every single time i come home to visit lapeer, i must go here. i grew up with this place. just went in on christmas eve to order my staple "pita chips" and "bloody mary".... thank you for not changing the pita chips - tasty as always... but i could have done without the nasty pickle in my drink (what happened to the ocra you used to garnish with?). i loooove pickles, even prefer them in my bloody mary over a useless celery stalk...but this pickle should have been disposed of long ago. it was rancid. so was the one in my sister's drink. i'll always come back tho. no matter what. i miss the old decor. lapeer east & west news clippings...articles about my ol' neigbor jake long making it big...jerseys on the wall & autographs of home town heros... all the old memorbillia that reminded me of my roots & why good ol' lovely lapper will always hold a special place in my heart. i'm so glad that little place on the lake is always open when i need them most. love you lake inn. keep on keepin on.

Super casual, lots of fun. Had lunch here last week - it was very quiet. I've been in other times where it has been loud and crazy due to a sporting event on one of the many TV's.
I like the atmosphere much more now that the Michigan smoking ban has been in effect - the smoking section was not separated enough to avoid the smoke & the stink.
The view of Lake Nepessing is very pretty.
One of my favorites is their chicken & chips. The chicken strips are marinated before they're breaded & fried. The French dip sandwich is another favorite. We split a BBQ chicken quesadilla appetizer, which was absolutely fantastic. -

Great casual dining. Have taken many friends and everyone has tried something different and no one has anything but great food. Started serving desserts and everyone raved about how awesome they are.

Fish and Chips, average to slightly above. French Fries were good, lightly seasoned. Onion rings average plus. No complaints.
Cool view of a Lake. Not fancy, Bar atmosphere.
Onion Soup was good. Loaded with gooey cheese.
Pizza I saw on other tables looked really good.
Meals around $12 -

Lake Inn has great food-- a good staff-- & an ok atmosphere.
It's clean, but has not been remodled/finished in what looks like 20 years!
If you can get past the esthetics, the food really is awesome! I like the fish & chips, coconut shrimp, pita chips & french onion soup! Not all at once though!!!!!!! -

Restaurant by day, bar by night.
Kid friendly by day, definately not by night.
Always great food, good prices, a fabulous view.
They have sports memorabilia on the wall all around = sports bar; being on the Lake helps too.
I've been there several times and would go again anytime. 4 stars.
