HOLY CREPE! How in the hell has this place been here for six(?) years and I haven't known about it?!?!?! Girlfriend told me about it, we got some crepes with nutella and FRESH strawberries. Was quick and soooooooooooooo goooooooooooood. I can't wait to try other flavors, am literally salivating thinking about it now. Hands down 10 times better than the place in Westlake.

4 stars for the savory crepe we ordered, and 2.5 for the sweet. The BF wanted a savory crepe, so he ordered the ham with a scrambled egg. It was so delicious and savory!
I wanted a sweet crepe, so I ordered the dark chocolate. I honestly thought it was overpriced. It's basically a soggy crepe with chocolate and raspberry sauces, some hazelnuts, and a small dollop of whipped cream. 6 bucks for this?? Gah!!
I'd return, but only for their savory crepes. -

Seasonal crepe (fig with chevre cheese) was so yummy. Sweet with a bit of fresh tartness from the cheese.
Dark chocolate crepe (with rasberry) was delicious as well. I like that it's moist but not dripping juice all over the place.
And off course nothing can go wrong with the warm standard banana choc nuttela on a dark winter nite.
I love the variety of the crepes in U Village better (or the 100 varieties of crepes in Tokyo Japan doehhh =P), but I think La Creperie Voila crepes taste better for the menu that they have. -

Mmmmm crepes! Whodda thunk that the pancakes french, eggy, and thinned out cousin would be so delish!
My first crepe experience (I know, I know, 32 and just having my first crepe experience...very crepey I know) was here at La Creperie Voila. Knowing that crepes are very delicate creatures, I was saving my crepe virginity for either some vintage crepe cart in France, or some place that seemed like they really knew what they were doing...and Voila! I found it!
Done in a very quick manner by a very friendly server, I wasn't even disappointed that I was in downtown Seattle and not France! The crepe itself was very well cooked and had a delicate egg flavor that wasn't distracting. I went for a sweet crepe but am very interested in savory crepes. I am definitely a fan of this lovely spot. -

Ok I thought this place made good crepes. I got the Baked apple. Yum yum yum. Apples, Swiss cheese, abd Maple syrup can't go wrong.
Lady was very cool, very nice. And at a great location, right outisde the convention center, and across from Cheesecake Factory.
Everyone that stays in the Hotels in the area or is shopping in the area give it a try you'll like it. -

Amazing crepe delivered side street. It was my first and won't be my last. Goat cheese, spinach and roasted red peppers was delish! Thanks, La Creperie Viola for my first trip to Seattle memorable.

Oooooh, this place is pretty great. Pretty sure for the first month after discovering it, I was getting the strawberry nutella like it was my 9th food group. I have diversified since and tried the Normandy and the spinach savoury crepe. Definitely a greatt alternative if you're craving a delicious snack but don't want to go the fast food route.

Delicious! Had the Normandy (baked apples and caramel with almonds). It is an outside walk up counter, but plenty of room to take it inside and eat in the food court.

You can't beat this place for convenience, hours and quality ingredients. They have very friendly people working the counter, too! Their heart is in the right place, but, unfortunately, the crepe is just not that good.
I had the Salmon Lox crepe with egg and then got it a second time with the addition of Gruyere. With the swiss cheese added in was definitely the better way to go. My friend had the chicken crepe and liked it well enough. Another friend had the ratatouille and loved it.
I also sampled the Strawberry & Nutella (delicious! fresh strawberries!) and the Normandy.
The crepes themselves don't feel like they're cooked for long enough. They end up sort of elastic and tasteless. Even when i asked that they cook the crepe a little longer than usual, it came out exactly the same, no crispiness to the edge and no real substance or flavor to the wrap. I really wanted to love this place because i am a crepe FANANTIC, but I just didn't. It was passable when you need something on the go and i appreciate that they use fresh ingredients. -
Review from Langdon A.
New Haven, CT
I found the crepes here decidedly mediocre. The ham and cheese in particular was a rather clumsy effort - the ham too thick, the cheese bland, and the crepes themselves seemed too spongy (on that last point, admittedly I got them boxed and had a 7-8 minute walk back to my hotel room, which contributed to this). Frankly somewhat disappointing from a creperie.
Two things though push up its rating: first, the prices are quite good so that you can get two crepes for about $12 (if you're like me and like to get a savory and a sweet). Second, the service was quite friendly. But the food itself certainly underwhelmed. -
Review from Lilly A.
After a somewhat disastrous experience at the cheesecake factory, we turned down dessert there and my boyfriend got me to go over to his favourite crepe place. Its right across the street from cheesecake factory, and I'm glad we passed on dessert to come here.
After a long time debating what we wanted for our crepe, we got one of the specialty dessert crepes. It was perfect for that moment... and just so happened to be filled with bananas and vanilla ice cream. yum yum yum
Although apparently they have Nutella ice cream (tear... oh my goodness).
I'd love to come back here and try some of their savory crepes, but it seems that they do not use the traditional crepe batter for those ones, which is truly disappointing... I lived in Nantes, FR during college and was hoping to find a place that might sport the similar batter.
Onward to find another crepe shop!... and then come back here for dessert. -

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I work just blocks from here and noticed it when walking by to Subway. Brought the girlfriend back because she loves crepes and I think we have found a new spot. Super fast, fresh fruit, can't be beat!

Conveniently located outside of the convention center. Great variety and great to-go options. Either they wrap it for you (kind of like a burrito), or you can take it in a small box.
Friendly employees. I had to wait a little while for my food, but it was the morning rush and there was a convention going on...so I really shouldn't complain.
Solid place. -

We are just visiting the city for a convention and started craving some dessert. We came across this place and it looked delicious!!!
We ordered the strawberry crepe and the nutella with banana crepe. It was yummy! It is a good amount that they give you and just melts in your mouth!
After we have finished ordering, we didn't realize they had homemade/local ice cream as well. They had a tiny assortment of nutella, french vanilla, and banana.
I am definitely going back to taste that banana ice cream :) -

Next to going up to Vancouver fro crepes, this place is the best next thing!
Located under the Washington State Convention Center's glass bridge in downtown, it gets very busy, so order quick if you're the only one standing in front of the counter.
Don't assume people are lined up to order, they could most likely be waiting for their food instead. There were a couple times that I was glared at for interrupting the girls' behind the counter conversations.
I usually order the smoked salmon, dill, creme fraiche, and scrambled egg. If you feel like more of a heartier breakfast, add an extra egg (the egg is scrambled and spread VERY thin on the crepe). I have also ordered the chocolate and strawberry crepes, not bad. -

Tasty crepes, friendly service - what's not to like?
I've been eating here on and off for years, when I happen to be in the area - it's by far the tastiest of the food options in the convention center proper. I've never had an unfriendly experience with the folks behind the counter, either - they've been cheerful and willing to strike up random conversations as they cook your crepe.
It's not cheap, but I've never felt cheated by what I got there, either. I'm sure I'll be back next time I'm in the neighborhood. -
Review from Justin M.
Neat little shop in a convenient location.
Oh the joy of crepes. Pancakes that went on a serious diet, but decided to dress itself in thick toppings. The food here is good. At least as good as crepes can get. But a part of me feels this place has a bit of an identity crisis.
While good, honestly a stand should not be serving crepes at such high a price. I understand compensating for large conventions, but on a regular basis, you're better off going someplace else. -
Review from Peggy R.
I just started working at a downtown hospital, and was looking for something yummy to eat. I had no idea that my stomach would take me to the Convention Center (a place I'd never been before today). I looked on the map they provided, and found a little slice of heaven in a streetside stand - shining like a bright beacon of hope, there was La Creperie Voila.
The lady working there was super sweet with a great smile. She was so helpful and accomodating. A lady came up and didn't know what Nutella was, so she gave her a taste of the spread of the Gods! In addition, she gave me a taste of the Nutella ice cream, and it was just enough to leave me wanting more.
Oh, did I forget to mention that they have crepes, pastries, AND ice cream. Yessiree, Bob - this place was a little slice of lunchtime heaven served with a side of YUM!
Anyway, I digress - I ordered the ham and swiss crepe, which was everything I could ever want in a crepe! The crepe itself was light and flavorful, the swiss cheese was delightfully melted, and the ham was succulent and flavorful. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without the spinach. She asked me if I would like it wrap style, and I said, "heck yeah, wrap it up, I'll take it!" I took a bite and instantly fell in love! I don't know what's in the white sauce they used, but it tasted excellent. I made a promise that I would come back again, and I plan to keep that promise over and over again!
Seriously, folks - give this place a try - it's fun, fruity and flavorful. -

I feel like Anthony Bourdain at this place -- hungry for more!
I was at the Convention Center for PAX and did not really want to have a strange burrito or Subway, but decided that walking huge distances to find a tasty 'nom' wasn't really in the books either... My husband did a quick yelp search of nearby places, but before he could finish I spotted this gem beside one of the many food lines during the lunch-ish hour(s). After reading the menu on the wall we thought it would be worth the wait, checked the reviews and it still looked promising so we didn't jump out of line in search of something else and I'm really glad we didn't leave despite the time it took to get up to order the food.
The service was incredibly friendly and helpful, not frazzled at all by the hordes of people (I would have been!). We ordered 2 savory crepes both as is, and honestly we prefer gruyere to Swiss so we probably would have liked them even more if we "upgraded"/substituted the cheese for 50 cents or whatever the fee was to do that. I also have quite the sweet tooth and the dark chocolate crepe with raspberry sounded fantastic, but I was worried we may accidentally get whipped cream (I would have ordered mine without) in all of the madness so we just ordered a lemon sweet crepe as our dessert to share. We had our savory crepes wrapped to be hand held just in case we couldn't find a place to sit and they were crispy, flavorful, well-seasoned, etc. It was recommended that we put the lemon crepe in a box so it would stay warm but unfortunately it got soggy rather quickly; despite its sogginess, it did pack a lot of flavor and made me think that those other sweet crepes I was eyeballing in the menu probably would have been wonderful!!
Like I said, this place makes me hungry for more... I'd definitely go back here if I'm within walking distance to the convention center. I'm probably going to need to search other crepe places now b/c of the hunger this place has awoken for me though ;) -

We'd always been meaning to try this place (as we have a lot of crepe fans in the family) and we found it was a perfect place to grab a fast dinner before a show at the Paramount (BTW, parking in the Convention Center lot for only $7 was a great deal too). They offer a good variety of crepes (Sweet and Savory) and they are lovingly prepared by hand carefully - just like we remember from the street vendors in France. Don't be in a rush - relax and watch the artist at work. Service was great - for a busy street side - they made each person feel welcome. The other thing we didn't know was that you can grab your food and eat just inside at the Convention Center - there were plenty of tables for us to sit at.

La Creperie Voila broke my crepe cherry. And just like other firsts, I'm probably not the best judge of whether this lived up to the hype of OMG CREPES.
It was a freezing January afternoon, and the choices in the Convention Center just didn't cut it for me. How convenient is this location? The idea of a hot cheesy savory crepe was too good to pass up, so we waited in the cold for 15 minutes for this treat. I got the ham and cheese, which had spinach in it too I think, and white sauce. It was very good, but oddly rich, so I couldn't finish it. I could kill a ham and cheese sandwich, so I'm not sure what the deal is here.
My best friend in the world (read: anyone that brings me food) brought me a sweet crepe with chocolate and bananas later in the week, and it was even better. There was no way I wasn't finishing this one, and I totally did.

So I'm sitting here in the convention center lobby, mauing away at this delicious chicken, spinach, swiss and white wine sauce crepe. I always find great places when I'm not expecting to! Street food at its best, fast and very tasty. I may try a sweet crepe on my way out! -just a bit pricey is all

When my husband mentioned this place, I had no idea that we would be going to a little stand outside of a convention center. Random.
A friendly woman was working there and happily served us our crepes. I had a ham and cheese crepe with spinach and Mike had a nutella one. While it's difficult to mess up a nutella crepe, I'm a crepe snob (having lived in Paris) and can't say that it was anything special. It was definitely edible and not bad but just...not great. I think that it would have tasted better if there had been more cheese and if the spinach had been cooked a little more. Just my $0.02.
Crepes came out quickly though...in just a couple of minutes. If I happen to be in the area, I would consider stopping by again but wouldn't go out of my way to come here. -

I wanted to love this place, having enjoyed crepes in Paris. The people working there were nice enough. We went for lunch hoping for some cheesy crispy goodness. Unfortunately, we were disappointed.
The first issue is that true savory crepes should use a different batter than sweet crepes. This isn't that big a deal if your batter isn't sweet, but this batter was definitely of the dessert type.
Secondly, the crepes (each cooked by separate people) were barely even browned. They weren't flipped either. Maybe the stones aren't hot enough even though it was just after noon? Of the two crepes that we tried, the chicken in one was cold.
As we walked off they turned into a soggy, leaky, mess and sadly ended up in the trash.... -
Review from Lyn P.
Good menu options for both sweet and savory. It kinda bugged that they didn't flip the crepe over, but they are cooked through so I guess it's really an aesthetic thing. I highly recommend eating there or taking to go and eating while you walk, because if you get them boxed up, they get soggy quick.

Even though it was super-chilly outside, the guy behind the crepe counter took our order with a smile and joked with our group of Texans when hoedown music blasted on the stereo. Big ups to him when he added another serving of Nutella and strawberries to our crepe, reasoning that "everything's bigger in Texas," ha!

Very convienent place to eat if you are at the convention center. I had both a sweet and savory crepe. I love love love Nutella and can't pass up the chance to have it, it was very good. The ham and swiss crepe was also good. The price was reasonable too.

I LOVE CREPES! OMNOMONOMOMONONOMONONONMOMONNONOMONMOOM
i can only assume you are here reading this review for one of the three reasons:
a) you love crepes and are looking for great crepes in the seattle area
b) you are hungry and this place popped up as one of the highest rated food places in seattle.
c) you were trying to type in 'creep' into yelp seattle and mistakenly wrote crepe and this place popped up.
so i am here to confirm all these things:
1. crepes here are phenomenal. i got one with prosciutto, swiss cheese, spinach, herb butter, white sauce and an egg. it hit the spot because seattle is brisk and cold and a nice hot crepe hits the spot like none other.
2. if you are hungry and don't have $20 to spend on a meal but once something unique and awesome, i'd really recommend to spot by and grab a savory crepe.
3. if you are a creep, don't go here, because you may run into me. if you are trying to stay away from creeps, go here because you may run into me. hahahaha -
Review from Eva H.
street-style crepes?...intriguing! I thought it was really cool and unique that they have a kiosk for people in a hurry and just want to grab a quite bite to eat. The kiosk and seating area was really clean and orderly. Too cold outside? Youre welcome to sit inside the Convention Center.
This place definitely emphasizes on the French -style crepes, right down to the heavy creams and fraiches. My boyfriend got the Smoked Wild Salmon and I got the Scrambled egg crepe (hoping for a omelette-on-the-go effect). The prices were...ok.....$6-8 depending on if you want to add scrambled egg for 75c (jeez!)
The guy who made our crepes was nice and made our crepes fast. How ever the crepe itself was nothing spectacular. I expected fluffy eggs but I kinda got this mushed melding of the egg, cheese and spinach- couldn't really tell what I was eating.
My boyfriend only said his crepe was "okay." Not a good sign. Over all I have to say it was "ok" because I have been to other creperies that made me say "OMG." And I so hoped for that here. I expected a crepe that screamed "Voila!" but I didn't get it....sad.... -

I've travelled across the Atlantic ocean just to taste authentic savory crepes. Who knew I would find an amazing place after a two hour flight north of California?
But seriously though, I've tried numerous creperies, and this one has to be the best (literally better than most of the creperies I've been to in France). The owner is this laid back Philadelphian who came to Seattle a few years ago. He's a really friendly guy, and his recipes are really good. Both savory and healthy. It's too bad there really isnt an indoor seating area because Seattle gets too cold for a Californian :( But they roll up your crepe for you to go and you can eat them while walking. -

Very mediocre crepes - had the ham and cheese with an egg crepe, which the girl at the stand said was their most popular item. It tasted quite plain and really was nothing to write home about The service was friendly; although there were two girls working at the stand that day and one of them didn't even bothered to get up when we approached to inquire about the different crepes. Perhaps this place can use some better management.

After breaking down and spending $7 on a breakfast crepe (my third crepe here) I have decided it is just A-ok.
Actually they don't have breakfast crepes; I just bought a regular crepe for breakfast. It was a lot of food, but underwhelming on flavor. I really want to love this place but there's something about the product that doesn't impress as much as I had hoped it would. I've had crepes elsewhere and started singing Usher's "OMGosh" at the first bite. None of the three savory crepes I've had here did that. It's good, but more in a novelty experience kind of way. And for a novelty experience, the location couldn't be less charming.
The crepe maker who is very nice said their crepes are authentic to how street vendors in Paris make them. Perhaps that is where the problem lies. Like French wine and French cheese, there's some kind of funky flavor lurking in the background of these crepes, something earthy. I suspect it's the wrap. I think they use buckwheat in the dough, so maybe that gives it a funky flavor. I don't know. A little butter would help a lot. Or maybe I just need to stick to the sweet crepes.Listed in: La Dolce Vita, Cafe Life, Artisan Food, Touristing in Seattle, Grabbing a quick, reasonably…

Fancy-ish crepes. Good enough, but $15 for 2 crepes on the street? That seems excessive. For that price, you might as well go to 611 Supreme up the hill. Their crepes are better.
It's kinda cool that it's a stand on the street instead of a shop. -

Bought a Groupon to try La Crêperie Voilà's crepes. I have eyed this place so many items walking in this part of downtown, so when a deal came up on Groupon, I jumped on it. It was first real sunny day yesterday before the summer season kicks off, so I decided to head on over for some breakfast here.
There is really no seating to speak of (two tables!), making this place a true food stand. I was pleased no one was in line, which was sweet since I heard it can take a while when it gets busy. I got two crepes, one sweet and one savory. I chose the #2 scrambled egg ($5.75) and accidentally order the #9 dark chocolate ($5.95). I really wanted the lemon, but whatever. I will take the caloric hit and indulge.
The crepes did not take all that long to make which was good. The crepe maker also doubling as the cashier was really friendly and packed my crepes in to go boxes for some mobile eating. I considered my options for eating the crepe. I really wished there was a small park in these parts. Don't know if the convention center has a public area or not.
Anyways, I absolutely loved the scrambled egg crepe. The spinach, cheese and egg makes for an awesome combination and it was very fulfilling. After finishing it, I knew two crepes is one too many. Still, I soldiered on and tried the dark chocolate crepe. Some Nutella was smeared on the crepe which was a nice addition. I thought the crepe was good, but overkill for me. Though I liked the scrambled egg more.
I really liked La Crêperie Voilà. It is conveniently located in downtown Seattle and the crepes are nice and filling. -

If you are on the go or want some quick crepes downtown..this place is the place to stop by! My husband and I go here from time to time because their prosciutto ham and egg crepe is amaaaazing! You can either sit outside and enjoy them, or they can box it up for you to go, or they can even wrap it up in this great way for you to just hold it in your hand and eat. Their dessert crepes are delicious as well..can't go wrong with nutella and fruits!

As much as I'd like to love it here, I don't. I love the concept of street food, which is what we're lacking in Seattle, however street food needs to taste good, be fast and reasonably prices for us to actually keep them in business and La Creperie Voila just isn't any of those things.
The first time I went here, I got the swiss and apple crepe. First off, I had to wait a good twenty minutes for my crepe since the people running it were so disorganized and when I received my crepe, the swiss was hardly melted and the crepe had a huge tear in it, so it was just a mess. The swiss also had a really bad aftertaste to where I threw it away without even finishing.
I only tried it a second time because of a groupon coupon, and I ordered the chicken and spinach crepe and substituted the swiss with gruyere. The cheese wasn't melted all the way yet again, the crepe wasn't wrapped tight enough, and the chicken tasted funny and was cold in the middle.
Not only are the crepes overpriced, but they're undercooked, messy, take forever and the ingredients just don't taste fresh. I'm not bothering with this place again.Listed in: Lunch in Downtown Seattle, No, no, no and no.

Roadside Creperie? Unheard of!
I have never had a better crepe in these here United States. The concept is pretty damn European: a curbside Creperie. I hit this spot up on three different occasions because I loved the savory taste and excellent service. The employees work their asses off and somehow maintain a high level of service. I have never seen a larger grin on a cook's face. I had mad respect for their work ethic which is why I tipped them a ten, and I hate tipping. Most establishments offer lousy service, which is why I think tipping should be abolished (and you can quote me). It's like this expectation of entitlement, that I am not willing to perpetuate.
But I digress.
I ordered the scrambled egg/ smoked salmon crepe, which I thought was bomb. The best part was watching the crepe artist prepare the crepe. The food was definitely made with love. On another occasion, I got a scoop of Nutella ice-cream which hit the spot as well. -

I had the goat cheese crepe with red peppers and spinach. It was excellent, a good portion, and only $7.00 The gal running the place was quite friendly and efficient and there are some tables right there on the street. I wouldn't hesitate to go here again. If you're at the Washington Convention Center this place is right next to it.
