for Gross.  I hate to do this and will be glad to lift the sanction if and when things improve.

I have eaten here at least 30 times.  The place is bright and colorful and the yogurt was good .... for a while then the recession kicked in big time and the initial crowd of customers visiting this newly remodeled place began to dwindle.  The flat screen TVs are off most of the time - to me it didn't add much and is a waste of power.  The keyboards have been unplugged from the two mac computers - supposedly due to skateboard dudes hanging out and not buying anything - OK fair enough but is that 24hrs a day?  Can't you leave the keyboards and just ask the skateboard kids to leave if they have not bought anything?  Isn't it better to have a few freeloaders in the place instead of it being totally empty?

Hours were rolled back from an impressive 11p to 10pm.  The fruit was a little sketchy from time to time got really sketchy.  I'm afraid to eat it because it gets reserved over and over.  Then the yogurt got gross - the very same flavors I liked tasted weird or were semi-liquid as if it is not being chilled enough in the backroom.

BTW, no way is anything in here even close to organic!

Also, there seems to be a lot of turn over in the staff. Preston is good and so are/were other staff members but others are lazy and aloof like they don't know you are there.

Recommendations:
1. cut back on the flavors by 1/2.  You will save power and money and the customer will get something that tastes fresh.

2. do the same with the fruit.  Use a shallow tray and don't fill it so much and then have it go to waste.  Eat all left over fruit each night yourself to use it up and substitute fruit you would buy for home.  If you are reluctant to eat any or all of your fruit throw it out - don't pawn it off on the customer - again fewer choices and cut less and increase the turn over  to keep it fresh.

I would rather have 2 fresh choices as opposed to 12 stale ones! Same with the yogurt flavors.

Not surprisingly this place is almost empty now which is too bad - this strip mall could use some entertainment.  I wish this business the best but then need to trim inventory and get better turnaround on the stock they do carry.

As noted in previous reviews by other users, this place is a bit more on the expensive side for self-serve yogurt, but good nonetheless.

Although, with all these yogurt places popping up left and right, it's hard to tell them part these days.

But if I were to say one good thing about this place, it would be the pairing of cookies and cream with mint chocolate; a very favorite combo indeed.

This place is by far the coolest fro yo place ever. Very cool setup they have inside. The tables and seating are very unique and they even have 2 computers setup for public internet use. Free WiFi as well.
They have over 50 toppings and always have an variety of different yogurts and tarts as well.

WOW! What an amazing yogurt shop! First of all, this place has great tasting, fresh yogurt with a huge selection of not just yogurt, but toppings (fruit, chocolate and candy pieces, cereal, sauces [chocolate, lemon, strawberry, etc]) as well. They allow you to grab some tiny sample cups to taste whatever you'd like so you get exactly what you want. Select a cup, get your stuff, pay by the weight of the contents, 39 cents per ounce, TOTALLY CHEAP! The small cups are HUGE too!

Next up, the service was A++. I've been here twice in the last week, and both times, Tuan, one of the owners, was extremely helpful; my mom and I didn't know what we were doing at first (it's harder than it looks to decide!!), but he explained everything and even went into detail about the history of yogurt and how they are going to do some great additions to the shop (they already have WiFi and movie nights every Friday, and Twan informed us they will be adding coffee and some computers for customers to use). He was such a nice and helpful guy.

This place is brand new, so everything is really clean and vibrant; the colored chairs, TV screens, and music allow for a kick back atmosphere to hang out with your friends and family. I will DEFINITELY be coming back, and I will spread the word to my friends and family about the awesome yogurt and impeccable service.  :)

I went to L'amour de yogurt because my friend wanted to try it out. When I first came to the place, I was astonished by the ambiance of the place. It was warm and inviting. In addition, there were flat screen tvs and some great music playing. The store is adorned with vibrant and bold graphics/colors. This yogurt shop went above and beyond to attract a customer's eye (as you can tell by their designs). The decor of the place screams contemporary and modern.
At first it was difficult to find the cups, but they are around the corner. They have many flavors, which are "organic" (according to one of their cashiers). Their toppings were neatly organized and in plain sight. Their yogurt is nothing but delicious and yummy. I definitely recommend coming here to hang out to snack on some delicious yogurt.

Great fro yo place.  The staff is super nice and they don't mind if you take multiple samples.  They have somewhere between 10 and 20 different flavors of yogurt so you're bound to find something you like.  I like the cake batter, peanut butter, and pistachio.  Definitely will be back.

Stopped by after my bf saw them on the news. We live sooo close but we've never seen it. They have a lot of flavors and toppings. Everything is delicious and I must say it is a little expensive in comparison to others. If I was going to pay that much, I'd much rather go to Pinkberry. Nothing can beat the coconut and passion fruit swirl there. AMAZING! Nevertheless, I'll still go to L'amore because it's so close and the best in the area!

Mandy T. is tripping, this is my favorite frozen yogurt place.  Unlike other yogurt places that pretty much want you to grab your yogurt and go, L'amour wants you to hang out at their place.

First and most importantly, the yogurt is good, and there are 16 flavors, I haven't been to another yogurt place with that many.  There are mad toppings here, pretty much anything you might want to put on your yogurt to make it delicious.

The real cool thing about this place though is that they have a bunch of board games and stuff for customers to enjoy and the WiFi and computers they supply is a big bonus.

If you want some really tasty yogurt and hang out, this is the place to be.

Nice yogurt shop in a sea of other yogurt shops. I think this one is local to San Diego, not a chain or anything (but I'm not sure). The yogurt itself is worth about three & a half stars. It's decent. Not the best I've ever had, not the worst. I had the pb & chocolate swirled together. The yogurt was creamier than at other shops, which I like a lot. The price is a bit high (39 cents an ounce), so that's why I just couldn't give the yogurt alone 4 stars. What pushes the rating up is that the guy working behind the counter was super friendly! He told us to try all the flavors if we wanted, and they have plentiful sample cups (so we could!) He also suggested a yogurt when we walked in (pomegranate, pretty yummy!) and was up front about the pricing. I really appreciate service like that, especially since it's practically non-existent at many other places (especially yogurt places). We'll go back someday I'm sure. I like patronizing places that employ friendly people. They've earned my business :).

This place is awesome!!!  I work out at the 24 Hour Fitness and saw that they were opened last Saturday and was giving out free yogurt all day!  It was awesome!  My favorite flavor has to be the cake batter and I think I remember it's non-fat as well, sooo that's a plus!  I told my church group about this place and we went back on Sunday to check it out and decided that we're going to have meetings there from now on, being productive and eating healthy.  On top of that the service there is really good.  I mean they're a self serve, but everyone there is willing to help out ...... like Barney from the show "How I Met Your Mother" always says...--- "Wait for it........................AWESOME"  This place is Awesome!
