Review from Johnny N.
Northridge, CA
I learned how to kick ass here. My trainer was Jerry and my sparring partner was Mike. This is a real gym, with real champions and real fighters. My little brother was knocked out by a girl and even the 3 year olds here can hit the speedbag like a pro. Don't come around here if you're simply boxing to lose weight. It's a great environment and the people are VERY FRIENDLY, sometimes even in the ring, too.
If you're looking for a serious gym, PLEASE SKIP THAT RETARDED "LA BOXING CLUB", and come here for real training at half the cost and maybe even "FREE". The people here are as genuine as your ever meet and the instruction is top-notch. Take your time and you'll become one of the best boxers ever. Review from Paul R.
Los Angeles, CA
If you've seen the Rocky films, you know what a real gym consists of. This is definitely one of them. There's no trendy music in the background, no girly men lounging around and talking with gloves on, and no tae-bo ripoff workout sessions going on. You come in, and you see everyone working. If they're not hitting something, they're either cornering their guy, catching their breath, or contemplating what drill to do next. This place was built on blood, sweat, and tears. And the best part? It's free. The only drawback is that it closes fairly early (5pm I believe), and if the sweat of other men disgust you, stay far away from this gym. And buy a gun or something. You pansy.

I may be a bit biased due to the fact that I train here, but I'm not alone when I say that this is a genuine, hole-in-the-wall gym that breeds champions. David, head trainer, is an awesome instructor that's happy to work with you. The club welcomes kids, which is very apparent due to the amount of bicycles outside the facility around 4pm. The pro boxers are the nicest guys and willing to help. This isn't a pansy LA Boxing type facility, awesome for motivated fighters.
