8 reviews for La Bellasera
Highly recommended. Will go back again!
Room (2 room king studio spa) was amazing. Every detail was beautiful and the room was very romantic. I loved the flat screen tv with Internet and wireless keyboard/mouse. I was surfing the web in the hot tub!!! Bathroom is moderate size but with a big shower. The mini fridge in the room was a little loud, it kept my boyfriend up at night so we unplugged it.
Service was impeccable, 4 star attention to detail. Never been to a hotel with such amazing service.
Turndown service twice a day.
King size bed was a heavenly. Very comfortable and offers good support. I want one of my own!!!
Pool and gym were a little small but had bottled waters and towels ready for anyone to use.
I was somewhat skeptical when the gf told me that she wanted to stay here over the President's Day weekend. Furthermore, I was not too fond of the whole idea of a hot tub in the bedroom.
That said, this exceeded my expectations. The room was very nicely put together (no Days Inn here) without the tub looking too tacky. The Romanesque theme was amusing though as it was only around the hot tub. The rest of the decor was more Hilton and W-ish.
In reading some of the other reviews, we opted not to eat at the hotel restaurant but ended up going to Big Bubba's Bad to the Bone BBQ (next review).
I'll definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.
Severely underwhelmed.
The rooms are expensive ($259 for what is essentially a Hampton Suites room with a nicer bedspread).
The hotel overlooks a freeway.
The hotel staff is snooty and not helpful.
The "grounds" is nothing more than a parking lot and a small pool.
My room had a used bar of soap in the shower and the toilet hadn't been flushed before we checked in.
The area is packed with hotels that will give you better service and more for your money. The Marriott or even the Adelaide Inn are MUCH better. You could stay for 3 nights at the Adelaide Inn for what one night at La Bellasera costs and you won't have to look at a freeway, deal with nasty staff or feel like you just paid $300 to stay at a Radison.
I love, love, love this place!!
My Valentine didn't think that the inside of the hotel would match the nice looking outside. When we opened the doors to the entrance of the hotel, it was so warm and relaxing. The front-desk people were friendly, didn't seem snobby or anything (I hate people and places like that).
Seriously.. when we opened the door to our suite, we both said WOW. It was AMAZING.
-- It looked really sophisticated and classic with a lot of space to move around, NOT tacky and squished.
-- We had an in-room jacuzzi and it was huge! My Valentine requires a lot of space to feel comfortable (teehee, don't kill me!), and the tub was just right.
-- The bathroom and the shower. The bathroom was SO clean, I was really in awe. And I really, really thought the shower would be a tiny, generic white shower. NOPE! Beautiful tile and shower head. Very spacious. You could fit, maybe, four people comfortably (or six squished) in it.
-- Two flat screen tvs. Not one, but TWO?! :D One in each room.
-- Our king sized bed was SO COMFORTABLE, SO soft, and SO warm. I passed out after a few minutes of laying down - that comfortable.
I want to go back. It's a bit pricey, yeah, but the suite was so.. amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you want to get away for the weekend for some nice r&r.
Pros:
In Room Jacuzzi
Outdoor Pool, Gym and Spa Services
Definitely 4 Diamond Hotel
Enoteca Restaurant Downstairs (5 stars!)
Cons:
A bit Pricey
I'll preface this review with a warning; I've not stayed here, but I stopped in and ran their staff through their paces and they excelled.
My wife and I were wine touring through Paso Robles towards Cambria when I stopped here after contemplating a stay over here vs. Cambria Pines Lodge (Boy I wished I had stayed here).
We stopped by the hotel around 12 noon; we were greeted immediately asking if we wanted to be seated for lunch in their restaurant. When we told the staff we wanted to look at some rooms, they immediately accomodated us showing us a spa/fireplace suite, and a fireplace room.
The staff did not blink, hesitate or offer any objection to spending 20 minutes with us showing us the hotel and amenities. We were very pleased with their customer service; we weren't even customers that day. We certainly will be future guests.
One thing we noted was that the hotel is oriented so that the pool and outdoor dining area faces Hwy 101 which is a bit noisy. That was the only thing I could find to knock them down a bit. For Paso Robles, you won't find a nicer hotel. Expect to drop a couple of hundred dollars for a nice room.
ok, first impression: location was a bit weird -- at the intersection of the 46 and 101 freeways next to the hampton inn. nothing really around there, but a quick 3-4 minute drive to downtown paso robles. but the exterior of the hotel is beautiful -- kind of a mediterranean vibe. interior was also great -- clean, blend of modern and italian decor. room was large -- spacious bathroom, big shower, jacuzzi IN the room next to the bed (we thought that was a bit strange at first, but then was actually kinda cool -- if you ignore the cheesy italian mural next to the jacuzzi), super comfy bed. linens/towels were plush (robe was NOT), and bathroom amenities were high quality. oh, and on top of that they have free in-room internet and wifi (which we could use to yelp local restaurants!)
tiny pool and jacuzzi outside, and tiny workout room with a couple treadmills and ellipticals. but definitely clean and usable. they have a spa (we didn't try it) and a fancy shmancy restaurant/bar on site. the restaurant seemed a bit empty, sadly, although it looked great. we ate there a couple times for breakfast which was excellent.
the service was superb -- can you say evening turndown service? and they always greeted us warmly coming and going.
although probably not as posh as hotel cheval or villa toscana, it's cheaper and reasonable and the value of the hotel is definitely well worth the expense.

I just arrived at the hotel and I have to say that it is da bomb! We reserved a king br suite with fireplace. The room has exceeded our expectations. Granite in the full size kitchen. A bed as soft as you could ever imagine. 2 balconies, gas fireplace, 2 lcd flat screen tv's, built in computer in the flat screen (in addition to free high-speed if you prefer to use your laptop). Fully stocked bar, nuts, cookies, candy. And it's not the typical gawdy las-vegas-esque decor. If you've stayed at the Venetian, it's similar (a bit smaller), but much classier. These guys know what they're doing. It's just classy and high end... and for less than $200/night which is a steal! I was in Monterey last night and stayed at the embassy suites which is a 3.5 on a good day. For the same price, this is hands down, the winner. Even the rooms have a doorbell on the outside, that you can turn off from the inside. You can also arrange to have the room made up by pushing a button next to the door. I'm eating at the restaurant tonight, so I'll let you know what I think.
