While the signs outside imply that this is both a market and a tailor shop, this is not the case (I currently live in the tailor's shop).  What you will find at Kwong's is a bustling Asian market, packed with a variety of foods, medicine (the traditional Chinese sort), and tons of customers.

Tuesday and Friday are dim sum days, when they bring a large delivery truck full of fresh dumplings, steamed buns, and little cakes from San Francisco.  These days are particularly busy and I usually have my Chinese-speaking housemate translate for me.

Their prices are comparable to other Asian markets in town (sometimes even cheaper than larger places).  The staff is also very nice, but speaks limited English.  And they only take cash (which seems to be normal for Asian markets in Sacramento).

(Also--I am a horrid Yelper.  I'd originally reviewed Wai Meh down the street thinking it was Kwong's.  Sorry for any confusion.)
