The food here is only average.  I wouldn't say it's great.  But the portion is very small so be prepared to order a lot if you do a la carte.

The service was a little bit above average although my waitress was nice.  They were just a little bit inattentive at time.  Given the place is not busy but... there were lack of staffs or something.

I had the Salmon loin, I think it was okie.  It wasn't seasoned very well but it's not too bad.

The fresh mussels were pretty good though.

I was trying not to eat too much bad food so I ordered sauteed mushroom with garlic.  But it was a mistake.  Don't do that.  The mushroom was not cooked very well and it seemed like it wasn't done correctly so you can't really taste anything.   I wouldn't recommend that.

I don't think I would go back but it's good to know what it is like.

With a location like this, I was hoping for so much more with the food. The restaurant itself is really cute, with outside dining options overlooking the water.

If you decide you really want sangria, definitely go for the white. The red sangria was so bad I didn't even finish the glass, the white however was tasty!

The food itself was very blah. Some over seasoned, some under. Nothing really stood out as something I would want to have again. With all the dining options in the area I would try somewhere else before visiting here again.

I think I'm spoiled by the tapas options in Boston, because La Tasca really didn't do anything for me.  I went there this week for a buffet style party, and none of the food really wowed me, despite the fact that I'd been working all day and was hungry for real food.  And the sangria was probably the worst I've had anywhere.

If any tapas loving marylanders are ever in Boston, hit up Tasca (no La!) and you will be happy you did :)

even though my husband and i cringe every time we say "tapas", this joint was pretty fabulous. allergy to bobby flay, and the much-bandied about term tapas, notwithstanding, we managed to eat loads of different items, have a nice time, and share some really good food with my in-laws and our toddler.

who knew 3 year olds dug paella so much?

highlights:
the white sangria. absolutely crisp, light, and refreshing. the chunks of peaches made it all the better!
the manchego cheese/tomato combo. just.freaking.good.
pan-seared tuna la plancha, etc. quite possibly the single juiciest, most luscious piece of fish i have ever had the joy to experience.

i found the paella to be a bit...smooshy, but that's okay, as everything else was damned delicious.

Oooh lawd. The tapas came out oily, overdone or oversalted so the overall quality was just eh.

What's going for this place: *spectacular* views of the harbor, the a la fresca dining, the tufta (truffle) dessert and the sangria blanca with fresh sliced peaches on the bottom.

We came hungry and left full, but our stomachs weren't in the best shape afterward. Service was attentive, though less so when it got more busy. Our waitress apologized in advance though, so we thought that was considerate.

We'll try another tapas place next time.

Drink sangria, eat tapas, feel good...

THE UP-SIDE:
Fantastic view of the Inner Harbor, great food and twelve kinds of Sangria.

THE DOWN-SIDE:
Was a little slow.

THE SUM-IT-UP:
If you're looking for great food with an even better view, try La Tasca!

The food was good, but not good enough to offset the horrible service.

After being served our food, we were pretty much on our own.  We only got silverware after I kindly asked twice and then waited for five minutes.  The waiter did not visit our table once during the half hour that we spent eating.  My water was never refilled.

The food was good.  The menu was definitely vegetarian friendly, which I can appreciate.  My fiancee and I would have ordered another round of tapas if we could have gotten a hold of the waiter.

Yes, the view is beautiful and the food is good, but the service is unacceptable.
