OK. So let's get real. If you need a spray tan, this is where you need to go.
I've had a thousand spray tans in over 10 years of modeling, and when I got sprayed by Katie at Kona, I was hooked.
As long as she is around, there will never be anywhere else that I go.
I know that when I go to Kona, I'm going to get exactly what I want, feel comfortable getting tanned, and its going to last me about 10 days if I take care of it right.
Its prices are perfect for my budget, and their schedule is very flexible to fit my needs; they have even stayed open late just so I could make it in.
Kona's tans are custom. You can go as dark or as light as you would like.
They can add abs, definition in our 'undefined' areas, and make our butts look amazing.
Katie is the most cheerful, and hilarious girl I know. She is the best part of the tan, and she is soooo knowledgable. Its like she can read your mind. And I'm not embarrassed to be in my undies around her, which is nice. :)

This is the first spray tan I've ever gotten and I'm totally hooked.
Katie is extremely helpful and considerate in addition to being super skilled at what she does. After she was finished I didn't realize what a difference it made until we moved my swimsuit bottom string aside. This girl tans the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show models so you know she's good!
I followed the whole dark-loose-fitting-clothing rule for 12 hours and although it was a little uncomfortable at first, the feeling went away and everything was fine.

The best spray tan I've ever gotten! (Only once.)
Super amazing color, lasted a long time. I have never been so dark and not orangy. I visited Kona Tan for my pre-wedding spray and it looked so amazing in pictures.
Def glad I came here, but thank god it was a part of my make-up package. I think its 60 per tan which seems like a lot to me.

**Update with more to come. Spoke with Katie from Kona, what an awesome lady! We are going to try again, due to them getting their only 2 bad reviews ever in a weeks time, the conclusion is very possibly a bad batch of tanner, which was all discarded and new product re-ordered. I will have an update next week. :)
Friendly friendly staff and really, I think they are good at what they do.......Sadly, their product was not as exciting. Got an airbrush tan, the solution is no good. It's streaky, thick, gives you a much less than natural color, of course understanding spray tans aren't the most natural looking way to get bronzed, and fades very unevenly. Being the Casper that I am, it did the trick for a trip to Vegas, but not without work. Scrubbing blotchy areas, hiding my feet when realizing how uneven the were, etc. This is what you should be paying to avoid with an airbrush tan vs mystic or self tanner...so value wasn't there. -

I was reading the reviews of the other gals who apparently got into a "bad batch" of tanner, and I don't know if that was the same that I got my tan , which was around mid-April, but I had a pretty rotten experience too.
The tanning process wasn't bad at all, the gal was really sweet, and the ONLY reason I'm not giving this place 1 star. She also reminded me to check in at the end of the appointment for the Yelp savings, in case anyone was stalking me online and therefore would be able to come find me, mid nude-tanning. So that was very nice of her.
But the rest of the day was miserable. I was a STICKY, BRONZY MESS. I was wearing some old clothes of my boyfriend's as they were loose-fitting, but ugh, it was so gross. I'm a farmgirl and used to all types of dirt and ick, but having to leave this stuff on for 12 hours was pure torture, even though I slept through a lot of it.
Also, I'm very very pale (think the lightest color of makeup and that's ALWAYS me) and so after the initial spray, I was SO BROWN that I refused to let my bf come see me, because I looked absolutely ridiculous.
The next day, I washed off the bronzy gunk to reveal--ORANGE. I was definitely orange. And on top of that, when the gal sprayed my hands, she apparently only sprayed one side or something because all of my fingers looked like two face--one side bronze, and the other white as a sheet. I guess it goes without saying that my feet were a mess too.
But--my body looked good, in the right light, that is. Once I got outside, I was orange all over again. A few days later I went to the Pet Expo with my boyfriend and was able to see my skin in all it's orangey glory. Thank goodness he apparently likes me enough to be with me in public with oompa loompa skin. Next time, I'm just going to do the Jergen's gradual tanning lotion. This review should have been posted months ago (when I actually received my airbrush tan), I know I know, I lagged but...
OHMYGOSH ILOVEKATIE! Oops, I think I just spit. Dangit, always happens when I speak too fast with excitement.
Well yes, while I have never received an airbrush tan before, I was completely satisfied with the results and have no need to look elsewhere for my tanning needs.
I made an appointment online to receive a half tan, in which my face,arms,chest, and legs are sprayed. Its perfect for me as I do not need a full body tan.
Katie was SUPER sweet! While I was,um, sprayed(?) I guess that is what I would call it, Katie took the time to ask me questions regarding my tanning experience and about my life in general while sharing some of her life stories as well. How nice is that? I could tell she was genuinely interested in our conversation. Now that is some great customer service!. Aweeee, can we be friends?
I noticed that Katie was extremely detailed with my tan. She applied an even tan and appropriate amount of color. Perfect.
When I was finished paying she even suggested I bring a $10.00 off coupon to apply to my next visit! Who doesn't appreciate discounts?!
I would highly recommend Kona Tanning. -

Nice peeps but the tanning solution these use is crap don't waste your money unless you are already dark or have a consitent base tan but if you are white like me dont do it.. It comes out chalky dark brown orange. When it starts to dissipate it looks like a skin condition where spots of your skin are white , some are spotted and some are just dark so you look like shit until it's gone... Disappointed...

I've gotten a mystic tan before and it's nothing compared to getting an airbrush tan. I'm very fair and I needed some color, the girls who do the air brush tan are very professional and explain everything to you that you need to know. My tan lasted for a week and it looked really natural. It was not at all orange, it left my skin really soft. I will definetly be coming here again.
