Their sensationalist and tabloid approach to the news is awful.  

If I wanted that, I'd watch crap like Inside Edition.

Ok I am tad annoyed that KOVR folks think  Sacramento is in the mid-west. To air CBS programming an hour earlier than the other networks as if we all lived on farms and have to go to bed early so we can get up at the crack of dawn to milk the cows, is just weird.

What can I say.  I love KOVR 13.  Use to be a KCRA 3 baby until Stan Atkinson retired, then I moved on over to this channel.  Maybe it was the younger blood here, or the better website, or maybe, better reception??

I worked here on a brief stint during college, and my experience was amazing.  They have a great team here and the anchors wander freely, mingling, and socializing with everyone.  There was no arrogant or pretentious persons to affect me.  The old switcheroo between affiliates was the big moment for me and I had fun explaining that to people calling in.  

This is a good organization to work for if you have interest in journalism and/or marketing.  It is fast-paced and lots of new challenges make for a great experience.
