Applebee's Grill + Bar

We've been coming to this applebees location for quite awhile now.
The restaurant it's always clean, including the bathrooms. The employees are super nice and the food... well, is kind of a hot or miss with them.
I visited today (Superbowl Sunday) with my kiddo. We were greeted and seated pretty quick. We didn't had to wait too long to get our order and the server was super nice. We also got to meet the manager who was making sure that everything was ok with the order and service!.
The food was delicious and $32. for everything including a 18% tip... Not bad!.

Sorry to see this place recently closed for good. I heard reports of the chain not doing so well but this location always seemed busy and the food was great. Special shout out to their very attentive and friendly waitress Madeleine who was always a joy to have serve us.

This is a great Applebee's . Ordered baked haddock which was great and the grilled shrimp Thai salad yummy
Clean great servers will visit again

Went there on Tuesday night around 8 pm, and it wasn't a horrible experience. But I won't ever be likely to go back to the Applebee's chain if all are run like the one here. First time going to Applebee's and we had mostly went for a promotional drink, which were awesome when we could order them and drink them.

But as soon as we were seated by the hostess, it had taken our waitress at least 5 to 10 minutes to arrive at our table to place our first drinks orders and get an appetizer. And then again another time passes before we could order a refill, and then some more time passes before we could order our meals and more drinks. I had ordered a chicken and spinach pasta dish and my friend ordered steak and shrimp dish. He had no issues or complaint for his meal besides wishes this place offered A1 sauce and it being could medium well vs medium rare. My dish, didn't look appealing, tasted bland and dried up.

Before we could order our last drinks and desert, our waitress had came back and place down the bill and asked if we wanted to box up the leftovers. Maybe she was having a bad day, but the place wasn't even busy so the service shouldn't have been that drawn out and slow.

What a disappointment the appetizer that we order was ice cold we send it back..then the long iceland ice tea was like a virgin drink you cannot taste the alcohol..send it back waitress said that only the manager can fix it..the second one came back n then the manager gave an stupid explanation about the drink..he said you have to pay 2 dollars extra for the MUCHO GLASS..on the menu the drink comes in a MUCHO GLASS...so the managers need to review their menu b4 opening their mouth and give you a stupid explanation...I should have gone to Taco Bell for better food..or McDonald's.Applebees has gone down the hill big time ..they are out there to make money n they don't care about the quality of their product.my main dish came and what do you think it was COLD...not hot REALLY...AND DRY...also the ribs were dry not juicy...I guess this place in Danvers just like to provide poor quality food and they dont care because there are a lot of people that stop by...lesson learn.
I wish I can give them a MINUS 10..for food quality and management...My Waitress Lovashia.R....WAS AMAZING and friendly ..is not her fault that the restaurant managers dont CARE about the food quality ..never coming to this place again.

Sat at the bar last night early in the dinner time, and it was very slow. The bartender was very attentive and helpful, I ordered some beers and the tomato basil soup while I waited for two to-go oriental salads.
I asked for extra dressing to go, and got four big containers of it in total! That never happens, thanks!

The only complaint I had was the tomato basil at this location. It was very thick and dark, must have been old or something. Not a great way to start a Friday night with that quality soup. I've had it at other locations and it was much better.

I think I found a place that can make a worse burger than McDonalds or BK. How do you mess up a bacon burger? How can you not cook bacon right? I went here and had one of the worst meals in my life and not only that but myself and the others in my party got sick. This place is BRUTAL!

The food here wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. I ordered "Ultimate Trio of Mozzarella Sticks, Steak Quesadilla Towers, and Chicken Wonton Towers, as well as a clam chowder.

The towers, soup, and tacos were very good, but nothing worth writing home about, as for the Mozza sticks, when I got them years ago at this location, they were the kind that you could bite into, and pull. Although I did not eat these right when they were brought out, they still were the kind where the breading separates from the cheese. This is usually indicative or "previously frozen"

As for the service, my waitress did an average job, "meets expectations," for Appelebees. Three things I will mention about her though. First, when I was placing my order, I asked for extra salsa, she said okay, and when my order came out, it wasn't there. Second, She took way too long with everything, I had to wait an extraordinary amount of time to get our drinks (just water) for the food, the check, and everything in between, and it wasn't busy at all. Third, she was honest: I asked if the Chili comes out of a can, she said it doesn't, it comes out of a bag - she was not being sarcastic.

Overall, A-OK says it about right, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good either. It was just "good."

My server was friendly and was absolutely fine , a bit on the slow side but still great. Food wasn't bad, and contrary to belief no raw food.

This Applebee's is fantastic. The food is always delicious. The bartenders and servers are friendly and quick to take care of your dining needs. I stop in once every 2-3 weeks and even after all that time, they still know my drink when I sit down.
