I have ordered from this place two times in the last two weeks. Its mostly a weekday lunch. The place has a menu thats ridiculously long.
So i was plesaanlty surprised that while you feel liek they can do ANYTHING, the dishes are not all that bad.
Pulled pork sandwich - Good. Great portion.
Dragon Burger: the jalapenos are great, and they add hot sauce too. If you like spice, get this one! Yum.
I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before I got tricked into ordering here via http://Delivery.com. That's what I get for being lazy I guess!
I was craving a hamburger late night and saw all the four and five star ratings this restaurant had. The reviewers on that site should hang up their knife and fork at their attempts of being food critics until further notice. I will never take any of their reviews seriously again.
My bottom burger bun was a soggy, sloppy, disgusting mess. The bacon wasn't even slightly crisp. It was barely cooked. In fact the whole sandwich was probably nuked in a microwave and sent to my house, hence the fact that the bottom of my bun was completely waterlogged. I suspect at one time the entire sandwich was frozen. The meat had the consistency of a sponge. And they have the balls to charge me almost $12 for this crap!?
Next time I'm hitting up Mickey D's! Forget this Kool Bloo's nonsense! If I want to eat mediocre food, by golly it had better be cheap! Bring on the Mad Cow Disease baby!
Seriously... Who came up with that name because they're fired too! There is absolutely nothing KOOL about the fact that you BLOO way too much money on horrid food that is so bad you can't even eat it, even though you are starving. Never ever again even if it's the last burger joint on Earth!
I ordered once with my roommates and since then we are hooked.
High quality food and excellent shakes. We ordered on http://www.koolblo.com at 11:37 and the bell rang at 11:54. Huge burgers, real thick Shakes, and more importantly super fast delivery. We will be ordering every day from you KOOL BLOO.
its shity food!
Good lunch specials- for ten bucks you get a big juicy cheeseburger and yummy crunchy seasoned fries.....thinking about it makes me want one right now........mmhmm Kool Bloo. Thank you for curing all my hangovers ;)

Great delivery service. Fast, extensive menu!! Anything from Philly Cheese Steak to French toast.… Read more »
The menu is vast here and the food isn't bad but the only time I'd order here is if it was late (they are open 24/7) and nothing else was open. Their prices are too high for the food you are getting (burgers, sandwiches, fries, etc...) which is nothing special. The delivery is quick but still not really worth the extra $$...
I can not recall much of this experience, like the name of dishes involved, so not sure what it's worth to you- but I got delivery from here using SeamlessWeb and, my GOD, it was awful.
They took forever. Everyone's food was cold (only 3 of us!). Bland. And one of the dishes was wrong. We called the place back, and they brought over the proper dish, but the new dish was horrendous as well. This was definitely a "why did we have to try something new?!" night.
It's 4 a.m. and you are stumbling back home and craving anything fried... their spicy (yet pricey) curly fries will do the trick. The menu is vast and will hit any of your late night cravings. Nothing fancy, but will do the trick.
I actually ordered dinner from Kool Boo as a pick-up on my way to the hotel, philly cheese and fries! The fries are to die for! So great! Then, later I was craving a chocolate milkshake so I used the online ordering and had it delivered with a couple of drinks. Typically I would not order a milkshake for delivery... but it's freezing out and almost snowing!
Great service, delicious food!
I give this place 4 stars ONLY for its breakfast wraps.
THATS IT.
If I were to rate the rest of the restaurant it would get about 2 stars. Do NOT let the menu tempt you, everything sounds good because it is fried and brings back a flood of childhood and late-night college gluttony binging memories, but it is NOT good.
ONLY ORDER THE BREAKFAST WRAPS...
I REPEAT:
ONLY ORDER THE BREAKFAST WRAPS...
Had the South of the Border burger - Medium Rare - cooked just as I like it with lettuce & tomato amply layered in with the jalapeno peppers, jack cheese and pico de gallo sauce - YUMMMMYYY. Bun was real substantial with lots-o-sesame seeds and fresh and burger was thick and juicy. Did the job!
P.S. Choco layer cake still TDF!!!! I upgraded for that - sometimes you like to know something you have a taste for is exactly as you remembered!!

I had a hankering for some BBQ, and although I was told I was ordering from BBQ Pit on 23rd St.,… Read more »
I ordered the brown rice, spinach, and tahini with grilled salmon as my topping. It's a bit pricey, but I figured it'd be good for two days.
However, only half my order came. It turns out, they'd run out of the salmon, so instead of calling me (they had my number) to see if I'd like a substitute, they sent just the rice, spinach, and tahini.
The food was average at best, but it is pricey, so no value-for-money here.
I won't be ordering from them again.
I live a block and and a half from them and get delivery at least once a week. Typically its lunch. It took me a while to figure out its called "Cool Blue", not "Cool Blow". More importantly, there are 2 things that both puzzle and amaze.
1) I click on submit on http://seamlessweb.com and then the doorbell rings. Click, ding! Fastest delivery I have ever experienced. Delivery magicians.
2) The fries are always crispy no matter how long they have sat. More voodoo. Hot or cold they are crispy. Never over cooked and slightly spicy. Some of the best fries in town in my opinion. Always hot due to their delivery ESP.
The burgers, cheesesteaks and greeks are usually pretty good though $11 for a burger and fries is a tad expensive. Burgers are usually cooked well, the cheesesteaks have some odd options that I stay away from and their greeks do the job too.
In conclusion, if you want to have a meal filled with mystery and wonder, I recommend you give them a try. Oddly satisfying place.
Ordered from East Village one. It's not listed. Tried to order another night when it was too late for anything else. Took a better look at menu and remembered the last time order. It was WAY overpriced. Not worth it. Even with a coupon it wasn't worth it. It is all frozen food fried and salted. I felt like I had to drink 10 gallons of water or I would turn into a salt lick. Luckily we remember this and ordered from somewhere else.
I've ordered here a few times. Those 3am work sessions where I'm just too beat to walk to the 24 hour diner.
To be honest, the service is good. The online ordering system makes it easy and the delivery is fast. The food is always packed well. No greasy bags falling apart or smashed food here.
The food itself is ok. Seasoned fries have to be my favorite thing. The chicken burgers are great. Onion rings are pretty standard. However, stay far far FAR away from the beef burgers. They use some type of patty that tastes microwaved (definetly a frozen patty) and is reminiscent of school lunches.
Not a bad choice when it's late and you're too lazy to go out. Just be prepared to pay a bit for that luxury.
As mentioned by others, the pricing here can be a little insane. It seems like they just pick an arbitrary number for pricing various items. A small side of onion rings is $4.50!
The burgers and sandwiches are priced pretty average compared to the restaurants in the surrounding area. The burger I had was decent tasting however it's very hit and miss. They have their on days and their off days.
On an off day be prepared for your order to have something incorrectly executed.
The key to this 4 star rating is that I am lazy and if you have no idea what you are hungry for the menu is pretty vast (yes this can annoy me) but the delivery boy is better than sliced bread in my book. Food is above average for what it is and yep, they deliver. Call me lazy.
So overpriced!!!! Damn. Kool Bloo is notorious at my company (we're across the street). "Ugh, Kool Bloo sucks!" 9 times out of 10. Kool Bloo wouldn't be so bad if you could get a meal for under $12. $4.50 for fries? Last time I got a falafel and a small fry. It cost me $12. What? They're open 24/7 and it's fast. Try the Mcdonalds down the street, guys. Or, just stop by a deli and get a hoagie. Don't you dare get a hero! It's a hoagie.
my brother & i ordered from kool bloo via seamlessweb. their menu is extensive. they have at least 25 different burgers (not different as in meat types, but different with respect to the toppings on them), so we had a hard time choosing. in the end my brother chose the "good ol' days" burger (beef w/mushrooms & swiss, $8.95) and i chose the california veggie burger ($8.95). my brother also chose to add fries ($2), and for an extra $4, chicken noodle soup plus a chocolate chip cookie. our food arrived pretty quickly, and it was still very hot. we were a little disappointed with the way that everything tasted though. despite obviously fresh ingredients, everything tasted quite bland. the beef burger wasn't seasoned enough and the soup was completely tasteless. the fries & cookie were ok and we ended up finishing those. my veggie burger was a little better --- it came stuffed with fresh vegetables, a veggie patty, and in a whole wheat pita coated with a smoky-tasting hummus. however, i still found it lacking taste --- a little more salt would definitely have been better. my burger came with a side of fresh salad as well. overall, the food tasted healthy, but not good. will probably not order from here again.
