The beds here are really comfortable. I really mean that. I spent two nights here. The rooms are pretty well insulated from other patrons movements and noises because I didn't hear anything. I also think they take dogs because I saw someone walking up stairs with their dog to their room. Always a plus for me.
The continental breakfast could have been something to be desired. I went to Denny's right around the corner every morning. Overall I would stay here again. I probably will have to with out question since it was work related and I didn't have a choice in the first place.

La Quinta is normally my favorite chain for "budget" accommodations. After all, they have free wireless internet in the rooms, free breakfast each morning, they're pet friendly, and you can usually get a king bed room for around $50 a night. It's the perfect choice when you need something cheap.
This location, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Management doesn't run a tight ship here, as evidenced by last night's shenanigans. We were on the back side of the hotel, where apparently all the thugs hang out and conduct their drug deals. Until 3:30 am, people were coming and going, blaring ghetto rap, peeling out tires, and being general nuisances. It really sucked, as we were super tired from driving for 7 hours.
Now, this could have been a one-off situation, but I'm not taking my chances! Won't be returning here.
Sure, it's a bit absurd to rate a two-star hotel with max stars, yet for ease, accessibility, comfort, cleanliness, free wifi in the rooms, a good breakfast in the lobby sitting-room area, we were very pleased with our stay. Finding a good deal on Priceline didn't hurt any a bit, either. We'd stay here again. A nice quiet room, who could tell we were just off I-80?
big king bed. Nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good in the morning. Room in good shape and clean. Decent area in Sacramento so you don't really have to worry too much about getting your car stolen. Good stop off of I-80. Weekday rates are kind of expensive can surpass $110.
