I made a reservation for this place.. for my Sacramento, Yosemite, lake tahoe 4th of july trip. I ended up only going to Lake Tahoe.

I first arrived around 4pm... after a long 6 hrs drive from Los Angeles. The place loosk nice from the outside.. 5 stories building across from marriott. and US hwy 50. very convenient.

Check in was a breeze.. although they made me sign some paper about pet policy... which is fine.. I stayed on the 5th floor over looking the Brookfield's restaurant.

I stayed here for 2 nights... the first night aroudn 7:30 or 8pm.. teh front desk called me. Not sure why.. but i answered.. and they asked me if i had left my dog unattended??? i was like?? no.. he's with me right now.

and the front desk person then said.. oh ok.. no apology or anything for disturbing me..

after i hung up.. i was wondering why they didn't check first what type of dog.. do they just called every dog owner that declared they have a dog with them???

but other than that  it's ok..  the 2nd day was good.. they came to fix my troubled toilet.. it was fixed and done before i got back from Lake Tahoe.. which was very nice of them.. considering that was 4th of july...

one bad thing about t..?? well there are not too many electrical outlet.. i had to figure things out where to plug my laptop, my cell phone to charge and my battery for my camera...

i wish they would just have an extension cord or extra outlet... so i don't have to go all the way to the bathroom sink to plug my stuff into.

overall.. i will come back again.. love the berakfast area... food was limited.. but good enough...

Good place to stay for business travel.

I stayed here for a business meeting and it's a little bit better than other La Quinta's I've stayed for business.  I little bit far from the Capitol, but most of the state agencies are near the area, so it's the perfect place to stay if you're not dealing with the politicians.

The rooms were pretty big, enough to run around with my clothes off, and the bed was very comfortable.  Slept like a baby on the comfortable bed, specially it was hot during my visit.  My room had a refrigerator, microwave and other amenities to feel at home.

The lobby looked great for a La Quinta Inn, new decor, nice furnitures and very clean.  Breakfast room was spacious, but had few selections on the food.  The hotel is near a restaurant and a convenient store to walk to for drink and late night snack.  The location of the hotel is perfect too, right off the 50 fwy on Sunset exit.

So if you're here for business or visiting relatives, the hotel has a lot of amenities to make you feel at home.

Great place to stay. Was able to get a restful night's sleep here after watching outrigger canoe racing in Lake Natoma.

Everything looked and felt really clean. I like the touches they made in the bathroom. (i.e. replacing the regular shower rod with an extended shower rod so you don't feel so claustrophobic as well as the towels that seemed really plush and fluffy)

This place is right off of highway 50 and I didn't hear the cars on the highway once.

Best part about this place was the continental breakfast that comes with the room. SUCH a great deal!

Will definitely head back hear again for when I have races out in Lake Natoma.
