Organic fertilizer for a natural green lawn the kids can play in? Head to Lafayette Florist. No need to go to the big box, do it all, home improvement center.
There are so many things to love about this place and its staff. Firstly, they know their stuff. The staff is knowledgeable despite looking like they just graduated from high school. I bring in pest infested leaves and they can diagnose and recommend good organic (and non-organic) solutions. They have a big greenhouse that's well stocked with plants, planters and pots. All that and a very cool indoor water feature with fish, various water plants, bridges and cool lighting schemes - my kids love it. Its so nice to be able to support the (big) little guy these days and not feel like the selection is lacking or the prices inflated.

A wonderful place to visit and buy flowers. They also have beautiful gift ideas in there gift shop. I like this place because it is owned and run by local people. Everyone in there is so helpful..
A very beautifully maintained gardening store. Their indoor water features covered with delicate green things growing makes you feel like you've wandered into a fairytale. With a wide selection of perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables and house plants it was easy to find several excellent selections to take home. Prices are clearly marked based on container size and are competitive with other nurseries, while the quality is far superior.
