This is a nice place to enjoy cheap Mexican and partake in an excellent happy hour margarita. The Boulder location is nice and convenient.

My best La Mariposa experience, though, was at the Longmont location. I was dating a girl from Mexico who didn't have papers. The only nightclub we could get into was Mariposa, and I was the only white guy there. The band was rocking, and it was a night I'll never forget. Great music. Great food. Great company. Great time.

Dirty Mexican food at it's cheapest - I've had mixed results at La Mariposa. The deals are really screaming - when you can walk away from a decent sit-down experience barely having spent $10 you know you've gotten a good deal.
