      Fantastically professional with the most courteous, friendly, and positive administrative staff I could ask for. I just checked my vehicle in today for collision repair (liability), and they were more than happy to not only see me on short notice, but were very enthusiastic to get the job done as efficiently as possible since I am soon leaving the area.

      Job requested: driver's side mirror damage/destruction repair, plus mild bodywork/paint evaluation.

      Shop staff come across as genuine, honest, and direct. Despite having a ton of cars in their lot and obviously doing great business, they still took the time and effort to ensure that all of my questions and concerns were answered fully. I expect to pick up my car soon with everything looking great - would recommend this auto body shop to any one in the greater San Diego area!

      UPDATE: Job completed, looks amazing. This shop's customer service is impeccable. Paulette and Max run the desk and are super friendly, efficient, and very effective at their jobs. Appreciation for their desire to help solve my vehicle issues so quickly!

      Great to visit a business that has such a positive and proactive customer service attitude.

      I stopped by with a project that needed to be completed quickly.

      I talked with Max and he had a staff member start right then. They solved an issue that would have taken other shops day or weeks.

      I left with a huge smile on my face and feeling great about the professionals at La Jolla Autobody. Thank you.

      Place is amazing! My car is a salvaged title and I wasn't sure if it was totaled or not, but they were able to get my estimate for $500 less than the last place. They worked with USAA and were able to get everything worked out. Three days later I got my car back all nice and detailed in and out. Very good customer service as well. Kept in touch with me the whole time.

      USAA has the best recommendations.

      I am extremely disappointed in my recent experience because I have gotten repairs at this location 3-4 years ago with amazing results when another USAA member hit my vehicle. I returned there despite it being far from my house because I expected the same level of service that I received in the past.
      The initial exchange was great and Paulette was very helpful in updating me on estimated dates of completion. Until they received the wrong tire twice and delayed the completion date by 4 days, on top of the 14 days it had already taken. I did not have any particular issue with the length of repair since my rental car was covered by USAA. I was told it would be ready Monday morning, so I arrive to get it and not only are there still scratches and misaligned parts of the replaced parts, but it is exceptionally dirty. By this I mean that there was white residue not only in the bed of my truck, but inside the vehicle with very clear footprints on the seats. I was told to return another day for a detail. I do not think I should be told a vehicle is done until it is "customer ready".
      After leaving the shop I noticed that the final paperwork I was given had a discrepancy in mileage of 200 miles which concerned me so I went back Tuesday and was told I would get a call from Paulette to clarify. The conversation on the phone was the most unprofessional and disrespectful I have ever heard. Not only did she not even consider that it could be a problem, but she was condescending and told me "it's just a error on the paperwork" and that the pictures that her employees take of the odometer on intake had been deleted. I told her that I would need paperwork or pictures that showed that it was an error in input, not just her word.

      I picked up my truck the day of this conversation. Her employee (with the long hair), maybe Chris, was more than kind and provided me with all the copies of paperwork I requested and pointed out that they do not update odometer reading on the final paperwork from the estimate. I immediately realized the miscommunication and before he could continue, Paulette came in to repeat exactly what he had just said. I asked why she told me it was en error in the odometer input if she had other paperwork that would have easily clarified the situation to which she responded "Well you hear what you want to hear", I asked her to not be rude...which was followed by finger pointing and raising of her voice "you need to listen!".

      I do not appreciate being spoken to in this manner by anyone, much less someone I am conducting business with. Her employee was doing a wonderful job at clarifying the situation in a respectful manner with paperwork signed by both of us at drop off. I have no issue admitting that there was a miscommunication and settle the difference, but she decided to be consistently defensive. Unprofessional in returning a car that was not finished and also in customer service.

      Honest and nice.

      I dented one side of my car awhile back and recently began hearing a scraping sound when I went over dips. I brought my car in and the guy showed me where on the fender the scraping was happening, and then popped the dent out by hand a little, so that the scraping would stop. He told me that I shouldn't pay to fix the dent the rest of the way and even installed the new windshield wipers I'd been having trouble with. He didn't charge me anything.

      I cannot say enough good things about this place. I had a self inflicted damage to my bumper and did not want to go through insurance. Therefore, I was looking for an inexpensive fix. They were able to fix it for $130 and just a few hours. It looks better than I expected. They even gave me some extra paint for future use. I will only is la Jolla auto body from now on. They are honest, friendly, and trustworthy.

      Being raised by an auto mechanic and a hot rod enthusiast I've been to my share of auto body shops. I've also unfortunately been in a few fender benders myself overtime experiencing the highs and lows with various shops.

      This place while not pretty on the outside, sure makes up for it with top notch customer service, and quality work. Paulette handled my claim and took care of everything with my insurance carrier USAA from start to finish. She got me a rental car, followed up wtih me when she said she would, and kept her promise when the car would be finished.

      They even detailed my car which was a nice touch, and also Paulette pointed everything out with the car that was worked on, or replaced. Having a bran new Lexus I appreciated the thorough job. If I ever need to get any body work done again in the future, or need to recommend a place La jolla Auto Body gets 5 stars from me!

      I just brought my new Lexus GS 450h in for a bumper repair after someone hit my car in a parking lot. Paulette was friendly and helpful and remembered me from my first phone call and every time I came in. They had my car back in days, as promised. Very happy with the work and the service! Def recommend!

      I recently was in an accident and La Jolla Auto Body was recommended as a USAA Star Facility. They were awesome, fixed everything in a timely manner, and called me with updates as the car was being fixed. I highly recommend them.
