Only open for dinner and rarely busy, La Piazza is a neighborhood gem.

I've eaten here a handful of times and have always had the same waiter and been greeted by the same woman.  It is a comfortable and very friendly environment.  Perfect for a date.

The food is very good, well priced and the portions are large.  I always order the special and have been impressed by the quality and cost every time.  On my most recent visit I had beef tenderloin with gorgonzola sauce.  The portion of tenderloin was enormous, probably a 12 ounce filet or bigger, and it was fork tender.  I'm not saying that it would replace JaK's for steak, but it was pretty damn good.

Whenever I want to go out to Italian food but just can't make up my mind where to go, La Piazza is the default spot.  You should give it a try because its pretty great.

I love this place we probably go a few times a month!! I really like there bruschetta for an appetizer and yes it's garlicy (but not all of there stuff is loaded with garlic just the stuff that should be) and just about any main dish that I have had has been wonderful.. There chicken parmigana is amazing!! The lamb special with dijon is fabulous as well... Try it I know you will love it too but don't tell too many people I don't want it to get so busy I have to wait!!!

What we had for dinner: antipasto misto, bruschetta, minestrone, insalata del caesare, ravioli puttanesca, pollo pizziaola, and about 25 cloves of raw minced garlic over the entire meal. Lucky this wasn't a first date - I wouldn't even expect to make it to first base because of the stink!
If you love that intense and pungent burning sensation, then make sure to stop by La Piazza. Order anything you like, I'm sure every dish is prepared the same way: combine 1 cup of stuff, 2 tbsp of things, a dash of this and that in a pan. Cook thoroughly. Pour over pasta. Add 1 lb. raw garlic and serve immediately.

The service was top-notch, though.

If you are looking for delicious, authentic Italian food, this is one of the best spots in Seattle.

Everything is homemade from the bread served with olive oil and balsamic to the Minestrone soup and Caesar salad dressing.

The antipasto plate is heaven!

The pasta is always great. I've had the Ravioli and the seafood pasta. They also have several specials every night.

This is a little neighborhood restaurant, but even if you don't live in the neighborhood...you should check it out. I love it.

this place is so good.  i was looking for a good italian place in town that wasnt crazy expensive.
most of the menu is under $25, i think, and its so yummy.  the bread comes with oil+balsamic vinegar, which pleases me.
the space is really nice if not a bit crowded. it has that neighborhood feeling and the waitstaff is always really friendly and helpful.
the ravioli is SO good and so is their seafood. i usually get their salmon linguine, which has a really light flavorful white sauce and fresh peas in it. AMAZING.

This place is so inviting from the outside, with the half window curtains and twinkling lights it just has such an authentic Italian flavor. That authenticity carries over on the inside and this popular neighborhood restaurant has wonderful pastas - I'm in love with the salmon fettucine - and pizzas my kids love.
