An absolute blast of a golf course! La Rinconada is the private club located in the hills of Los Gatos.
The new clubhouse is big and beautiful, looking over the first tee box. The course is a little shorter than others, but is still very challenging. The fairways are lined with trees, the greens are tiny little targets, and those tiny greens are surrounded by big bunkers.
Their signature hole is #14. A downhill par four with a lake and huge bunker to the front and left of the green. This hole is so gorgeous, it has been used as the cover for NCGA Magazine.
Overall, a great place to play. Thanks to my friends at La Rinconada!

I had the pleasure of dining here at my boyfriend's work Christmas party. We were in a back room that had a view of the golf course (couldn't see a whole lot since it was dark when we got there). Very comfy, nice club. The food was excellent -- we had a salmon and steak dish, practically melted in my mouth. I didn't have the alcohol because i was DD but they had an open bar (wine and beer only) and everyone was pleasantly inebriated within a couple of hours.
I used the bathroom in the locker room. They have an awesome locker room.
Great Golf Course - awesome Pro Shop Staff - and a fantastic dining room team....
All 5-stars in my book!!!

Christmas...we usually do Christmas(not the actual day) here with the In-laws. They have a Santa Clause and the kids can take pictures. We have a nice dinner and drinks. However long the tots can handle. The service is great. I had a great Thanksgiving here as well with all the family and it went well last year. My boys did ok and the staff was friendly.
I haven't played golf here but have been here for private events. The new clubhouse is beautiful, it overlooks the course. There is a big fireplace with warm inviting chairs. The food is very good. There is a nice selection on the menu.
