Two words Fried Dough! There is a doughnut and then there is a Krispy Kreme. To me there is no comparison so don't event try. I know some people will call them an ugly chain but to be honest when you see that hot doughnuts sign light up then you know that your belly is about to join a happy place.

Krispy Kreme is the McDonald's of Doughnuts. You want cheap, same, and consistent, here it is. They have the common courtesy of telling you when it's good and hot, you can get your pack of same-y doughnuts, and repeat ad nauseum.
The handful of times I've been in this Krispy Kreme, I've found the place to be a bit drab and dull, as if time as worn the place down to a grey spot. I've had a bit of variety with the service, as well. I had a very friendly man happily give me my doughnuts with a smile sweeter than the smell in the store, and I've also had two women that seemed to feel I was an inconvenient obstacle to the money in my wallet. I think it all depends on the time of day you arrive; the earlier, the better. However, this statement brings me to my point. If you want a good doughnut early in the morning, Nicola's Donuts is a mere three minutes drive away and their doughnuts are incomparable to Krispy Kreme.
So, if you need a cheap fix on donuts, go ahead and get one here. But if you want a true, good doughnut, go the extra mile (literally) and go to Nicola's down the road. You'll thank me later. -

I got the Jolly Rancher slushie and a doughnut from this place and it was great!!!! That slushie will make you slap somebody it is so good!!! I have had both flavors, the green apple and the watermelon. I prefer the green apple, however the watermelon is jumpin' too! It keeps me coming back time after time. The doughnuts were great too, they are fresh and it's almost as if they melt in your mouth... but that could be a problem if you are trying to shed a pound or two. :)

This Krispy Kreme turns on their fresh light very often, which any doughtnut eater knows means that the place is good. Whenever I am hungry for doughnuts I can usually count on this place to have some fresh and hot ones.

I love Krispy Kreme glazed donuts when the HOT sign is on! Its so good!!!! MmmmmMMm.. Its so good that when you bite into it, its extra soft and almost melts in your mouth. Not nearly as fond as the other flavors - go for the normal glazed versions.

Okay people, I like your reviews and after stopping here myself I have to add WOW....AWEOSME DONUTS!!! But I will go one step further and say that what really made the trip worthwile was the fact that when I mentioned how fresh they were the counter lady showed off the window where I could watch them make the donuts. WOW, what an operation. I could not stop watching the assembly line and the glaze pouring over the fresh glazed donuts!!! I took a picture or two and will add them. Bring your kids here......they will thank you and get all bugged eyed like I did !!!!!!!
