What do you expect a hotel (Motel) in Inglewood, next to the Hollywood park casino? .. well, My relative booked this place over the internet. Very cheap! like $50 a night. There is barely any parking space in the front. You open the lobby door and its like a really cheesy counters and sofas. And then through the other side is door to walk out to the suites.
I was kind of surprise.. It kind of look like one of those hotels you stay in in Mexico but actually its a motel. They have a juke box, popcorn popper machine and free coffee and cookies on this huge patio by the swimming pool. We were there during Christmas so there was a nice big christmas tree with fake gifted boxes as there decoration in the patio. It was kind of nice, but the cheesy kind of nice.
The rooms were suites (if you want to put it that way) Its like walking in a bedroom and then doors through another bed room..
Remember this is in Inglewood where I wouldn't even walk out to the streets in daylight, but I felt safe in that hotel. Its locked so no one can get in unless you go through the lobby.

I'm pretty sure there was a prostitute in the parking lot when we arrived. We didn't leave anything in our car, or unpack our bags..
There was a pigeon living in the vines outside our window, and it didn't like our company. We woke up to some commotion as a worker was sweeping up broken glass from the window downstairs, the drunken pokergame got rowdy apparently...
But there were some cute kittens playing in the courtyard nearby!
I would expect more for $75.. but I'll stay out of Ingle-hood.
You get what you pay for.
It's like staying in a bad apartment complex but in a good way since you're not under long term lease. Unlike my apartment complex with neighbors that listen to "wrestling" and have loud man sex at 4 in the morning. What was I talking about again?
Oh yea. Adventurer Hotel. It's close to LAX and it's cheap. We had an early flight the next morning and wanted to stay in the area. We almost got denied because I lived in LA. If you stay here, MAKE SURE you have an out of the area ID because they do not let you stay if you don't. Your zip code CANNOT start with 90 or 91. Eek! Good thing my friend had a San Diego ID.
The hotel is clean and cute. It borders cheesy but it's all good. The room itself could be brighter and smell less like smoke. I've stayed in worse so I'm not complaining. The rates are $60 per suite and $10 an additional person. They also rent out bunks for $16 a person. It is a PARTY hotel and when I say party I don't mean young people partying - it's a bunch of middle aged out of towners getting completely hammered. They have $1 Beer and Margaritas all day. Yes you read right. ALL FREAKING DAY.
The staff is friendly and easy going. I commend them on making you feel like a family. They will keep reminding you of their "free services".

It's not the best hotel ever but if you don't mind roughing it, it's worth the experience.
