Do NOT mistake La Hacienda Hotel with La Hacienda Restaurant. Sure, they share the same property but that is it. They are owned and operated by different people and they are worlds apart. The restaurant sucks big balls but the hotel is awesome.
I stayed there for 2 nights for my sister's wedding. Our room was huge, with a fireplace, king-sized bed, sofa bed, refrigerator, dining table, and enormous bathroom. That worked out because my friend ended up staying with us so my boyfriend and I had the bed and she still got her own sofa bed! Plus when we were all getting ready for the wedding, there was plenty of room in the bathroom for all three of us to get ready at the same time. No fights!
The staff were really great and accomodating. I realized the morning of the wedding that I forgot to buy the box of Kleenex I had planned on buying, to bring up to the altar in case my sister started crying. I went to the front desk and they gladly gave me a brand new box.
The room was clean and well-stocked and the grounds were so nice, perfect for when you want to rent a chunk of rooms, like for a wedding. We had most of the rooms in the hotel so after the wedding we brought a keg back and had an impromptu after party in the pool area. We were out there drinking and making noise until about 3am and the staff were totally cool with it.
Our experience with the hotel was absolutely great. The only thing is they didn't let us bring our dogs so they had to go to the kennel.
I would recommend La Hacienda Hotel to anyone. Just don't go to the restaurant!!!!!!!!!!

La Hacienda is a good hotel if you want to come spend a quiet relaxing night or weekend. It's away from the busy downtown Los Gatos but still so close enough that it's not out of your way. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. They just remodeled so it has a more modern up to date look. The rates are very reasonable and the staff is super nice and friendly.
