The complex is quiet and peaceful and the neighborhood is the same.  The staff were very friendly and helpful.  However, the rent is ridiculously high.  We were paying $1300+/mon plus utilities, and they increased the rent each year.  They did a poor job maintaining their sprinklers and their outdoor lights.  They either need to put more lights or just replace them more often.

If Yelp has allowed, I would have given 0 star, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

These are the 2 main reasons I hate this place so much:

1) You have to pay so much:

1.1) rent & security deposit are both high
1.2) water & garbage
1.3) they make you buy renter's insurance
1.4) there is no separate hot water meter for your unit, the hot water bill is split among everybody in the same building, wow, so if you work out at work during lunch and take a shower there, and your neighbors stay home all the time, you're screwed?! Damn right! AND..., they only tell you this right before you sign the lease.

2) Maintenance is HORRIBLE: with that kind of money you have to pay, you'd think the property would be really well maintained right?! WRONG!!!

2.1) Both phone jacks were broken when i first moved in, and after numerous phone calls and waiting for a week, I still ended up it using my own 'fix equipment plan' with Pac Bell to get that fixed.

2.2) No HOT WATER or even NO WATER from time to time, they have scheduled water outage too many times, which is still something I could live with coz it is usually during work hours when I am not home. But there was one time they shut down the water completely when they fixed the hot water boiler, until people complained so much, that they decided to turn the water back on and continue the work the next day.
