The food here is always great! I have been eating here since they were across the street about 8 years ago. Never had anything I did not like and the staff is friendly
Tonight I am having the seafood burrito with green sauce it is very good. 3 year old is loving the chicken taco and the wife is having fajitas. Another great dining experience -

This is the best Mexican place in the greater Modesto area. I've been coming here for almost 20 years and it has never disappointed. The service is always good, the prices are great, and the food is amazing.
As all Mexican restaurants are supposed to, you get unlimited chips and salsa while you wait. The salsa they have is super good. It's fairly spicy, so if you can't handle spice keep a glass of water handy. As you're scarfing the chips don't forget to leave room for the wonderful food that's about to be served.
My favorite entrée is the a la carte burrito (cheap, big, and super tasty). My wife is fond of the flautas, and my mom likes the tapatias. I've eaten most everything on the menu, and no matter what you choose you can't go wrong. -

Scene: POST-5 HRS. HOLIDAY DRIVE HOME from SLO
Narrative:
Our energy banks are depleted, we are exhausted & hungry. As I take the short cut home, through the wilds of Ceres, I see a restaurant light. Is it a mirage or is it real?
From the outside, it does not look like much, but I am close to desperate delirium. We walk in, and the mirage disappears, and a real oasis of food takes its place. They warmly welcome us wayward travelers, and seat us in a cozy booth.
A huge urn cascading water is the centerpiece of the large & very clean dinning room. A very pleasant smiling waitress takes our order. I order the $12 seafood Burrito that was recommended by her, and my wife orders a vege dish (A combo of a Cheese Enchilada and a Guacamole Taco) that was recommended.
Our order, which was piping hot, came quickly, and we marveled at the Huge Machismo of my Forearm sized Burrito.
IT WAS KIND OF LIKE THIS BURRITO BLUEPRINT:

It was a beauty and was enhanced by green and red sauce
on each half. We quickly dug in....
....WOW!!! THIS IS DELICIOUS, THE BEST....WE SAID SIMULTANEOUSLY!....
AS WE LOOK AT EACH OTHER IN FRANK DISBELIEF! BECAUSE WE NEVER SAID THIS ABOUT MEXICAN FOOD BEFORE!
The Seafood Burrito was not just huge but succulent inside, with generous amounts of shrimp, fish, cheese, and the other goodies that go into a super-burrito...but far far better! With the sauce on top, I guess you would call it a "wet" burrito, but I just called it ....
YUMRITO!!!!!!!
For "dessert", my honey started in right away with, "How come you did not know about this place...since you are a genius? How come you did not tell me about this place...did you hide it from me? Is it close to anything...where are we BTW? Close to the gym...great...which gym! This the most delicious Mexican food I ever had & I will bring my friends here. Where are we again?......blah blah blah...
MY HONEY LOVED IT, SHE JUST IS SUPERLATIVELY CHALLENGED! HAS ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF THE LOCALE,
AND MAY HAVE BEEN A BIT LOCO AT THE TIME,
FROM THE ETERNAL DRIVE, WITH EXTREMELY
LOCO CALIFORNIA END OF A HOLIDAY WEEKEND DRIVERS,
......COMPLETE WITH TONS OF CAR ACCIDENTS ALONG THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We almost lick the plates clean.
The End! -

I have been going to this place off and on and when I went back on Sunday they had moved to a bigger place, more like a bar than a restaurant. All in All this place is great both in service and food.

Went there today for lunch. Menu selection and the service is very friendly. Try the carnitas they are very good. Will most likely return in the future.
