OUTSTANDING BUFFALO STAPLE.
**BEST PIZZA AND WINGS IN BUFFALO NY (?) Well worth the argument if there is one......
Three Cheese Steak Pizza. Grilled BBQ Wings. Extensive Menu.
Being a food fan as well as a fat daddy, I have been here more times than I can count. I guess the realization of La Nova's dominance came last weekend when I called on a Friday for a large order to take tailgaiting to a Buffalo Bills preseason game vs. the Bears. I had friends in from out of town and figured Buffalo Chicken Wings at a Bills game was a good way to kill two birds with one stone.
The women I spoke with was extremely cordial and suggested simply calling an hour ahead the day of for the best service. We ordered three buckets of wings (150) three different ways, a sheet pizza, and a large Steak and Cheese Pizza (one of their specialties). 140 bucks later I couldn't be happier.
The order was correct and perfectly cooked. A car full of hungry men drooled as we drove twenty minutes to the tailgate at the stadium. Outstanding! I was more than pleased and have never had a poor experience at La Nova.
Although La Nova charges a bit more than your corner pizza place - worth every penny. You pay for what you get.
Very consistent and extremely tasty, I am a big fan of this easy to get to La Nova location.
One Liner: Very nice BBQ Wings
Food: (scale of 0-4) 2.5
The pizza was ok. The hot wings were ok. The BBQ wings from the pit were much better. They may be the only thing worth eating. I filled myself up with those wings. I will definitely have those again.

Thanks for the BBQ wings, they were a solid 3 star in my book.
LOVE la novas pizza-- really cheesy, and the crust is so tasty!!!!
I know, La Nova is supposed to be great for their pizza and wings (which their BBQ wings are awesome), but I had their Greek salad the other night and it was hands down the best salad I ever ate. I know, salad, it sounds boring, but I'm 40ish and too much pizza isn't good for my waistline. So if you're in the mood for an alternative from the Buffalo traditional, give their salad a try. Anything is good there, really. My wife swears that their steak sub is the best in town!
Back when I was a big fat fatty (really, not all that long ago) I used to order from the Williamsville LaNova location for business working lunches...because I wanted to inhale a few slices of the bacon-cheeseburger pizza, paid for by mah boss. I've also enjoyed the chicken finger pizza (which I think is a Buffalo thing) and the Tomato/Basil pie. The pizzas are a bit on the pricey side, but they're pretty good and I think they are worth the extra cost, especially if they're paid for by the boss. The wings are tasty too, but you know - they are chicken wings...deep fried and tossed in butter and hot sauce. Not very good for you, if you're a big fat fatty.
The hilarious thing is that 4 out of 5 times, they totally fucked up my order and either delivered the wrong items or never showed up at all. Still, I laugh with sad amusement at my past self b/c I loved that pizza so much, I would keep on ordering, and cross my fingers hoping that the order would show up correctly and on time.
So, my suggestion is that if you want La Nova, get off your rear end and pick it up yourself.
This pizzeria is more "hype than bite".! The pizzas are dry, over priced and really not that great. Why people pay a premium price for an inferior product must be a Buffalo thing! The pizza here is nothing special and marginal to say the least.
The chicken wing sauce is out of this world but the actual chicken wings they use are minuscule compared to other pizzerias.
The most positive thing I can say is this location has safe parking as compared to their Buffalo location. Five Stars for the chicken wing sauce and 1 to 2 Stars for everything else. There are better places in the immediate area for pizzas.
If you think this is good pizza, you have never been outside of buffalo.
There is no better place for wings or pizza than LA NOVA. This Ricardo guy pops up and disses all good food known to man.
La Nova, well, is special. I will drive far for their plump, juicy wings and their Oh-So-Fine Pizza. Both locations are great. It's easier for me at this time to pick up in Williamsville however Ferry is no great stretch.
This is a class organization. I'm hoping thay eventually move out to the south towns. Whenever we host a party the major question is "Will it be La Nova?".
oh, reading these buffalo reviews is making me so hungry. here i sit at my desk in downtown manhattan, surrounded by arguably the world's best cuisine and all i want is a slice of la nova pizza and some wings.
my sister orders a pie every time she flies back to south beach, fl because her husband is so crazy about it!
people go to great lengths to fit this place into their "must have while in buffalo" schedule...somehow it always makes the cut for me!
