I use to go to La Fourno fairly often when I lived on south st but I never had there pizza. There food is always pretty solid ( above average for sure) but the pizza is one of the best I have had in the city. When you go, get pizza! The crust is paper thin and delicate just the way I like it.
Sit in the back of the restaurant. It gets hot up near the wood burning brick ovens. The owner Al is very friendly guy and his employees love working with him and it shows. The whole staff is friendly.
