the outside sign reads restaurante y taqueria s........this place used to be called "talk of the town". it always looked empty. when i went in, there was only the server present. not even the bar was open. a young (cute looking) latino gent in a low cut revealing minidress smilingly took my azada burrito (4.50) order.

(korean grandma): he gay.

the menu had only tortas(4.50) tacos(1.50) and burritos (4.50) on the menu.

the burrito had many gristles, the rice was so so, the beans  ok.  the prepakaged chips were amazingly fresh. the server lovingly and meticulously packaged my order. he/she has such muscular slender legs!

i thanked the server, picked up a flyer and  looked at it.  the flyer announced la frontera's venue:
                         "el show travesti ...queens of the night".

now i know why this place is empty. straights have no cajones to come here. oh, the food is bad but that is beside the point.
