I love LaGondola.. This place has been around since I was little.. Great spaghetti, the gondola's are wonderful.. Pretty much everything from there is amazing.. I'm only giving 4 stars because of the staff.. Most of them act like they have a chip on their shoulder or you're inconveniencing them because you're ordering..

TERRIBLE food. Microwaved pasta. Cheap garlic bread. Tasteless pizza with overabundance of fake cheese and unripe veggies, and flavorless pepperoni. Unfriendly staff. When I nicely asked if there was a mask mandate in Illinios, staff very rudely said, "Yes, but law enforcement doesn't enforce the rules." I said that I noticed no one on the restaurant staff were wearing masks, and he said, "Yeah, we don't abide by the mask mandate rule because law enforcement isn't enforcing it." I wonder how it would feel if one of these staff members kills a little kid by giving them COVID?

I'm a big fan of the La Gondola chain and since this one is the closest to me I order from there a lot. The quality of the food is good & I'm always happy with the way everything tastes. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because of the staff & the decor inside. The staff are never rude but they certainly aren't friendly & act like me picking up my order is a bother to them. The inside is just a mess, like other reviews have said it's dusty, run down, and just a mess. I highly recommend getting your food to go!

I am a big fan of the La Gondola chain, but this one needs to be shut down.

It is a nasty old building in poor condition. The fence in the weed infested parking lot hasn't been painted in twenty years. Dive dive dive. And not Ina good way. Dusty plastic plants hang from the ceiling and broken video games from the mid 80's take up floor space.

Even the glass my water came in was old and appeared to be purchased from a garage sale.

If the food was up to par, I would give this place three stars, but even the pizza bread was not the same quality as other LaGondolas. Two tiny pieces of thin cheese that didn't even cover the sauce. Horrible don't go here.

Outdated dining area. Good restaurant for to to go orders.

A Creve Coeur favorite! The torpedos still taste awesome after all these years. I really miss the shark over the entrance from when I was a child, but as long as the food tastes as great, we're coming back! (We carry out from here every time we visit the area.) LOVE the bread.

This review is only because they gave a great discount for a great cause. I came down to Washington Illinois in order to continue the help that they need after recovering from such terrible tornado devastation.

I did not know from where these sandwiches were made, but after I had to ask from whence they came. I felt I needed to put this on yelp.

This place made wonderful sandwiches for great people doing extraordinary things. When I heard they gave an extreme discount for the sandwiches, I am extremely grateful.

We had over 100 people coming in to continue the helping of the recovery for Washington, Illinois. This place came through with flying colors.

I am not giving them only kudos for what they did but for the great quality of sandwich they gave us with The trademark name torpedo sandwiches.
      The sandwiches were awesome.

I did not pay one cent for the sandwiches but I will pay many many times more what they have in their price tag because they did it for volunteers.

It's good. I was hungry. My dad has been coming here for 3 decades, and it is still good. Delicious bread and sandwiches.

The food would get 5 stars but the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. This was my first visit and also a carryout order. The girl who took my order over the phone was very rude and even more so upon my arrival to pick up my order. I was astonished.

We have been regulars here for years. The last two orders we placed here have been wrong and tonight was the last time we will ever return. The cashier messed up our order and we had to return to get it fixed. She refused to give us a refund stating that the manager would have to take care of it in the morning. I asked her to call the manager as this was unacceptable. She did so in a huff grabbing the phone and charging into the back. When she returned she did give us the refund as requested but was discourteous to us and never offered any semblance of apology. I refused the food she was supposed to give us in the first place. Her demeanor (and the dirty bag in which it was presented) made me question the sanitation of the food inside. I told her that we would not be back and that her attitude was partly to blame. Her response was to put me on the phone with the manager. At first she seemed apologetic but was irate when I again refused the food for fear of "additional ingredients." At the same time we we were complaining about our order another customer was waiting behind us to complain about his pizza that was also messed up. I passed the phone to him and left. Very poorly handled by both the cashier and manager in my opinion.
