its american canyon. nothing is supposed to be remotely good in american canyon. just look at the name of the city: "American Canyon". its not the "American" part - that im cool with. the name denotes the "Canyon" of America, which is totally misleading and even a bit pompous.
but KT Noodle, its probably even nicer because of its geographical handicap. i tried the egg noddle soup with wantons and pot-sticker appetizer. the soup was more on the bland side, but the foodstuff is very homemade authentic - the pot-stickers made me think of mom and summer afternoons of folding little squares filled with lettuce, pork, and other goodness. they serve beer, but the best part?
the magic.
yes, magic. my friends and i were the only patrons in the place near closing and halfway through the meal, the son (i believe) came up and put on a magic show with a magic fork that magically bent right before our eyes. magic. i still have the little souvenir.
they offered us a free beer as well, and were extremely friendly. family run business at its best. if ever you find yourself in american canyon, get out quick, but hit KT Noodle first and be sure to inquire about the magic show.
