STOP BEING ON YELP AND GO TO THIS PLACE RIGHT NOW. I'M AFFIRMING THAT IT IS AMAZING. ITS SO GOOD SRSLY WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GO GO GO.
I made a profile legit just to review this place. I've been obsessed for about a year now. It is often pretty empty, so I bring in everyone I know because I'm TERRIFIED they'll close down. It's clean, even the bathrooms, and the food is sooooo gooooooooooooooooood.
I've had every kabab here and they're all delicious. My favorite is the lamb with chicken as a close second. Adana is good, but it comes down to preference whether you like your lamb minced or cubed on a stick. The kabab platters come with a delicious salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and a very light dressing. I'm pretty sure there is a bit of mint and parsley in the salad. The platter also comes with delicious always perfectly cooked brown rice. Lastly there is a cucumber yogurt mixture which is perfect for dipping your lamb or chicken in. Mmmm. The salmon kabab is very good, however they leave some of the skin on and I'm just not a fan of that fishy flavor so I pull it off. Takes 30 seconds, no biggy. All kabab plates come with 2 skewers of meat. $10.95 for chicken and lamb, and a bit more for the salmon.. 14.95 i think.
The pizzas are also great. I'm convinced they put a dash of cumin or something of the sort in their crust. Very thin crusts with fresh ingredients. I've yet to try the desserts because I've been so full from my meal. They have a couple of choices Baklava and one other that I don't remember right now. I also have never tried the ceasar salad because usually i order a kabab plate which comes with a house salad. I will try it next time.
It's usually the same lady (the owner I think) who is always working there, occasionally there is a younger girl (her daughter maybe?) Both are suuuuper nice and helpful.
The ONLY complaint I have about this place is that usually they have Turkish TV blasting pretty loud. I know it probably gets boring when it's empty, but it'd be nice when customers come in to switch off the TV and put on some music instead. They're so nice though if it bothers you you can just ask her to change it and I'm sure she'd be happy to oblige.
I live in Oregon for school part of the year and I craaaave this place. I tried to make my own kababs but it wasn't quite the same. I get this for lunch or dinner every time I go back home. If i could afford to I would eat it every single day. I'm hoping I win the lottery just so I can hire the cook from this place to be my own personal chef.
This place is worth a try for worldly pizza lovers even though it appears empty. The Turkish pizzas come with or without mozzarella. However, you can have lamb, tomatoes and other toppings to complement the baked dough.
Parking is ample in this strip mall and service is decent. It would be helpful for the staff to recommend popular dishes.
I went with a friend and he ordered the Salmon kabob and I had a chicken kabob which was DELICIOUS. The chicken was sooo tender, juicy , flavorful, it was cooked to perfection... He enjoyed his kabob too.
The servings are enormous (one entree can feed two) so we had left overs....
I will definitely go back for more.
If I wanted pizza that tasted like dirt was on top I'd go back to my childhood and make a mud pie.
This was my second visit today. Met a friend for lunch. Everything was tasty, came out of the kitchen piping hot and in a timely manner. We shared a Greek salad which was good - not the best ever but solid. It wasn't all cucumbers which I detest...a nice blend of all the ingredients but the dressing was just ok.
Then, we shared their Mediterranean pizza...that was very good I must say! The dough was doughy but still had a crispy crust. And all the ingredients were full of flavor and seemed fresh. I live about 5 minutes away so I'll definitely plan on returning with my other half in tow! The service was out of the way but very courteous and friendly.
The quality it high. The service is very friendly.
The Greek salad is always fresh and flavorful.
The bread they serve is always baked to order and tastes great when dipped in olive oil with a little salt. But it is so truly fresh that you can even eat the bread plain and enjoy it.
The adana lamb plate or wrap is perfectly seasoned and addicting for those who love lamb.
As others feel, we just hope this place catches on because it really is a jewel around here.
Very casual place looks like a bar from the outside I wouldn't have gone in for dinner if it were not for the raving reviews on yelp. Yummy the food was excellent I had the lamb kabobs with rice and a great salad and my significant other had their famous Lahmacun pizza which was soooo good (I stole a bite or two lol). I have been to Turkey twice and the food was very authentic and fresh great value for money and very close to home so I will go back. 5+ stars for quality, freshness and price of the food
3.5 stars, but rounding up cause it's a cute mom and pop shop. The lady at the counter was very sweet and patient. Surprisingly completely empty during the lunch hour.
I got the chicken kebabs and my friend got the veggie pizza. They have a good assortment of veggie entree's which is why I chose this place. The food was yummy and prepared fresh - we both enjoyed our meals and with the generous portions, packed half for later.
Chicken can usually be so dry and tasteless, but the kebabs were yummy. I'd like to try the salmon next time. FYI for all you lamb lubbers, lots of it on the menu.
Not a complaint, but I'd probably close the door since the restaurant was really chilly and I'd probably turn down the TV volume a tad. It's distracting especially when I can't understand what is being said.
If you want to know what lahmacun (turkish thin pizza) should taste like. Go have some at this place. The cook is from Turkey, particularly from a region famous for its lahmacun making. Their pide's are also excellent. Make sure to try "kusbasi pide".
I knocked one star off because their service is so so and the other items in their menu are mediocre.
Delicious food! The hummus and chicken skewers were especially delish, and the homemade baklava was to-die-for.
The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the Lahmacun itself (it's like a pizza), just because there wasn't a whole lot going on with it. The rest of the food was spectacular, though.
I'll definitely be back soon.
I super love this place!! We've been again several times now and the quality is always amazing! I wish it weren't so hidden... people should know more about Lahmacun's lamb shish kabobs!!
See ya there!

Thanks to Yelp and tonight's Mediterranean craving... my boyfriend and I found Lahmacun Pizzeria and… Read more »
Excited by the idea of a Turkish restaurant AND pizzeria, I stopped by Lahmacun. It was empty but then it's on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood in a run down looking shopping center. It's a large, casual space with TVs, open kitchen, wood tables, and paintings of a relaxing Mediterranean seaside scene.
* Peymacun ($3.50) - a very thin crust small pizza topped with mozzarella, feta and fresh parsley. The crust is chewy (I expected it to be crispy given its thinness). It needed a little something extra and it should also be eaten fresh out of the oven. It was good, not great. Also it was salty but you'd expect that due to the generous amount of feta used.
* House salad ($3.50) - I expected a side salad for this price. It was large enough to feed a family. The simple salad included romaine, tomato wedges, red onions, cucumbers and fresh parsley with oil & vinegar. The tomatoes weren't ripe.
* Chicken wrap ($6.95) - It was supposed to be served in lavash but I received a tortilla instead. Very strange. Perhaps they ran out of lavash? The marinated chicken cubes were skewered and grilled. The wrap was very long (over 12 inches) and it included plenty of lettuce, tomatoes (not ripe), fresh parsley and tahini. The big, juicy chicken cubes were delicious but otherwise there was too much lettuce and the tortilla was plain weird. If they were out of lavash, they should have said so.
The menu includes traditional Italian pizzas, Mediterranean grill plates, appetizers, soups, salads, Karadeniz pides, wraps, wine and beer.
I'm still puzzled and bothered by the absence of lavash and the tortilla substitution.
WOW!
I LOVED their food! Very nice prices for very yummy food.
It's a small place, and it seems they dont have much business because they are off the beaten path, or kind of hidden...but, I wish more people knew about it. I'd love to help them have more business because its so tasty.
They sell Salmon Creek wine, which is delish.
Their food is fresh, and I LOVE their lentil soup, and their lahmucan pizzas...well, its sort of pizza, but not called pizza...its something else but I dont remember the name.
The appetizers are yummy, and we've been there several times already.
If you like mediterranean food, this is a good place to be :-)
5 stars for three reasons: 1) welcoming and cozy dining atmosphere 2) locally owned and kindly people 3) diverse menu with many options that are tasty
Is it the best food I have ever had? no. Is it the most innovative or original food that I have ever had? no.
What it is however, is solid food without fuss. Perhaps as the other reviewers mentioned, that they didn't have the best quality of ingredients at the time they dined, but that isn't consistent with every time they go? I am not sure. When i went today all my ingredients were fresh and the tomatoes in season.
I do know I will return in the future, and that I had a very agreeable and enjoyable lunch where I don't feel bloated or bogged down with the food that I have eaten. I am positive when I go in the future it will be the same happy feeling.
I had the House Salad, Stuffed Pastry appetizer and the Karadeniz Pide vegetarian style.
The House Salad was super generous and lovely! I got it sans onions, and the salad dressing that was on it really was super super tasty. Light and refreshing I think that everyone who goes to eat at this place should have this ordered as something to be enjoyed with all the other flavors.
The Stuffed Pastry was full of fresh Feta that was melted while it baked and had some mozzarella too I think - it was very delicious and exactly as described - pastry dough with cheese.
I think I could have easily just eaten the House Salad and that appetizer or ordered a Peymacun and been super thrilled. However I also ordered the Karadeniz Pide and was delight to discover a new meal.
I'd never eaten something like that before - and the dough is very different from pizza dough - its more like a cross between a pastry dough and maybe naan? no tomato sauce but just lots of lovely fresh mozzarella and feta with your goodies you order on top of it. I enjoyed it so much, I'm very excited to discover something new.
I strongly think that the resident's of redwood city should consider supporting this establishment. Its so nice to have places like this to retreat to for a meal - have it be tasty, solid no-nonsense food that really satisfies.
I definitely left satisfied, and I will return many times to enjoy their menu.
After living in Turkey for several years and recently returning to the Bay Area, I've been trying to find good Turkish food in the hood. Lahmacun is run by a Turkish family, so you know you're not going to get some generic, bland "Mediterranean food." My husband and I ordered lahmacun, which is pretty close to the lahmacun you would get in Turkey, except the meat has garlic mixed in with it. If you don't know, lahmacun is a kind of thin flatbread that is baked with a thin coating of lamb on top. It's tasty. We also ordered pide, which could be described as Turkish pizza, and it was delicious. Again, the lamb mixture had more garlic in it that we ever would have tasted in Istanbul, but it was still good. We'll definitely be going back to try more on the menu!
This is the best Turkish place I've been in the Bay Area -- it's not much to look at, tucked away in a strip mall you would miss if you weren't actively looking for it, but it delivers, especially with the Lahmacun (pronounced LAH-muhjoon).
The kebabs are good and the portions plentiful. Their appetizer combo is huge and tasty. And the Lahmacun is great, crispy and thin.
Definitely worth seeking out even if a bit off the beaten track.
Good service, and good food, although it was a bit salty.
Yeah so when you do a search for "Pizza" Near "San Mateo" on Yelp this place comes up as #1. Hmm. Okay - I mean I know of Greek places (cf Waterfront in Foster City) who front as a pizza place and do... other ...things.
Well they fooled me...okay not really but the Yelp reviews convinced me to try the pide which are these doughy pastry things filled with various meats and veggies from the Black Sea region. I dragged my friend who works nearby. We started with the peymacun (Mozzarella Cheese, Feta Cheese & Fresh Parsley) which was really excellent and a huge portion for $3.50. I had the Kiymali Pide (minced lamb) and he had the Kusbasi (lamb cubes w/ veggies) - both were very intestering and very tasty. Flavors I'd say i'm not used to presented on this thin, luscious tasting dough. I'm sure it's not the healthiest but it's nice to try something different.
You can get kabobs, wraps and the kind of pizza you're probably used to here but those pides are good and worth the trip for. I will be going back here to try some more things here. This is quite a find in this little mall that you won't find unless you're looking for it or take a wrong turn off El Camino.
The place is set up pretty basically with a TV up in the corner showing the day's offering of Turkish shows. A bar is to the right of the counter offering wine and beer. Plenty of tables. At 1:15pm it was nearly empty - a few tables were taken up by some folks who were probably themselves Turkish.
I look forward to my next visit.
Near the house, not too expensive, people are nice and friendly.
Pizza- Good, nothing too special, but reliable... any pizza is good pizza imo.
Shish Kabob- Awesome... like seriously awesome. As good or better than ones I've had in Iraq/Kuwait
On the list of places I'd go again by choice.
I feel like a dick but... it just wasn't THAT great. I had the Lahmacun and the pide and don't get me wrong, it was good but it didnt live up to the expectations that come with a 4 1/2 star place on yelp.
Alhanas and Good Bites impressed me despite the hype, but this place didn't.
Maybe I don't know enough about Turkish food (and trust me, I do appreciate that there is a Turkish place around) but the non-pizza food reminded me of the ingredients used to make regular pizza, especially in the pide.
I'll be back though, maybe I just didnt order the right things... Any recommendations?
I like this place a lot.
Mostly I like the owners and their superior service... They're very sweet, accommodating and happy to suggest/alter/fix whatever you could need or want. Sadly, this place seems to be empty most of the time, so I feel compelled to usher folks in their direction. Their version of pizza is tasty, and pretty much any breaded product on the menu is guaranteed deliciousness. There are picture menus if you are unsure with descriptions alone. Their house salad dressing is also very good. You can easily fill up on a salad and appetizer, but I do suggest trying more items on the menu...
Like my current relationship, I went in to Lahmacun Pizzeria with low expectations.
Pete & I met the night before our friends' wedding. He was a groomsman and I was a bridesmaid. What followed is a little cloudy but instant attraction + Jack Daniel's = half naked couple on the tennis court. I chalked it up to a wedding fling. The day of the wedding, while very hungover and a little mortified, I found out more. And he wasn't really my type. And I wasn't his. And we lived 1,500 miles apart. For whatever reason, we exchanged numbers. Realistically, I had very low-expectations of it going anywhere. A week later, he booked his first flight to see me. 5 years later, we are tying the knot.
Though I didn't get drunk before indulging in Lahmacun Pizzeria, I was a little high (on painkillers). I let Pete pick the place, so I immediately wasn't expecting much. (He would get a McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese every night of the week if it was up to him.) When we pulled up, it was in a quiet, residential area, and wasn't much to look at. It looked like a pizza parlor, nothing special. Plus, it was empty when we arrived. The menu had quite a few choices, and I let Pete do the ordering because I wasn't in the mood for anything particular.
He ordered Hummus and Peymacun to start. The bread that came with the hummus (thicker than pita, not sure what it's called) was warm, thick, and slightly crispy, and delicious dipped in the hummus. The hummus had a nice texture to it, and wasn't oily or extra lemony, as I have found at a few places in the area. The Peymacun (one of their specials) is a thin crust pizza with mozzarella & feta Cheese with fresh parsley. Pete nearly finished it off before I had a bite, but what he did save for me was great. We split a plate of shish kabob, which was also great. There were two skewers of lamb on a bed of rice with a side of salad. The rice was really flavorful and the salad was simple but very good (just lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and oil I think). We both left very pleasantly surprised at how good our meal was. Not surprisingly, when I checked yelp later, I saw that it had a 4 star rating. And that is well deserved!
Both Pete & Lahmacun make me happy, taste yummy, and are highly recommended. But since I am not in the mood to share Pete, I will share my love of Lahmacun with you instead. Go!
(Note: painkillers are not required to enjoy this restaurant)
In an absolutely uninteresting spot we find a quirky restaurant where they served us an amazing hummus, simple but really fresh and tasty salads and beautiful Mediterranean pizzas and Lahmacun. We'll be back, soon!!
Stopped by here for lunch. They've got an interesting menu (as you can probably tell from the name of the restaurant). We shared the hummus appetizer (pairs nicely with the bread) and I had the shish kebab. Everything was nicely prepared (the lamb was quite moist), but a bit on the salty side for my taste. Would probably give it another chance.
Take out review: Wow! A wrap from Lahmacun is freakin HUGE AND LONG! I'm talkin like 15 inches long! The lamb wrap is stuffed full of lettuce, slightly runny tahini sauce, and grilled cubes of lamb. The lamb itself was a bit tough, but yummy!
I also got the hummus appetizer to go. However, when I got home, there was no pita supplied to compliment the hummus! Damn I was so craving hummus and pita..however, the hummus is not finely pureed and I really dig the slight chunkiness of it! It's not overrun by lemon juice either...bet it would taste wonderful w/ pita..damn!
I didn't even know about this place and was about to head over to Mediterranean Delite (d'oh closed on Sunday) and instead found Lahmacun. It's literally a 5 min walk for me..but I dont want to walk my ass back for pita bread. I'll just head over to the grocery store and pick up some anyhow....
I'd definitely be back..but next time, will check to make sure the pita was included!

Ohhhhh the Lahmacun is delicious! The bread is crisp, the tomato sauce is tart, but the ground lamb is soooooooooo tasty! A steal at $3.50!!!!!
The adana lamb plate is out of this world! The lamb has a fantastic sear but super duper tender with a mixture of spices...so freakin awesome! Their homemade bread is like crack - it's soooo good!
I'm really sad to see this place not picking up on business primarily b/c of it's off the beaten path location..but I pray it will, b/c this restau is definitely worth trying
"Do you want Turkish Pizza or Sushi?"
And so began our adventure to Lahmacun...
I live in the city and my former roommate down on the Peninsula, we needed a midpoint meet-up spot for dinner. Yelp suggested this place, we tried it, and we're happy we did! It's nothing special on the atmosphere front (stuck away in a small strip mall with rickety wood furniture and a computer screen with rotating food images next to the plastic menus), but the price is right and the pizza is delicious. They had Stella on tap, and unusual toppings that added just the right elements to the gooey cheese and chewy crust. Is there better food? Of course. But at this price, for something a bit different, with a friendly vibe and satisfying faire, this place is a great option.
Driven by the place many times, but didn't even know it was there. Decided to stop in with wife for dinner.
The place is located at a out of way strip mall. However, there's plenty of parking so that is a plus. The place was pretty empty so plenty of space for us.
Fried calamari was good, but I thought it needed more salt/flavor to give it the kick that I normally like. I've always been drawn to salt.
The kabobs were good. I enjoyed them, but my wife felt they were too dry. I agree, however, I also like my meat well done while she likes it rare. So, we have opposite taste buds.
She looked at the other table and checked out their pizza and she wanted to try it the next time we go back. I am not a pizza man (not a big cheese eater), so she'll check that out next time.
Friendly staff. I always like mom and pop places.
Went there for dinner the other night and had a mix of things. You can get Turkish food, regular pizza, and an inbetween thing called a pide. The dough was made fresh and it was delicious. We started out with a mixed appetizer, which came with a yogurt salad, a greek salad, 3 stuffed grape leaves, a roasted eggplant appetizer (not baba gannouj, it wasn't blended up, it was chunky) some hummus and some fantastic bread. I had the chicken kabobs, which were very good, perhaps a little overcooked. The rice pilaf they came with was plentiful, and pretty good, but not great. The salad that came with the kabobs occupied half of the plate, and it was not very good. Not wilted, just not flavorful after all that other great food. I tried the cheese pizza, which was salty, but very good. The crust was fantastic.
The restaurant was started by a family from Turkey, and recognizing that most of us have never had Turkish food before, have a flat screen with a slide show of all of their dishes, which was great. It's not a "dress up" place, just a bunch of tables in a darkish sort of room with a number of TVs playing Turkish programs and sports, but I'd give it high recommendations for just going in and grabbing some good food, no matter what you are wearing.
If this is the best Turkish place in the Bay Area, then I'm very glad I'm hopping on plane in 3 weeks and traveling 7,000 miles to another destination where I've had pide, especially kusbasi and kimayli that is just out of this world...hmm, but since the stratosphere is significantly more than 7,000 miles away, I guess I would technically still be on this planet while savoring the other pide I speak of...but I digress.
The dough is quite good and their version of the western pizza is definitely a notch above thanks to the inclusion of this key ingredient. However, their pide was sadly lacking. My kusbasi had a small sprinkling of meat and LOTS of herbs, mostly parsley. While it wasn't overpowering, it definitely was not the balance in taste I was looking for. Also the kymali's lamb did not have any flavor besides too much tomato sauce.
So two stars for the food and one star for the service. Go here for the western pizza and if you are so inclined, to try the pide, knowing that you're palate for Turkish pizza will be whetted but not satiated to the point of bliss.
My co-worker was hankering for some pizza and since we'd exhausted most of the options nearby, we went looking for a new joint. We had earlier passed a place called Vik's Family Restaurant on the outskirts of San Mateo, which we remembered had pizza amongst other things and decided to give it a try. Well Vik's no longer exists but something else sprouted up in it's place.
Enter Lahmacun. It was a nice day today and before even getting in halfway through the door we decided to take the table right outside the entrance. So I have to say I didn't really get much on the place's ambiance.
They still carry pizza and also a host of other goodies. After perusing the menu, there were a dozen things we wanted to try and it was very hard to narrow down. So we went with the spread of the following:
Lahmacun - Turkish flat bread with minced lamb, mint, onions, and pine kernels
Mixed Grill - Chicken, Lamb, & Adana Kebabs
Kofte - Charbroiled lamb meat balls
Racho Romano Pizza - Pepperoni, meatballs, eggplant, mozzarella and ranch sauce
Now I know this was a big spread but we were hungry. To top it all off the owners gave us hummus, cacick., and eggplant salad on the house with bread. Ok, now we were pushing out limits. Everything was super tasty. What impressed me the most were how moist and flavorful the lamb, kofte and adana came out. There's still a number of things I'd like to try like the chicken wings, salmon kebab, wraps, and a bunch of stuff I have no idea what they are:
Peymacun, Karadeniz, Kiymali, Kusbasi, Peynirli, Sucuklu, and Cikolatini. Phew. Someone tell me what these things are! What I did find was the family was Turkish/Kurdish from our waitress, who seemed to be the daughter. Anyways, plenty of things for me to go back and try, cause we're definitely returning. 4.5 stars
Update on 9/12/08-they have raised their prices. No longer a bargain but not too expensive either.
I'm surprised that this place is not busier. I think it might be the location and the decor (looks like a pizza parlor). The food is good and the prices are reasonable although I've noticed they did increase their prices a little bit.
I've had the hummus, dolmas, eggplant salad, stuffed pastry (one of my favorites), kebab grill, and the pizza. The most expensive individual item is the mixed grill kebab for $14.50. Otherwise, most of the prices are under $10. My friend had the lahmacun and veggie wrap. It was so much food that she ended up eating the lahmacun and only a bite of the veggie wrap and took it home.
My only complaint is that it did take a bit long to get the pizza.
munching down lahmacun, peymacun, and clam pizza while watching turkish super lig action featuring the fenerbahce on tv is priceless.
Definitely very tasty. And they should NOT be in this little strip mall---but I guess rent is high everywhere else?
If you like a little spice and good Mediterranean food I would definitely recommend the trip down the little Pacific Ave to this place. We split some kofte (meatballs) which were more like little hamburgers, and then we had some of the kebab platters. MMmmm... Good food makes me happy!
As a side note: I had leftovers so I reheated them in a wok with high heat, breaking up the meat into little chunks, and adding in a little diced tomato. May I say that this was one of the tastiest leftover meals I've had!
Times visited: 1
Yeah, we found a great Turkish place in walking distance to our new digs...And it is NOT ONLY Turkish - I never thought I would find a place with Dolmas and Buffalo Wings.
Agreed family owned and operated. The decor is very pizzeria-esque however the murals on the walls are of Turkey. Their hummus was awesome, nutty and fresh. We had the Turkish pizza (Sucuklu and Kusbasi - Karadeniz Pide) and it was truly authentic. I cannot wait to go back and try their gourmet pizzas with names I can actually pronounce and understand (Ultimate BBQ Chicken and the Rancho Ramano.) The crust is fresh and homemade.
The night we were there we were the only dine-in guests - they appeared to do a good take-out business.
They DO NOT have outdoor seating as advertised.
This man is actually an acquaintence of my dad's so we have gone a few times with the family. Great "Lahmajoun's" and always "tazeh" which means fresh. They are a tad pricy if I remember like 3 something per lahmajoun? Anyway in my opinion if that is the case, it's too pricey for that but they are good nonetheless. That's what most people go there for anyway. Why they call Lahmajoun a pizza I can't quite get for the life of me lol.. It is FAR from a pizza. It's more like a lightweight tortilla if anything with meat pasted on it if you ask me. So I never understood why it's referred to as pizza. But definitely worth a try if you are in the area. They are GOOD! = )
This is actually my first taste of Turkish food. I'm a huge fan of Mediterranean food, so the dishes are quite similar just different names. This place used to be Aldo's Pizza and they still have the pizza oven. I've never tried their pizzas but everything else is exceptional. The Lahmacun and Peymacun are the the house specialties, but I think their giant wraps are. The pide is the closest thing to an actual pizza which are very good. The owners are extremely friendly.
Although surrounded by laundry-mats and 711's and 1960's style yellow apartments, super good food. The greatest eats are always a hidden treasure. Baklava was off the hook!
my girlfriend would give it 5 stars for its calzone!! She could not stop talking about the crust of the calzone being SOOO good... I had the falafel... not amazing, but very good, the pita could of been alittle softer... that is why the 4 stars and not the 5. Other than that parking is great, no crowd, no wait, friendly staff....
we'll be coming back and this time to try their pizza!! good vegi options too.
For someone who has been in Europe several times and has been eating almost most Greek and Turkish restaurants in Bay Area, I can say that their food is one of the best and most autentic mediterranean food.
The amount of food and taste you get for what you pay is incredible.
Great hospitable family run business. It makes you feel like you are at your home eating home made meal.
I would recommend it.
