5 star rating for the restaurant!!

$5 for anything on the menu and they are not bad at all!

Go there hungry and get two dishes!!

I would not say this is a Korean version of Walmart, though.  There are places like H-Mart that are comparable.

Comparing every korean market to the ones in NYC and LA is tough, but I give KOMART 5/5 starts because....... its in DALLAS!

Can it be better? Sure. Can it have more stuff? Yeap.

However, aside from the great selections you simply cannot find elsewhere (regular markets) they also have $5 restaurant (great food and CHEAP), they also have a cell phone place (which have korean phones you can't buy here)... and they have some mini-stands sellings facial stuffs and nick-nacks.

Anyways, great place!

Komart is basically the Korean version of any other asian foodmart you see around. When you enter you have to go by the knickknack area to get to the grocery section. They have typical asian cookware and kitchen appliances for sale. They have a decent selection of meats and vegitables for whatever your cooking needs even if your not trying to make Korean food.

Off to the side is a food stand. $5 gets you any item on the menu. Not bad food but cheap and quick.

Komart is like the korean walmart. Huge place with everything you could want grocery wise and even some cooking utensils and home appliances. There is a little gift shop type place kinda like a sanrio with a lot of random crap and cutesy shit your girlfriend would like. If you want a kimchi fridge you can get one here as well.

Dont be fooled by the cell phone store though! Samsung, LG, Helio straight from Korea right? Should be cheaper, right? PFFT! Their prices with contract are HIGHER than you could get these phones off ebay. Careful there.

The little deli area and the boba place are nice though. Dont expect super high quality food for $5.00 but its a nice inexpensive lunch if you're in the area. They usually have kimbap on the shelf near the register for $1.50 if you're just looking for a snack as well.

Be warned, they dont accept credit cards unless your purchase is over $10. Technically this is against the law but lots of places do this and get away with it so either bring cash or buy some more stuff!

$5 for above average quality food.  Can't beat that price!

Anytime I need to do some shopping at Ko-Mart, I eat at the food court.  Again, can't beat that price.  My fav is the spicy pork.  If I'm really hungry, I'll get the spicy pork and the dduk-bbok-kki.

Yeah the food counter is only $5 for any of the meals, you have to first go to the grocery cash register and pay and take the receipt up to the food counter with your order. It's not the best, but it's cheap.

It's basically a Korean food market with several different kinds of kiosks inside.  If you're into cooking Korean food or just looking for different Asian spices and what not they'll have it. They also have a nice selection of Asian dish sets, rice cookers, and other kitchen items. Usually, the thing I go there for is there meats. They have marinated Korean ribs called "Galbi" that I usually take home to cook on the grill.
As for their kiosks inside, they have ones that sell cell phones, vitamins, women's accessories, and they have a place where you can even eat freshly prepared Korean foods.
Another thing, you don't have to know Korean to shop there. There's quite a few people there that do speak English.

Lunch counter food is inconsistent.  Sometimes, there is too much MSG and salt and sometimes food is excellent.  Good value nevertheless. Groceries are fresh and premarinated Bulgogi meats rock for a quick dinner!

Ko-Mart: anyone can guess it's a Korean grocery store.  But inside, there is also a type of deli where the meals are only $5.  Some choices are: bulgogi, ojingo bokum (spicy squid), fried rice, noodles, etc. Each meal comes with the day's special or whatever they decide to do (ie - kim chi, pickled radishes, seaweed, etc.)  rice, and some hot soup.

Ko-mart also has small kiosks inside where they have cute Hello Kitty type things such stickers, cellphone charms, plushies, etc.  They also have others that sell cellphones, hairclips, babies' clothing, etc.

And of course, you can't forget the grocery store if you're just looking to cook your own Korean food.

Clean and good selection of special korean food produce, meat and products.

I love to go for the $5 meals that they have.

You pay at the cashier first, just say I want to pay for a $5 meal, go up to the counter right across from the cashier area and check out the selection, pick one, give the # of your selection to the counter person and your receipt from which you paid the cashier and sit and wait for your order.

Free water and self service, credit card or cash, parking in strip mall lot and there is security(for what reason---I dont know), pretty safe area because I have gone to that area many times at night with no problems.

The meal usually comes with 2 panchan, rice always and it's so cheap and good.

I had the spicy kimchee pork once and tried the spicy tofu the second time. Cheap and tasty.

The food court inside this Korean supermarket serves decent Korean food.  Some of the food they serve include bulgogi (beef), kalbi (ribs), mandu (Korean hot pot stickers), and soon tofu (spicy seafood soup).  My favorite is the bibimbap (rice with mixed vegetables) served in a hot stone bowl.  For $5 per item, you get rice with the dish and some kim-chee (pickled vegetables); really good value.
