I went into three different rooms when I was here and they all smelled like smoke. The fan in the bathroom makes my face want to vomit. Their 'continental' breakfast consists of tasteless coffee and crap.
the front desk people are friendly. and give you a credit of $20 cash for a cab ride (since they don't have a shuttle). so that was nice.
We asked for a non-smoking room, but got a smoking one with a poolside view. Now, poolside view is usually a good thing except that the pool sat naked along the freeway and an old guy in only daisy dukes was sunbathing about five feet from our window. The front was desk flexible enough to move us to a non-smoking room away from the freeway, but the location was noisy in general, and the lobby smelled like an ash tray. The continental breakfast consisted of packaged pastries from Otis Spunkmeyer, which was not bad. After all, it was Otis Spunkmeyer. In the afternoon they served freshly baked Spunkmeyer cookies. Yummy. There's a Hooters in the same parking lot, but otherwise, there's nothing in the area but road and freeway.
