I've always found their food to be bland.  It always sounds better on the menu than when you actually get it in front of you, however, the ingredients are quality and the presentation is nice.

While I'm not a big fan of the food and much prefer El Toro, this place has the best margaritas in town!  They are cheap and they pour 'em strong.

Not a fan of the 11 word service thing they do, (what do you want to drink & are you ready to order), that's not service, I can get more words than that at Taco Bell & they include a smile to. Place is loud & it seems like your eating on Hwy 288 (staff blowing by you at 100mph). Their tables are so close together that you cant help but hear every word your neighbor says :( Did like the warm salsa. Fajitas were 50/50, chicken ain't worth the money, beef was real good, I'd rather have re fried beans the the bean soup (gag), no cheese on fajitas, where's the love? Next time I'm down here for business, I'll go somewhere else

This is an update.  I visited here not too long ago - I admit I hadn't been in awhile and was ready to have an enjoyable meal with our family in a favorite place.  I was so disappointed because the menu prices went way up.   We have a large family (7) and could easily feed all of us about $60.  Not so anymore. We spent around $80 (before tip) and it was hard to enjoy the experience after this since we have been coming for years. Haven't been back since, sorry to say. We can find delicious inexpensive Mexican food somewhere else.

I never have been impressed with this eatery. I know it's Mexican food, but come on -- the grease is always just WAY over the top for me.

Service is always slow to respond to anything, and the food is usually bland, as well.

I will give the kudos for their guacamole, though -- but that's it. =/

We love it!!  Absolutely great service, always polite. It is getting a little loud due to the growing clientele,  but in our opinion, still better than the other popular Mexican restaurant.  We always ask for Alex. He is great!  BUEN PROVECHO!

I went on Monday Night because I heard in Lake Jackson this is the night and the best place for boiled crawfish. I told my sister Mexican Restaurant and crawfish... To my disappointment the last week of season was the week before. We had a large part of 10 and had a great dining experience anyway. The manager brought over some Mexican style guacamole not that whipped smooth stuff most places serve. It was awesome. You have to ask for it though. I had very good enchiladas al Carbon.
