Well my washer gave out on me and with kids at home I needed a washer really bad! So I called around...and for someone to come by from KV it would be 35 bucks! great I thought send him over.
My neighbor happened to be outside when he arrived and was waiting for her ride looking towards the street and he told her "what are you looking At!?" seesh was he having a bad day? hmmmm...
So he comes in has to drain the water and tells us it is $150 an hour to fix. The engine went out and pump so that was an extra $150. Yup $300 down the drain literally. So I ask if it is going to work after he replaces the motor and pump...He says he don't know. What?! isn't he the repairman? Well he says to me "You can give me my $150 and I can go!...very rudely:( waa I'm sad and frustrated at this point...Give him $150 for just showing up and not fixing my washer??? no way so dumb me..."go ahead replace the motor.... so it cost $300

I think since he is the repairman he should have told me it wasn't going to work I mean shouldn't he have known that information I could have used the 300 towards a new washer. He wasn't very nice at all and I do customer service so I tend to have tons of patience with people...But he must have gotten up on the wrong side of the repairman bed:(
and if I would have let him leave it still would have cost me $150...I don't get it.
I bought a new washer which comes today I'm excited! cost $400 after all the rebates...sometimes it ain't worth trying to fix
Wow, I got off cheap. It only cost me $35 to find out these guys are no good.
The technician looked at the dryer, collected his $35 fee, said he'd order the parts, and left. WE NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. I wish I could select zero stars.
Technician did not show up for the appointment. Did not call to cancel. Did not answer when I called to find out what was going on. Had to take two hours off work and got stood up. Crappy service. Don't use them.
So lately I've had some problems with my refrigerator & washer that I've been putting off for way too long. It's just part of being the superstar procrastinator that I've been known to excel at from time to time. But yesterday I caved in... I'd had enough with the food in my refrigerator freezing. So I called around for quotes. The first 3 companies gave me somewhat of a runaround. Then I called KV. These guys offered me the cheapest quote for an at home visit ($25) assuming nothing needed fixing. They also got the ball rolling by asking about the make/model of my appliances & to ensure that they would have all the necessary parts when they arrived. I got a call 20 minutes before Miguel showed up to let me know they were on the way. Then Miguel showed up ready for action. In 20 minutes he had fixed everything & also made a repair on a hose that was leaking behind my fridge that I had not even noticed, all inclusive like the rockstar repairman that he is. He also looked at my washer & explained how I could fix it for $5 instead of the $30 he had to charge. I agreed to give it a try & now I have working washer & I get to eat salad that doesn't look like frozen vegetables. All that & these guys stuck to the phone estimate, which is always a bonus with repairmen. These guys rock...
