Pastrami sandwich is AMAZING. Big thick chunks of meat, cooked onion, amazing buttered bun. The meat was really fantastic. A bit fatty but so so tasty.
There is no line, which is very odd for trucks by Hanover (this one is off of Hanover, right by the Citibank building usually).
I've also had the burger. Burger was good, but not anything to rave about. I liked it medium rare and the onion was a nice touch.
Owner is a really nice Jamaican (or other island, perhaps?) dude, who is always friendly. -

Terrible.
Ugh.
Bleh.
I had their burger. Not only was it bland, but it was undercooked and expensive.
If this is what grass-fed burgers taste like then I prefer Mad Cow Disease.
+1 service (guy was nice)
-1 undercooked
-1 flavor (well... i tasted ketchup)
-1 price (I'll get a double cheeseburger from shake shack... or a happy meal at McDonald's)
-1 for feeling organically raped

I've seen this truck right outside my work building for awhile now. The street trucks seem to have a bad reputation but I don't believe in that! It's NYC!
Anyway, some of my coworkers were not impressed with this place but I thought I should check it out myself for an unbiased review.
There was no line (Not a good sign!) but maybe because it was so late into lunch.
The guy who was there saw me right away and greeted me with hello's etc. I looked at the menu real quick and decided to go for cheeseburger which comes with carmelized onion etc. The wait was about 2 minutes which to me seems like the burgers were pre-cooked.
Either way, the burger was pretty good and I enjoyed all of it. The onions were great and the bread very nice and soft. The meat is cooked medium which I like as well.
One bad thing was I thought the "Smart Fries" were actual french fries but they are just package potato chips. I'll definitely stop by again sometime. -

Review from PARKED - Food Truck Rally - South St Seaport 8/20/11
So I didn't try their beef burger - but instead had the most AMAZING hot dog everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I'm not sure if this is offered all the time - or if it was just for the Food Truck Rally - but for $3 bucks- you got their all natural/organic beef hot dog on a yummy potato roll ((safe assumption))..mustard and onions... This hot dog really has some bite to it - and truly felt more like a polish sausage! I loved that it was grilled to perfection.. had a snap..and great flavour...
Seriously - of everything we sampled from the trucks - my 2 girlfriends and I kept dreaming of this darn hot dog all weekend....
Next time - I'll try their burger - but I Will have a hot dog too!
yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm......
I can't wait to find this truck again. -

Super stoked to come across this big sky, blue sky painted truck at the recent Parked Food Truck Festival offering up grass fed sirloin burger straight outta Montana. Yum, it has to be delicious I told myself.
Well, it wasn't. I should have realized when the sign noted that they could not cook it any less than medium that something would be off. The meat was super tender but amazingly bland. That's probably why they push the caramelized onions and cheese.
Boooo.
Didn't even finish it off. -
Review from Matt S.
Three stars is the exact perfect rating for La Cense Beef Burger Truck. I visited the truck during PARKED! in South Seaport and really wanted the 6 oz Steakburger with caramelized onions. After a bit of a wait, I held my steakburger ($7) and found a spot to sit.
With a little bit of ketchup added, since there is nothing on it except cheese and caramelized onions, I got to dig in. The burger was cooked to medium, but it looked more well done than anything, but this could have been because of the enormous amount of people visiting the truck that day. The onions were tasty, but didn't blow my mind either. When the burger was finally consumed, it is a big burger, I was content but willing to move towards another food truck.
Unfortunately, La Cense didn't deliver the best burger I have ever had nor close to that. It was just an average burger and I feel like the ones I make myself at home would be on par or better. -

Another stop on the Zagat Food Truck Festival
* The owner was super pleasant; cracking jokes and poking fun at the slow cook :) Nice and refreshing during a day of work
* Mini burger was wrapped in foil... but turned cold within ~30 seconds :(
* Grass-fed meat was melt in yo' mouth yummy! -

I dunno if it's organic, but I know it was a tasty burger. I enjoyed the grilled onions and melty cheese. The meat wasn't too greasy and had a nice heft to it.
I would say it's on par with their competitor Frites n meats.
The guys working the truck were super friendly and nice. -

I must say this was not one of the best burgers i've had. The steakburger (#1 choice on their menu) reminded me of a roy rogers burger when i got it. The caramel onions were ok, but overall i felt i could have gotten much more for 6.50$

Tried today because there was a coupon on Tenka to have one free. Well first off Tenka was buggy, and they were nice and gave me the free burger anyways.
That said, very meh. The meat was light brown (no pink left) and definitely over cooked. The bun was mushed to oblivion from the foil, a bit soggy, and the cheese wasnt great either. Grilled onions were very good though.
Frites N Meats truck is way better! For the cost and the fact that they are a beef company, I'd expect more. ($7.00 for a burger that kinda sucks, really?? Good thing I didn't pay) -

I have read about the La Cense Beef truck parked in the Union Square area and serving delicious and guilt-free steak burgers.
I can use some guilt-free food but how to get up to Union Square, find the truck, order, eat and get back within an hour? Not possible...
I pray that the Holy Cow would grace us with his truck in the Financial District.
Holy cow! They showed up last week right in front of my building! I almost had a cow man; seriously no bull. (OK, enough BS....)
My friend Jose and I came out for lunch and headed for the chicken & rice wagons that is on every corner on Wall St. but today we spot the "Blue Montana Sky" truck and decided to try them.
We both ordered item #1 the "Pure All natural Steak Burger" with natural cheese and caramelized onions for $6.50 + half-dill pickle for 0.50; the patty is pre-cooked to medium (pink) which is exactly the way I like it.
The burger was superior to most burgers I have eaten; the patty was not greasy like regular meat patties.
A squeeze does not cause grease to run out and dip.
The burger actually tasted like a steak instead of a regular burger and was especially good with the cheese and caramelized onion.
The price at first seems high but after the meal I felt it was worth the $7.50. My friend Jose also enjoyed the steakburger.
I am definitely trying the corn beer next time.

How is this rated #1 on Zagat?!!
No wonder why no one uses Zagat anymore...hahhaa
anywayz...I tried it cuz of the Tenka deal.
good thing I didnt pay for this burger...
It was not delicious at all. the burger was decent sized, not skimpy like Burger 9 but there was no taste in that "grass fed" meat??
if that is what grass fed meat taste like then give me something that is not grass fed...it was probably one of the worst burgers I've ever had.
2 stars cuz of the onions (star), and size of the burger and the guy working the truck but I would not recommend this burger at all even if it's free!!
Go to Paul's Burger in e.village. that was surprisingly GOOD!!!
too bad I missed out on that free Tenka deal. =( -
Review from Scott H.
I have to say that I was not impressed. If I am going to indulge in a burger, it should be decadently delicious. I thought for sure that I was on to a little secret part of NY - the food truck discovery without a Twitter membership and without the line.
The burger was "ok" but not much more than that. I liked it but it wouldn't stand up in a line-up. There was hardly any flavor. I would have another one - a 2-star just means I've experienced better. But I wouldn't go too far out of my way for this. Nor would I enroll in Twitter. -

Nice! Cruising at the farmer's market at Union Square on a Saturday and was feeling hungry. At first it was the smell, I just knew there was some fine food to be found. Next, it was the blue sky and green grass painted on the truck that caught my eye. 100% grass fed beef burgers? Perfect solution for the growing hunger in my stomach!
Sure you could get grass fed beef from other places in Manhattan, but none will be this cheap and good quality. I just wish they would put some lettuce and tomatoes in their burger in addition to the onions and cheese. Nonetheless, it was still pretty good. -

3.5 stars for being a lunch truck. If I got this burger at a brick and mortar establishment for $7.50, it would be a 2, maybe.
Firstly, the burgers are lukewarm. Secondly, the pickle (the best part) was a bit small I thought, considering most places give pickles away for free.
The meat was flavorful and tasty, but a bit dense and dry. It makes me think that they cooked them sometime this morning, or yesterday, and have had them sitting on heat the whole day.
If you're in the FiDi, I would go to Burger Burger or Zaitzef if you wanted some meat between your buns. Leave the burger trucks to midtown. -

Picked this free burger up in the financial district. The guy was super friendly, so mad props to him. Got a plain organic burger with just onions and cheese, and it was pretty plain, but props for friendliness.

Review from Yosh H.
Because Chun L. just *happened* to mention the La Cense truck being in FiDi today, I immediately dropped everything, grabbed my cellphone, and flew out the door. I mean, it's lunch time at work, what else should I be doing? So I ran 10 blocks. I ran...for beef...for a burger. (Later, when I reassess my day, I gotta question if my priorities are in the right place).
Anyhow, the staff in the truck saw me run over and they knew what I wanted. I mean, with just a menu of only 5 items, and only one main dish, what else could I possibly wanted? And then they dropped the bomb on me: "We're going to be here all week".
Crap.
That means, if this burger is as good as I hear it is, I'm screwed. Because I have yet to find a REALLY good burger (except for burger burger) in FiDi.
And the verdict? The burger is gooooood. The onions and cheese is wonderful and the pickles are young and a bit spicy. All together, perfect as served. $8 for a cheese burger and pickles may be extravagant but honestly, this is one tasty burger that is not only grass-fed beef but lovingly prepared.
Chun L. may have informed me of the burger truck's location but he has now also inspired me to get two burgers next time I visit...which, I suspect, is going to be tomorrow.
Crap. -
Review from Paul L.
A lot of hype brewed about this place as I first heard about it from the men's culture e-mail newsletter, Thrillist. They really pride themselves on having their beef carved from cattle that was fed organic grass unmolested by pesticides or hormones. They also boast about their beef being from Montana and being championed by grill master, Adam Perry Lang. The truck is conveniently located across Park Ave. and 48th St. from my office building. I can actually see the truck and it's snake tail of a line from my office window (just as an aside, if you go there on a Monday, the line was dead at around 1:15pm or so). I heard that the burgers were overrated and not worth the wait or price. But what is a simple burger truck to do when the hype grows uncontrollably? Continue to make some solid burgers, that's what.
The menu is simple so you don't have to think about what you're going to get. It's also only cooked to medium (which is really the only way it should be anyway). The cheese should come with it, but I guess they're being considerate of their lactose diners (50 cents extra). However, the burgers do come with caramelized onions which are perfect. There are also pickles you can get on the side (also 50 cents extra) that are really crunchy and in that infantile stage of pickle incubation where you can still taste the fresh cucumber-ness. So good!
Lastly, they have a frequent diner's card where if you buy 10 burgers, you can get one free. I don't think I'll really be able to use mine unless I drag 10 co-workers/friends, forget to tell them about the card, and just get a complimentary burger. Dirty, I know. At least the burger's nice and organic. -

Burger perfection!
This is one of the best tasting burger I've had and I've had many. The taste is so superb that you don't need to add any seasoning or condiments. It turns out that these guys are also butchers so they know their stuff when it comes to good meat and it shows.

The LCB Burger Truck started its NYC run on 48th and Park Avenue. The line was long, but the burger was well worth the 30 minute wait. On weekdays from 11am to 3pm, it will be stationed somewhere in the city and you will have to follow them on Twitter to find out where!
http://twitter.com/LCB...
A juicy 6oz. burger topped with onions and cheese that makes it hard for you to stop at one. It is featured as a 100% natural grass-fed angus steakburger. The sesame-filled bun added excellent texture to the burger as well. Pickles and cheese adds an extra dollar to the $7 burger. That is the same or cheaper than Five Guys and Burger Heaven, yet it is a far superior burger. Let's just hope the truck is here to stay! -
Review from Diane L.
I AM A FAN! Yes I waited a long time, but the smell of the burgers kept me going.. and when I opened it up and took my first bite - it melted in my mouth.
It was $7 bucks for the burger, + 50 cents for cheese, and another 50 cents for a great little pickle that made my day
YOU MUST GO AND TRY ONE!
wait what i am i saying - go try one when its not on 48th and park bc i can't wait that long on a line!
btw- it says it will deliver if its a rainy day -
Review from John P.
The burger here is so disappointing. First off, $7.50 for a small cheeseburger is a little expensive. Second, they don't have fries. I hate when burger places don't have fries. I guess they're trying to be healthier than other burger places. They also promote that their burgers have less calories and fat then other burgers . If you want to be healthy, don't eat a burger. Trying to make a healthy burger essentially ruins the taste which comes from the fat. The taste kind of reminded me of a steamed burger, where there are no char lines and the fat is steamed out of the meat so there's no taste. The city has so many great burger places there's really no reason to eat here.

Review from Tim L.
There definitely must have been a lot of hype about this place when it first arrived. That hype must've died down. When I went at 12:30 there was absolutely no line. In fact a bunch of people peered at the small menu and proceeded to form a sizable line at the halal cart next to it. Go figure.
In terms of the burger itself, when compared to others in this league of grass fed, all natural beef etc. It's just ok. In fact I've had ones with a more delightful flavor and aroma.
However when you compare it to burger offerings in the area, then it definitely is a better tasting burger. Topped with caramelized onions by default there's little to interfere with the flavor of the beef.
It was a little annoying that it costs $0.50 extra for the basic slice of American cheese. Come on really? It's not even fancy cheese.
Given that it's only here for the summer between 12-3pm, if you're in the area you might as well give it a try, since even with the extra cheese and pickle, it's $8. Not bad for a meal.
For those concerned about the size, it's a decent portion. However I felt like if I had two it would be two much (see what I did there?), but one wasn't quite enough. -

Though the bun was nicely seeded, the burger was unremarkable. That is all.

Review from Irene H.
I dragged some coworkers there on Day 1 and they were kind of miffed about the wait (about 40 min). I think they underestimated the power of Twitter and Midtown Lunch. I haven't gone back since, but hope their process has sped up.
The burger itself was excellent. I appreciated the sesame bun and cheese. They said if you don't want cheese, you'd have to wait. Service was friendly. I'd go back in a heart beat if the wait was better. -
Review from Adam R.
Tasty burger.
Not perfect, but good. I read on their Twitter that La Cense was parked in East Midtown today, so I went over and checked it out. I was slightly surprised that there was no line, as I heard that it can get kind of ridiculous over there. Not to be. I got my burger and paid within a minute.
They tout how their burger is lower in calories and fat than an average burger, but don't give specific numbers. I'm not a health nut, but it'd be nice to know exactly what I'm eating. Though I suppose if you're eating a burger from a truck, it's a little silly to be concerned.
The burger was well-made, served on a sesame seed roll, and decently thick. It wasn't cooked uniformly, which was a little annoying, but not the end of the world. The carmelized onions that were on top tasted a little too pre-made. I tend not to like my food really hot, but a little bit more warmth here would have been nice.
I'm not going to go back every week when it's around, but I can see myself having another some time. -

bad burger.
bad, bad, bad.
listen, i am trying to be grass-fed, pastured, raw, organic biodynamic everything, i read labels, i read books, i buy food from farmers, i visit farms. i'm busy trying to work my way up the food ladder to higher cleaner fresher full-flavored quality. i'm not saying i'm better than you, i'm just saying i've done my homework and i have some background and i understand the context to write this review.
to see a truck in the wall street zone selling hamburgers made of grass-fed beef was truly exciting. so it's come to this, i'm thinking. progress! and the guys in the truck were great guys, and they are the reason this is not a one-star review. at least it was fun, guys.
but, to use some of the most favorite words of at least a dozen literary-aspiring yelpers...
*alas*
*sigh*
*it is not to be*
first, i simply doubt the claim of 100% grass-fed. and even if it is, well there must be a legal loophole to the term because the flavor is not there, the texture is not there, the burger is dry and flavorless and cheap-tasting and worse, extremely diner-ordinary.
after a couple of bites i was so disbelieving that i took a closer look at the inside. it looked like a low-grade by-product-filled grind of beef, a mixture of bone, cartilage, gristle, i don't know, but i've seen right and this looked wrong, maybe 100% grass-fed, i haven't been to the farm, if it is indeed a farm, what is the department of agriculture's definition of "farm" these days? but what concerns me is, if it's no-filler as they claim, then what parts of the cow are in this grind? it sure didn't look like 100% sirloin to me.
words, words, words, is it all a word game, designed to fool me? the claim is 100% pure steakburger, pristine montana ranch, 100% natural grass-fed beef, no grain, no antibiotics, no hormones, no pesticides, no fillers. but it doesn't add up: how can you do all that and have such a lousy tasting product?
and why does it have to come all the way from montana when there are perfectly good cows in the northeast 100 miles away? maybe that's the key to unraveling the mystery. trucking burgers from 2000 miles away implies a large national distributor which implies some sort of factory farm to produce all the volume to support a capital-intensive national distribution system, and then hiding behind the green movement. so now i'm wondering: what is the latest regulatory definition of 'grass-fed' -- has that been co-opted too? we all know that 'organic' is done.
cynical of me, yes, but i am filled with distrust and doubt after what i've been seeing in retail food, now that i've been looking more carefully. when you look below the surface, it doesn't hold up. and the reason it doesn't hold up is due to trickery and sleight of hand. they control the legal definitions and you think you're getting something else.

First time trying the burger truck. I was all ready for a great grass fed burger and fries. However when we walked up to the truck your only two choices are onion and cheese. No bacon ("the owners only sell beef"), lettuce, tomato, pickle. And, they dont have freshly prepared fries. A burger with no fries? The menu mentions burgers are cooked medium, but mine was well done.
They have a ways to go to improve on their menu. -

Twitter afficianodo & lover of all things moo, I pranced (that's right, pranced) to the site of the LCB Burger Truck. Much to my delight there was no long line. Just 2 people staring at the truck in bemusement. Using my stealthy ninja skills, I crept in front of gawkers & placed an order for a steak burger with fromage & a pickle on the side.
The burger was a nice size. Juicy with flavorful onions & gooey cheese. The fifty cent pickle was somewhat scrawny & it didn't taste right, but what do you expect for $0.50? -

1. Burger is 7 bucks
2. Burger has no flavor and no char at all.
3. Burger does not have fries option.
4. Stopped at McDonalds to buy fries for the burger (why? because it was fast and easy)
5. Put MCD fries on the burger to give it flavor.
Oh, and they sold me a "pickle". This was the single most, worst pickle ever! I gave it to a co-worker just to share my pain, and he agreed that it was like a cucumber. A cucumber dropped in some kind of flavored water with a weird flavor of nothing......Crazy!
Sorry, but anyone who thinks this place is good needs to save their soul and eat Shake Shack....SOON! -

It's unamerican to not have fries at a burger place. Aside from that, the quality of the burger is pretty damn good with a sizeable portion of meat with excellent flavor and cooked just right (medium.) I can't argue against their claim to being all grass-fed, but their claim to being a steak burger I have to call shenanigans on because the look of the meat tells you that it's a ground combination of some sort. Tastes good but I don't know if I trust all their claims.

Went to this truck when it was visiting it's downtown location of Wall Street between Water st and Front St.
I ordered the 6 oz steakburger with Cheese ($7.50). It came with Sauteed onions. I think the problem with this burger is that I am expecting a traditional burger taste. I expect a lightly salted exterior and the rich fatty juiciness of a thick burger. Looking at the photos of this burger one would expect that. A thick 6 oz cut of angus grassfed cow. However this is a steakburger that touts itself as lower in fat and calories than others and is 100% guilt free, probably more for it's claim on grass fed, no hormones, antibiotics cow than it's nutritional value. In the end you wind up feeling like your eating a big turkey burger. It's definitely a leaner cut of meat and taste "healthier" however this is suppose to be a burger it's not suppose to be healthy.
While the burger is less fatty it is still juicy and not dry, and the sauteed onions are good, the taste feels a bit bland, and lacking that rich meaty taste you want when you sink your teeth into it. I would probably get another one if I walked past this truck but wouldn't go out of my way for it or hype it up for my friends to get.

Finally setting shop in FiDi, it was off to sample the highly discussed offering of La Cense Beef Burger Truck.
I will start this review by dedicating the following remarks to Matthew "Sweet Titz" S. for bringing LCB Burger Truck to my attention. Without his thread post for Burger Truck, the venture would never have been possible.
Little needs to be said about La Cense with respects to their operation. A modest sized van that's gleefully painted with a tranquil farmland skyline is home to the infamous Grass Fed Beef Burger. All burgers are cooked and prepped on site to guarantee freshness.
The menu is simple and is as follows...
6 oz Grass Fed Beef Burger: $7.00
Pickle: $0.50
American Cheese: $0.50
Bag of Chips: $1.00
Bottled Water: $1.00
That's it!
A few notes on the burger...
- Onions are Included in the Burger. Request omission if you're not a fan of sauteed onions.
- All Burgers are cooked to "Medium" temperature. Request can be made if different temperature is preferred
- Soft White Sesame Seed Buns are the foundation of the burger (buns are NOT toasted)
Opted to order 2, that's right TWO, LCB Burgers to gain a hearty sampling of both their Grass Fed Beef and cooking execution.
Inspection of the burger revealed a residual of grease stemming from the Grass Fed Beef Pattie that softened the non-toasted sesame bun. Although the residual was minor, it was enough for the bun to lose its structure. Nevertheless, the bread remained intact, which led for it's consumption to be slightly tedious, but not impossible. At first bite, the heartiness and natural flavor of the Grass Fed Beef shined above all other elements. The natural heartiness derived from the beef provided an abundance of meatiness in texture when consumed. Although little to no seasoning was detected in the burger, this omission allowed for the natural flavors and texture of the meat to shine. Consuming LCB's rendition is to understand that the natural element of the beef is the main attraction. With its slight abundance of marbling, the texture and the flavor is heartier and more dense than the common burgers consumed. The American Cheese applied onto the burger provided a much welcoming textural contrast, not to mention the fat required to plump up the burger. With the mild bitterness and rich velvetty texture, the American Cheese provided a much welcoming textural contrast and flavor to the application. What's worth noting is the ability of the Cheese to not overpower the Burger, but rather amplify the natural heartiness of the meat. Although the sauteed onions were an afterthought (in both taste and texture), the Grass Fed Burger provided a much welcoming, lighter variety to a classic consumable. Despite the flavor in the meat being subtle, due to the lack of abundance of marbling in the meat, the natural flavors of the beef were allowed to shine in this classic rendition.
$15.00 in the hole for 2 burgers consumed in less than 4 minutes. Granted, it was a slightly hefty price to pay to sample a Grass Fed Beef derived burger but was worth it nonetheless.
Patrons will find a love/hate relationship with LCB Burger Truck if they're unfamiliar with the natural taste of Grass Fed Beef. Nevertheless, the ability of LCB to encompass the natural element of what is Grass Fed Beef is remarkable in both execution and taste.Listed in: Burgers Galore!!!

Just got back from my first visit to the LCB burger truck. I say first, because it definitely won't be my last! When my colleagues and I found out they were going to be in Columbus Circle, we ran, not walked to get there! We got there at noon and there was NO LINE! The guys in the truck were awesome--really nice and well-informed. OK, enough of this fluffy stuff...on to the meat! The burger was, well, PHENOMENAL. The flavor of the ground meat is better than any burger I've ever had...and I've had a lot. It had a great grilled flavor and was very juicy, but not greasy at all. A healthy portion of carmelized onions and melted cheese were the perfect compliments inside a perfectly proportioned sesame seed bun! We downed our burgers in record time and are proud of it. Wait, why are you still reading this? Go get in line to get your own burger!!!

I went a few days after they launched after the buzz machine had worn down. There was no wait at all at noon. Just walked right up and placed my order.
You can tell the meat is really high quality. Super tender and juicy. And the burgers are quite large really. I do think they could use a bit more seasoning. I LOVE the caramelized onions. But, I'm a sucker for caramelized onions. You could put a piece of cardboard under delicious onions and cheese and I would probably eat it. Pickles are really good too, but cost extra. I wish they had fries. I like fries with my burger. -

So I heard that these foodie trucks are all the rage now in the city. Everyone is following their twitter page just to grab lunch or sweets around their job. I, myself refuse to join twitter but my coworker mentioned that the truck was right in the neighborhood. So I tagged along since I haven't had a real burger since a few months ago. We got there around 12:15 and there was no line at all. You can order a burger for $7, add cheese or pickles for $.50 each, and buy a bag of chips. We both ordered cheeseburgers and you get a card stamped for every burger you buy. So yes buy 10 get 1 free. They grill the burger fresh made to order and while we were waiting... A line was already forming. Got our burgers and headed to Wendys for fries... What's a burger w/o fries? Yes today was a fattie day!! Back to the office for this fresh made to order burger. The burger was juicy and def. tasted like high quality beef. The bun just had too many sesame seeds for me. It was literally sticking on my fingers and made quite a mess on my plate. My only other complaint is they should serve fries. I know burgers are mainly their thing but a bag of chips just doesn't cut it which is why people will probably buy fries from somewhere else *cough* Wendy's. Verdict: pricey burger but pretty good taste.

i was really looking forward to trying this burger with all the hype. and today they were downtown on wall street. i have to say i was extremely disappointed. the bun is nothing special. a standard presliced sesame seed bun. the sort of thing you would get at any supermarket. the burger...well i'm still tasting it several hours later. i found it to be very reminiscent of the burgers i used to eat for lunch in elementary school and camp. memorable, but not in a good way. the burger had no char. the meat was pinkish grey. the cheese, yes the NATURAL cheese, at 50 cents extra, is your basic american. theres no lettuce. no tomato. no pickles. no potion to get them if you want. the only toping is caramelized onions. i guess they want the focus of the experience to be on the meat. well they succeed at that. unfortunately thats not a good thing
